It is undeniable that Miller is both one of the greatest players of all time and absolutely a pioneer of women’s basketball. However, to compare her to Clark is folly. Clark plays in an era with much more parity across the sport compared to Miller. That means that Clark is a better player against better overall competition. Stephen A. Smith has said that it’s Anthony Edwards’ “moment” after his Timberwolves’ teammate Karl-Anthony Towns was shut down for the season. Edwards, the first-overall pick in 2020, is averaging 26.4/5.2/5.1 this season. If the Wolves are to continue their historic season, Edwards is going to need to carry the load down the stretch. The Timberwolves are 44-19 and first in the Western Conference.

However, Edwards is already someone that Towns himself thinks is destined for greatness. “It brings a smile to all of our faces. He’s one of the top players in the NBA right now. JAY-Z called up Stephen A. Smith to reprimand him for pitting Rihanna against Beyonce in a viral debate, last year. Ahead of Rihanna’s appearance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, he argued that she’s not as good of an artist as Beyonce. Reflecting on the drama during an appearance on the Connect the Dots podcast, the ESPN host revealed that he spoke with JAY-Z afterward.

“I love Rihanna. I bought her album, she gets my money. Mad love for her, wish her nothing but the best … But you do know there’s only one Beyonce,” Smith began, reiterating his comments. “A month later, Hov and I were on the phone. Hov was like, ‘My dawg, you family, that’s family. That’s too close to say that.’ I said, ‘I didn’t know.’ He said, ‘I know.’ Done! In other words, it’s a business, it’s a part of it, you don’t know how she’ll receive it, etc. etc. etc. That’s all he had to say. I appreciated that.”

Stephen A. Smith For President? Charles Barkley Is On Board

Meanwhile, Charles Barkley has endorsed Stephen A. Smith for President. “Let me tell you why [I’d vote for you]. Because I know you don’t have an evil bone in your body and I don’t think you have an agenda. That’s all I want. Even if you vote for somebody, you’re not gonna agree on every subject,” Barkley told Smith during an appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show. Furthermore, Barkley also said he’d prefer to see the Democrats nominate California Governor Gavin Newsom instead of President Biden.

However, the moment comes after Barkley openly endorsed GOP long-shot Nikki Haley on his show with Gayle King last week.
