Young M.A Claims Her Throne On The Triumphant New Single “Successful”

Young M.A appears to be set to have another huge year in 2021. Since clearing up rumors about her getting shot and fueling theories that she’s dating Heather Rose, the New York artist has been hitting fans with heat for weeks. Young M.A dropped the popular single “Off The Yak” in February, and she also treated fans of remixes to SpotemGottem’s “Beat Box” and CJ’s “Whoopty.” Now, the Red Lyfe rapper is getting fans excited for her upcoming album with the release of the new single “Successful.”

A triumphant soul sample drives the single’s hard-hitting production, and Young M.A floats on the beat with ease. “Successful” finds the Brooklyn-born artist boasting about her long-term success as an independent artist as well as her influence in her city. “Successful” ditches a drawn-out hook for a positive and affirming refrain that simply consists of Young M.A. saying the phrase, “I’m one word with ten letters/Successful,” twice. Thus, even with a runtime of about two and a half minutes, the track is able to fit in three scorching verses from the “Off The Yak” rapper.

Check out Young M.A’s latest single below, and sound off it the comments if you’re feeling it.

Quotable Lyrics

So many people let me down, why would I let up? (Why?)

I can’t trust these pretty bitches, M-O-B forever (Mob)
Yeah, my heart told me, “Fuck love, get your shit together” (Uh-huh)

Snoop Dogg Drops Off New Single “Roaches In My Ashtray”

Snoop Dogg has nothing left to prove, but that hasn’t stopped him from building on the foundation he’s been building for the past thirty years. Now, Snoop is gearing up to release his eighteenth studio album From Tha Streets To Tha Suites, and today comes the release of The Doggfather’s new single “Roaches In My Ashtray.”

Off the bat, this latest track arrives with a heavy dose of funk, the likes of which have become with synonymous west coast production. In other words, it’s Snoop Dogg in his natural habitat. Opting to slide over the bouncy bass and synthesizers, Snoop pulls back and lets the vibe take over. “Bodyguard hard, could’ve swore I left a blunt in my ashtray,” he raps, his flow laid back. “Little homie slid up on me, pulled a fast play, but this the last play.” When it comes to sheer charisma, few can rival the one and only Snoop Dogg — even if you haven’t been keeping up with his recent musical output, rest assured that he’s still doing what he does best.

Check out “Roaches In My Ashtray” now, and stay tuned for more news on From Tha Streets To Tha Suites.

Lil Uzi Vert Assists On Posthumous FXXXY Single “Yeah Kool”

We received sad news back in September when we learned that FXXXXY passed away at the young age of 25. The rapper-producer was one of Future’s artists and was on his way up when he reportedly lost his life due to complications while undergoing a medical procedure. Six months later, FXXXY’s music lives on with his posthumous single “Yeah Kool” featuring Lil Uzi Vert.

The pair share bars on the Supah Mario production where they speak on their come-up and why they deserve attention. We’re not sure what the late Dallas rapper’s team has in store for the future, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we know. Following his death, FXXXXY’s family issued a statement where they expressed their shock about his passing and gratitude to those who supported them through a difficult time.

The last album we received from BROCKHAMPTON was GINGER, their 2019 release that they claimed was much-inspired by actor Shia LaBeouf. The collective of rappers is slated to share two projects this year and according to Kevin Abstract, it will mark the “last” of their albums as they close out an era. It’s unclear what they each have in store following their conclusion, but we’re sure BROCKHAMPTON fans will continue to support them.

Next week, BROCKHAMPTON is slated to release their album ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE. On Friday (April 2), the crew shared their second single of the year, “COUNT ON ME,” and this time they gathered assistance from A$AP Rocky and SoGone SoFlexy. This collaboration has been highly anticipated by fans, not only because 42 Dugg and Roddy Ricch are two of the hottest rappers on the scene currently, but because there was an apparent shooting last month while they were filming their music video. Three people were reportedly wounded during the incident while the two rappers were unscathed. Iggy Azalea Taps Tyga For “Sip It” Single

She took time to tend to her home life and now Iggy Azalea is ready to roll out her new album. Last year, as we were all under quarantine, Iggy gave birth to her firstborn, Onyx, a son she shares with Playboi Carti. The pair are no longer together and fans received front row seats to the unfolding of their drama as it played out on social media at the end of 2020. Now that that’s behind her, Iggy returns with new music.

End of an Era is slated for release sometime this year and it will mark Iggy’s third studio album and a follow-up to her 2019 effort, In My Defense. On Friday (April 2) Iggy delivered two new tracks and here, we’ll tackle “Sip It” featuring Tyga. Freddie Gibbs Blazes Through “Big Boss Rabbit”

He may have missed out on a Grammy win, but with or without it, Freddie Gibbs remains one of the most respected emcees in the Rap game. The Alfredo artist was recently nominated for Best Rap Album and ultimately lost to Nas’s King’s Disease, but Gibbs took it all in stride. The savvy lyricist has returned to share his new single “Big Boss Rabbit” on Friday (April 2) along with an accompanying music video where Gibbs gets to work in the studio.

On the single, Gibbs blazes through the track with his hard-hitting bars, as usual, causing fans to further anticipate the rumored joint project with Benny The Butcher. Benny recently fanned the flames of the gossip by revealing that there is truth to the rumors, although we don’t know much about it all just yet. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more about the collaborative album, but until then, stream Freddie Gibbs’s “Big Boss Rabbit” and share your thoughts.

Lil Gotit Drops Hype New Gunna-Directed Video For “Toosie”

Atlanta rapper Lil Gotit is seriously on a roll. Following the release of his latest single “Wok”, the 21-year-old rapper has returned with a brand new music video for “Toosie”, the second single from his upcoming full-length release.

On Thursday, Lil Gotit released the 69 Boyz-sampling “Toosie”, which trap-ifies the 1994 hit record “Toosie Roll”. The track is a bonafide hit, exciting fans for what’s to come from Gotit’s upcoming project Top Chef Gotit, which is executive produced by none other than Gunna.

In the video, which was also directed by Gunna, the Top Chef gets a bunch of food ready for a cookout with dozens of bikini-clad women, stunting in his car and giving his brother a call on FaceTime. Despite the sample being released years before his birth, Gotit works magic over it.

Stay tuned for more new music from Lil Gotit, who is dropping Top Chef Gotit in the coming weeks.

Bree Runway Heats Up With “HOT HOT,” Her First Single Of 2021

After dropping off the impressive nostalgic nine-track project 2000AND4EVA in November, Bree Runway is finally back with her first single of 2021, the fiery summer-ready smash “HOT HOT.” In contrast to her 2020 release —‌ which boasted eye-catching collaborations with artists such as Missy Elliot, Yung Baby Tate, Maliibu Miitch, and Rico Nasty —‌ the London-born artist’s latest release is an entirely solo effort.

“HOT HOT” is a summer-ready anthem that’s bolstered by the catchy and self-assured hook, “You think you hot hot/You ain’t got it like me.” “HOT HOT” also arrives alongside a vibrant new Jocelyn Anquetil-directed music video, with gorgeous visuals that bring the confident and carefree aesthetic of the song to life. From shots of Bree Runway knocking out some choreography at a car wash to steamy shots of the UK multihyphenate twerking in an oily puddle, the music video for “HOT HOT” is just as dynamic as her single.

Get ready for the summer with Bree Runway’s blazing new single “HOT HOT,” and check out its music video below.
