K Camp & True Story Gee Connect On “Guts”

K Camp has been propping up the RARE Sound empire for success in the past few years. He hasn’t slowed down on his own solo efforts but projects like RARE FAMILY and 2018’s RARE Sound showcased the immense talent that his label boasts aside from himself. True Story Gee has been crushing every single track he’s released but his chemistry with K Camp brings their hit-making prowess to new heights.

This week, the two rappers connected for a chilling banger titled, “Guts.” The braggadocious record is carried by the piano-laden trap production as K Camp and True Story Gee pop their shit. “Standin’ on the couch with a pocket full of money and bottle in my hand, I could see you in the cut,” K Camp raps on his verse. True Gee takes on a more melodic delivery, contrasting Camp’s deadpan tone. He complements Camp’s bars with a smooth flow that details his rise to the top.

Ain’t you lookin’ like a sucka?
All these bitches wanna fuck, yellow diamonds on me
Wrist looking like Busta

Skillibeng, Dutchavelli &Topsquad Link Up On “Pull Up”

If you aren’t familiar with Skillibeng yet, you better catch the wave now before it’s too late. The Jamaican trap star has been a rising force in the country and now, he’s making international strides. His hit single, “Crocodile Teeth” earned an official remix from Nicki Minaj this year, and more recently, Tory Lanez put his spin on the record.

This weekend, Skillibeng teamed up with Dutchavelli with some assistance from Topsquad for their new collaboration, “Pull Up.” Filled with trippy, chopped up vocals, and an electronic twist, Skillibeng’s raw delivery meets Dutchavelli’s baritone vocals for banger fit for any rave.

Skillibeng recently released his project, The Prodigy: Ladies Only Edition featuring Rich The Kid, Jay Critch, Projexx, and more.

Quotable Lyrics
Took her to the crib, she had to leave in the Manana
She told me Dutch, give me your son or a daughter
She bad like RiRi, she wanna shot caller
She just missed a flight but I could put her on a charter
She said her ex-man is in a land called LaLa

Asian Doll Recruits Rubi Rose, Dreezy, Dream Doll & Ivorian Doll For “Nunnadet Sh*t” Remix

Asian Doll is proving all of her naysayers wrong these days. Her career hasn’t gone without its fair share of ups and downs but after recently revealing that she’s enlisted Stacia Mac as her new manager, it seems like Asian Doll’s going to be making some serious noise in the near future, outside of her typical headline-grabbing antics.

A few months ago, Asian Doll tapped into a drill side of her artistry with the release of “Nunnadet Shit.” Though noticeably in the vein of the late King Von, the song’s continued to steam up and now, she’s unveiled the official remix to the track featuring a slew of the hardest ladies in rap. DreamDoll, Dreezy, Rubi Rose, and UK’s Ivorian Doll deliver stellar verses, bringing high energy, and tons of swag to the record.

Quotable Lyrics
Keep a n***a with a glock, did time in the pen
Gettin bread on the block, get butter with Timbs

Kodak Black Interpolates NBA Youngboy Bars On “Senseless”

After a bid behind bars, Kodak Black has been on a mission to make up for the lost time in his career. Since his release in January, the rapper already released two new projects — his full-length Haitian Boy Kodak and his surprising birthday release, Happy Birthday Kodak. However, the stream of music isn’t stopping any time soon. Between the two projects, a few guest appearances, and loose singles, it’s apparent that Kodak Black has enough music in the stash that he’s getting ready to release.

The rapper came through earlier today with a new video to accompany his latest single, “Senseless.” Taking on twangy, bluesy Louisiana production,  Kodak’s latest track was produced by Buddha Blessed and references NBA Youngboy’s “Make No Sense.” “I feel like I’m Kodak Black in 2015/ In the VIP with plenty killas, mixin’ molly with the lean,” Kodak raps on the hook through his nasally delivery. “Don’tmake no sense, I catch a body on the scene.”

Given the previous friction between NBA Youngboy and Kodak Black, it’s an interesting sample to choose from and flip.

Quotable Lyrics
Over on Southside, with that strap on, don’t need nobody else
I feel like I’m Kodak Black, don’t see nobody else
My n***as ain’t got no money, oh boy, get Jesus outta here
My n***as ain’t got no money, kick the demon outta here

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Flips Capella Grey’s “Gyalis”

Even though it’s been over a year since A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie unveiled his incredibly lengthy album, Artist 2.0. Its deluxe edition boasted nearly 30 songs in total with appearances from Khalid, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, and more. Boogie might be riding high off of the album’s release, he hasn’t slowed down with new releases. Whether it’s a guest verse or a loose track that randomly pops up on the timeline, A Boogie is still serving up heat at any given moment.

Capella Grey’s single “Gyallis” has been gaining some serious buzz and now, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has now returned with the remix. The Juvenile sample and island flavor is a perfect fit for the rapper who flexes his vocal prowess with lavish flexes.

Quotable Lyrics
He thinks he’s that n***a
He’s the reason why she’s on my dick
He’s the reason she switchin’ sides
Please don’t feel ashamed, it’s a cycle
I’ve been places, felt uninvited
Way too many times I’ve been lied to

Soulja Boy Finally Drops “She Make It Clap” Remix Ft. French Montana

We’re supposedly a week away from the release of Soulja Boy’s new album, Draco. It will be his first project to be released under his deal with Virgin Music. The rapper’s been unloading new singles on a weekly basis with hopes that at least one of them will propel to Billboard success like “She Make It Clap.”

Soulja Boy is keeping the song’s momentum up with a brand new remix that he unveiled earlier today featuring French Montana. The two debuted the record at Verzuz with Bow Wow to build the anticipation. Soulja’s original verse remains intact while French comes through with references to KimYe’s split, Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner’s reunion, and Mayweather-Paul’s fight.

Soulja previously hinted at a remix with Nicki Minaj, though it’s possible that he’s saving that for the release of Draco.

Quotable Lyrics
Made it clap like a round of applause
In the water blue seats with the butterfly doors
You can give me those Ms, you can keep your awards
N***as be broke, they be lying on the Forbes

Swedish House Mafia Tap 070 Shake & Ty Dolla $ign For “Lifetime”

Though the last time they actively released new music was in 2013, the Swedish House Mafia are back, having recently inked a new deal with Republic Records. Now, shortly after dropping the single “It Gets Better” last week, the group has kept their foot on the gas with another release, this time alongside 070 Shake and Ty Dolla $ign.

Ahead of their upcoming album release, Swedish House Mafia linked up with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, where they discussed their vibey new collaboration. “[070 Shake] is right at the center of youth and we just love her,” explains SHM’s Steve Angello. “The energy, the vibe she has, the artistic integrity, everything about her is so unique, you know?”

They also praised the talents of Ty Dolla $ign, who has proven himself to be one of the game’s most versatile and beloved melodists. “When we wrote this song, we said, “Ty would be perfect for this because he has that grittiness in his voice that, first of all, all the ladies like a lot,” praises Sebastian Ingrosso. “And also, Swedish House Mafia likes a lot.”

Check out “Lifetime” now, and look for more music to emerge now that Swedish House Mafia are in the midst of a full-scale comeback.
