DijahSB Unleashes New Single “New Balance”

One of the coldest MCs out of Canada is back with a feel-good vibe. Toronto rapper DijahSB returned this week with a brand new single that takes inspiration from sports apparel. Their single “New Balance” is an upbeat, vibrant joint with a dash of chillwave in the production. Dijah weaves through the production with slick wordplay with a positive word about staying down in the hardest times. “I’m on my own journey, people see me when I’m lost/ But would never lend a hand, rather keep me at the cross/ Like Jesus, when he walked through the valley/ I’m very guided, well advised and making friends with the giants,” Dijah raps.

The release of their latest single arrives just a few months after Dijah dropped off their latest project, Head Above The Waters which includes singles like “Overtime” and “By Myself.”

James Blake Brings The Melancholic Vibes On New Song “Say What You Will”

James Blake is a master at his craft and whenever he drops new music, it tends to be an experience unlike any other. His melancholic brand of r&b has been praised by fans and his work has allowed him to collaborate with big artists like Travis Scott. It’s been a while since he dropped some original music although that is about to change as he recently revealed that his new album Friends That Break Your Heart is on the horizon.

To promote the new album, Blake dropped a single called “Say What You Will” which is accompanied by a fantastic music video starring him and Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas. The song has that signature sad Blake feel to it as we get reflections on modern society’s desire to be better than our fellow man in every regard. Blake is constantly being upstaged by Finneas in the video, and it’s something that he does his best to navigate through, especially considering he is in the music industry.

I look okay in the magic hour
In the right light with the right amount of power
And I’m okay with the life of the sunflower
And I’m okay with the life of a meteor shower

Dave & WizKid Team Up On “System”

Fans may have had to wait over two years for Dave’s follow-up album but the time and effort put in clearly paid off. The rapper delivered an excellent body of work on Friday titled, We’re All Alone In This Together that, quite frankly, could be one of the best hip-hop albums to be released in the UK this year. It boasts an array of features from Stormzy to James Blake and Snoh Aalegra.

Dave also links up with WizKid for an immediate highlight off of the project titled, “System.” With dazzling afrobeats instrumentation, Dave and Wiz celebrate their wealth, accomplishments, and the beautiful women they’re surrounded by. It’s another record that’s bound to ring out for the remainder of the year.

My girl, she badder than Rambo, a rider
Wan-Bissaka, the Lambo a Spyder
Michael Phelps, the AP a diver
Martial, my right hand, a striker
Tried to call, she blocked me, I Skyped her

bbno$ And Rich Brian Drop An Infectious Party Song With “edamame”

bbno$ is an artist who has been blowing up over the past couple of years thanks to some big collaborations as well as a unique rapping style that offers a solid flow and some humorous lyrics. bbno$ has had no issue with getting goofy in his music videos and when he teams up with other artists, he always gets the best out of them. This was certainly the case with his latest single “edamame” which features Rich Brian.

This is an undeniable party track as the instrumental is filled with uptempo horns and some drums that force both MCs to pick up the pace on their flows. Both Rich Brian and bbno$ are braggadocios on this song although they make sure to add in some funny lines to keep the mood light. The music video is also humorous and if you pay attention, you will see a cameo from Minnesota’s own Yung Gravy.

Quotable Lyrics:

I’ve been in the club and takin’ shots
If you got your mask off in the photo you getting cropped
Hoppin’ out the function, the CVS is like a block away
Bought a moisturizer, my ice cold, it’s drying my face

Yung Bleu & Davido Stay Cold Hearted On “Unforgiving”

Yung Bleu is giving the R&B guys a run for their money these days. The Mobile, Alabama artist has gone through the ebbs and flows of the music industry but has still come out on top. There are few independent artists with songs alongside Drake, John Legend, and Chris Brown, to name a few.

On Friday, the rapper unveiled his official debut album, Moon Boy. Laced with 15 songs in total, his formal debut is an excellent display of his vocal chops, and the versatility he brings with just about anybody he works with. The rapper links up with Nigerian afrobeats star Davido on “Unforgiving.” It leans more towards Bleu’s moody take on R&B rather than afrobeats, though the influence lingers through the percussion. The two singers detail their first heartbreak and the impact that it still lingers on.

Quotable Lyrics
She ain’t got no more feeling, she wanna leave
I fucked her best friend, yes, I made it easy
Put on a bulletproof vest, love ain’t easy
Feel like a shot in the chest, I caught her cheatin’

Bryson Tiller Surprises Fans With Brand New Track “One Sided”

Bryson Tiller has quickly become one of the biggest names in the world of r&b and whenever he drops, it is a massive event for his fans. At the start of his career, his releases seemed to be fairly far apart although these days, Tiller has made sure to keep a consistent inflow of new songs. More often than not, Tiller will drop songs without warning, and that is exactly what he did Saturday night as he dropped off a new song called “One Sided” on his SoundCloud.

This track features that spacey r&b sound that made Tiller so famous, all while the singer croons about trying to keep a relationship together despite the hardships. It’s one of those pop r&b songs that will sound good in any setting and there is no doubt that Tiller fans are going to love this effort.

Mo3’s “Get Back” Kicks Off Campaign For “Shottaz 4Eva (Deluxe)”

Mo3’s team is keeping his name alive in whatever way possible. The rapper’s first posthumous album, Shottaz 4eva dropped earlier this year, boasting 12 tracks with appearances from Boosie Badazz, Kevin Gates, Foogiano, YFN Lucci, and more. However, it appears that his team is preparing for the release of a deluxe edition in the near future. This week, they kicked off the campaign with “Get Back.” The thrilling banger finds MO3 tackling smooth Southern production with his pronounced flow and charged-up delivery.

Mo3 was shot and killed in November 2020 following a car chase in Texas. In April, a second suspect in Mo3’s murder case was arrested and charged.

Check out the latest offering from Mo3 below and sound off with your thoughts on the new track.

Quotable Lyrics
No internet, bitch, I won’t at ’em
Get off the ‘Gram and let’s get active
The only time they get a tag from me? When?
When I toe tag ’em

Pop Smoke’s “Faith (Deluxe)” Turns Up The Energy With Killa-Assisted “Money Man”

Just last week, Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album Faith was released to the world. Unfortunately, the album came with some controversy as some of Pop’s closes friends were upset with the direction of the project. Very few of his fellow drill artists were on the tape, and it seemed like mainstream artists were simply trying to jump on the wave. Recently, Faith received a deluxe version that brought forth some of Pop’s drill sensibilities from the past.

One such song is the effort “Money Man” which features Killa on it. Overall, this is the song OG Pop Smoke fans have been waiting for as we are met with some high-flying production all while Pop Smoke and Killa bring some hungry energy to the mix. Many fans have noted that this is the type of song they wanted all along, and it’s easy to see why that is the case.

BigWalkDog & Big Scarr Rep 1017 On “Vert”

The 1017 imprint was rising to the top but faced an unfortunate setback recently with the incarceration of both Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano, the label’s most prominent stars. However, Gucci Mane’s continued to keep their names alive in the streets while pushing the other members of the roster towards the limelight.

This week, BigWalkDog, the latest signee to Gucci’s label, teamed up with his labelmate Big Scarr for their latest collab, “Vert.” Tackling eerie piano keys and booming 808s, BigWalkDog and Big Scarr deliver a menacing banger detailing their wealth and the women that frequent their lives.

With the latest from BigWalkDog, it looks like we’ll hopefully be receiving a new project from him in the near future. Check out his latest track, “Vert” ft. Big Scarr below.

24kGoldn & HVME Recruit Quavo For New Track “Alright”

Hailing from Spain, HVME first came into prominence earlier this year for his deep house remix of Travis Scott’s “Goosebumps.” Now, the producer has teamed up with 24kGoldn for “Alright” ft Quavo which is set to appear on the forthcoming deluxe version of El Dorado.

Over HVME’s bright production, 24kGoldn comes through with his signature melodic rap flow. He evokes feelings of warmth and romance with boastful bars throughout the record. “Let’s take the jet/ I’m feelin’ fly/ What we gon’ do? I’m in your city for the night,” he raps on the track. Quavo effortlessly glides on the track, all while complimenting 24kGoldn’s delivery.

This fresh track from 24kGoldn is the first off of the forthcoming deluxe edition of El Dorado. The album also has the hits “Mood,” “Love or Lust,” and “Company.”

Meanwhile, Quavo is still riding the high from Culture III, his latest album with Migos
