RiFF RAFF And Cash Motivated Shine On New Song “$PUSSY”

RiFF RAFF has always been one of the more eclectic artists in the game. While his style definitely isn’t for everyone, there is no doubt that he is an icon of pop culture who has delivered some interesting tracks over the years. In 2021, RiFF RAFF is still dropping new songs and on Friday, he dropped off his new banger “$PUSSY” which features Cash Motivated, a former football player.

This song is an undeniable party track that has a hard beat alongside some female vocals playing around in the background. From there, RiFF RAFF and Cash Motivated offer up some braggadocios verses that contain solid flows and some humorous lyrics here and there. Overall, it’s a solid effort from both artists and it is certainly worth a listen.

Danny Brown’s “XXX” Is A Classic

“So after 10 yrs is it safe to say that #XXX is a classic?” Danny Brown asked his 464.2k followers on Twitter today. On the ten-year anniversary of his acclaimed second studio album, which arrived on the iconic A-Trak-led Fool’s Gold indie record label on August 15, 2011, Danny Brown wants his flowers for XXX, and it’s time to give them to him.

XXX housed monstrous tracks that showcased Danny Brown’s immaculate lyrical capabilities, channeled the vocal and topical absurdity that artists like Young Thug have heavily leaned into, and painted a brutally honest portrait of the then-30-year-old Detroit rapper. A decade later, the landscape of Hip-Hop has completely changed, and still, XXX sounds as fresh and intriguing as ever.

Danny Brown’s underground opus featured so many noteworthy tracks — “XXX,” “Detroit187,” and “I Will” to name a few — that it was hard to point to one song as the definitive cut of the album. As a result, on the ten-year anniversary of XXX, we revisit one of the album’s sole tracks that was accompanied by a music video: “Monopoly.”

From dissing his contemporaries for putting out rushed and half-baked projects to once again proving that he’s one of the most creative and vicious songwriters in Hip-Hop, “Monopoly” is the brief reminder that you need to go back and revisit Danny Brown’s certified classic sophomore album XXX

Quotable Lyrics

The Hybrid, smoking on papaya
That give you niggas bronchitis, what you write is all vagina
What I write is Wall of China, nigga, that’s great
Like eighths of Grape Apes gettin’ stuffed in my suitcase
Ready to hit the studio and shit all on your mixtape
Nah, literally, shit all on your mixtape
Wipe with the credits, leave stains on the jewel case

Cassidy Fires Back At Tory Lanez With 7-Minute Diss Track “Plagiarism”

Tory Lanez and Cassidy have been embroiled in a bit of a beef as of late and it is one that has truly baffled fans. It all started when Lanez paid homage to Cassidy during a freestyle. Cassidy didn’t appreciate this as he felt as though Lanez was purposely biting off of him. While Lanez made sure to explain that’s not what happened, Cassidy decided to continue with wrath against Tory, and even dropped a diss track called “Perjury.” The diss track was roasted by fans, and it even garnered a response from Tory who dissed Cassidy during a freestyle.

Booka600 Links Up With Gunna For The Introspective New Single “London”

OTF artist Booka600 has been one of the hardest-working rising rappers out of Chicago this year. Following his Homeless EP last year, Booka600 has been kicking his career into overdrive as of late, starting with his heavy presence on Loyal Bros earlier this year. With seven impressive features on the Lil Durk and OTF compilation project, the Chicago artist made a strong impression with listeners, positioning himself to have a major breakout year.

Since then, Booka600 has kept applying pressure by releasing singles like “Phase” and “Skrt Off,” and now he has returned with his latest effort, a melodic new single with Gunna. Serving as the latest collaboration between the OTF and YSL camps, Booka600 and Gunna’s “London” is a laid-back track that finds both artists reminiscing on their highs and the lows.

YNW Melly Offers Visceral Lyrics On Short New Track “Greensight”

YNW Melly might be locked up but that hasn’t stopped him from putting out new music. His fans are hoping for his release, although in the meantime, he continues to drop new projects all while collaborating with some of the most prominent names in rap. Recently, Melly dropped his new project Just A Matter Of Slime which is a short project that contains some dope songs, including the short effort “Greenlight.”

With this song, we get some trap production that contains a nice ethereal vibe to it. As for the lyrics, however, the song is anything but calm as Melly makes violent metaphors all while offering some braggadocios passages. His singing on the track is solid as we get some more of signature melodies that have made him such a prominent force in hip-hop.

Tech N9ne Opens Up On “I Been Thru A Lot”

Tech N9ne just keeps on blessing us with dope music. Tech has just come through with “I Been Thru A Lot,” an insightful new single. The slow tempo is a nice change-up from Tech’s last single “Take Your Halo.” Much like that single though, Tech is at a very introspective point. It’s possible that at this point in his career, Tech has some things to get off his chest.

“I Been Thru A Lot” has a somber-sounding hook and a subdued instrumental. The beat finds its strength in the percussions, as the synths are too light to really make a large impact. Tech raps in a way that has his voice sounding sharper than ever. Maybe the engineer took a different approach with how they decided to mix the vocals, but it sounds super crisp. Stream “I Been Thru A Lot” and let us know what you think below.

Quotable Lyrics
I know that my energy come off really party and free (Rеally party and free, party and free)
I been broken not enough to be sorry and flee (To bе sorry and flee, sorry and flee)
Even though people think I’m full of folly and glee (Full of folly and glee, folly and glee)
I sit in the bathroom and I cry so nobody can see (Nobody can see me)
