Earth, Wind & Fire is one of the most legendary groups of all time, and over the years, they have been known for cranking out the hits. Despite being older now, they are still making new music, and fans are always excited for the vibes they provide. Recently, the group teamed up with r&b star Lucky Daye for a brand new track called “You Want My Love” and it is an immediate hit.

Quotable Lyrics:

You ain’t gotta say much, I can tell that love means somethin’ to you
And when we ain’t talkin’, your thoughts keep tellin’ you you’re feelin’ me too
So why you keep it bottled up? Open, open, let me show you what I could do

Eric Bellinger Spoils His Lady On “Go Get It”

With summer closing out and cuffing season approaching, Eric Bellinger is setting the tone with his new single, “Go Get It.” The singer emerged on Friday with the smooth record where he details splurging on his woman, from Balenciagas to the highly sought-after Birkin bags. The song’s production is handled by Jazze Pha while Bellinger details providing a luxurious life for the special lady in his life. “Put some double Gs on your feet/ None of that shit compare to your physique,” he sings on the record.

Even after an incredibly prolific year in 2020, Bellinger has continued to deliver music frequently including his collaborative project with Hitmaka, 1-800-HIT-EAZY, as well as singles like “Only Fan” and “Shine On The World.”

Trippie Redd Flexes His Diverse Production Choices With “Molly Heart”

Trippie Redd has been one of the most interesting voices in hip-hop over the last few years, and with each new project, he shows off some interesting production choices. With his brand new album Trip At Knight, Trippie has decided to try his hand at hyperpop, and for the most part, this change in direction is working in his favor. There are a ton of catchy hyperpop bangers on this album, including the intro track “Molly Heart” which immediately takes listeners by surprise.

With this song, we are met with some exciting synth sounds that create a glitchy video game-inspired melody. From there, Trippie’s voice is on point as he delivers soaring vocals and a catchy hook that is made for festival season. This track sets up the album quite nicely, and if you’re a fan of this kind of production, you simply cannot go wrong.

Quotable Lyrics:

That’s lil’ Becky (Yeah) off that molly water (Molly)
Shit get hectic off that molly water
Not no Fetty, don’t know how I’m earthbound, but I’m ready
So much water on me just like a levee

SZA Shares New Song “Joni”

We’ve yet to receive an update from SZA on the release of her follow-up to CTRL. Though she has made a few stellar appearances this year on records with Doja Cat and SAINt JHN, and she dropped “Good Days” in late 2020, there haven’t been any signs that a new album is dropping before 2021 comes to a close. Thankfully, she’s not keeping fans dry as she announced the return of SZA Sundays where she drops random thoughts weekly.

This Sunday, she came through with her latest drop, “Joni.” Accompanied by a choreographed piece she shared to her IG page, SZA floats over gently plucked guitar chords with angelic harmonies. “I been wiped out like 3 times/ Beat dat shit call me nine lives/ I got perfect timing,” she sings as she details her resilience in the face of adversity. “I can’t stop ’til my shit shine.”

Quotable Lyrics
Time waits for nary man
I regret all the things we said in haste
Knowing the golden hour waits for me
Twilight calls my name
Wrist froze, let the ice call my name too loud
Double 00’s by name now

Toosii Shows Loyalty To His GF On “Stay (Dearra)”

Earlier this year, Toosii started making rounds on social media after he professed his love for his girlfriend. Fans have been hounding him over his relationship, claiming that it’s hindering his success. However, the rapper made it clear that his girlfriend is just as much of a priority as his career, if not more. “Mfs basically telling me being in a relationship is hindering my career. Bro f*** this career I love my girl and if the world don’t like that s*** I’ll stop making music,” he wrote.

While the tweet was later deleted, and he said he would never stop making music, he put his money where his mouth is with the release of his new single “Stay (Dearra).” The rapper uses the record to further address fans who pry into his personal life and profess just how much his girlfriend means to him.

M1llionz Is Back On “Regular Bag”

The UK drill scene continues to flourish but only a few rappers have been bubbling up beyond the underground. Man like M1llionz has been steadily delivering bangers over the past year and some change without a full body of work out. However, as fans anticipate his debut project, the rapper continues to pump out bangers that boost his profile such as June’s “Olé (We Are England)” alongside Krept & Konan, S1lva, and Morrison.

Back on his solo tip, the rapper is getting to the cash on his new single, “Regular Bag.” With menacing drill production backing him, M1llionz brings us to his ends as he details the grim reality in a nonchalant, conversational tone.

“Regular Bag” arrives alongside the announcement of his forthcoming project, Provisional License. Peep the project below.

Quotable Lyrics
All of this talk be givin’ me a headache
I’m gonna go home, and leave the rest for ballistics
I be waiting for this parcel all day
How the fuck Royal Mail tellin’ me that I missed it?

Enchanting & Kali Are Running It Up On “Track & Field”

The new 1017 is thriving, even if a few key members are dealing with some unfortunate legal issues. While Gucci Mane has continued to build up the label with new acts, it seems that he’s putting a lot of effort behind Enchanting. She’s been delivering some stellar freestyles as of late, along with a few loose singles but from the looks of it, a new album could be coming shortly.

This week, Enchanting tapped Kali for their brand new record, “Track & Field.” Thumping bass and sinister keys fill up the spacious instrumental as the ladies pop their shit. “I been runnin’ through this bag like it’s track & field/ Only f*ckin’ with them n***as got them racks for real,” Enchanting raps on the hook, reminding the fellas that they need more than just a good personality to be messing with her and Kali.

dvsn & Ty Dolla $ign Connect With YG On “Can’t Tell”

There’s been an influx of joint projects in hip-hop in recent years but that sense of camaraderie hasn’t been as present in the world of R&B. That’s not to say it hasn’t existed but R&B acts don’t seem to face the same fan pressure as rappers do when it comes to creating collaborative efforts. Over the past few weeks, dvsn and Ty Dolla $ign have hinted at a collab album called Cheers To The Memories, beginning with the release of the Mac Miller-assisted, “I Believed It.”

On Friday, the album dropped in its entirety including a stellar new cut alongside YG. dvsn and Ty Dolla $ign connect with the Bompton MC for the smooth record, “Can’t Tell” — a perfect record to close out summer 2021 before the back-to-school season officially begins.

Quotable Lyrics
Pisces gang, my horoscope say we some freaks
I’ma think you cheatin’ if we only fuckin’ once a week

Don’t play with the words, “You stuck with me” ’cause
I’ma hit it raw, expect a baby when you fuck with me

Tion Wayne Taps ArrDee For “Wid It”

It’s only been a few months since the hype around Tion Wayne & Ardee’s massive hit “Body (Remix)” died down after becoming one of TikTok’s biggest sounds. However,  the duo are back to shake the game up, once again. While Tion Wayne gears up to drop his debut album Green With Envy next month, “Wid It,” the new collaboration with Arrdee, may prove to be a standout on the album’s tracklist.

Like its “Body (Remix)” predecessor, “Wid It” succeeds through the charisma and technical ability of the two rappers. The two flows that the rappers alternate are almost theatrical in how expressive they can be, making for a very exciting performance throughout. It seems that the pair have also become more comfortable with each other since their first collab as they go bar for bar and complement each other’s ad-libs during each other’s verses. The instrumental isn’t too flashy but produces the perfect amount of bounciness for the two rappers to fill the empty space.

Green With Envy will release September 17th.
