Kash Doll, Wale, & Eric Bellinger Are Feeling “Single & Happy”

As another Hot Girl Summer comes to a close, Kash Doll is letting people know that she’s “Single & Happy.” The rapper, who hails from Detroit, teamed up with Wale and Eric Bellinger for the vocals on her latest single while Dre Butterz and Sino 313 produced.

The track starts out with Kash Doll herself, letting us know that she’s got a big mansion, big standards, a big vision, and most importantly, no distractions. Bellinger’s soulful voice carries us through the refrain, which is followed by Wale’s ever-slick response to our leading lady.

As always, the “No Lames” singer didn’t hesitate to bring her bad bitch energy, which we’ve also seen on her recent collab with Juicy J, “Like A Pro”. Kash Doll has been staying incredibly booked and busy all throughout 2021; in October she’ll be performing at the Migos Culture III Las Vegas Weekender, and in December you can catch her at Rolling Loud LA.

On top of her busy music career, Kash Doll also landed herself a recurring role on the STARZ series, Black Mafia Family, which is set to premiere on September 26th. She wasn’t lying about that big vision.

Quotable Lyrics

Huh, what could you prove to me?
What could you do for me that I can’t do for me?
Look, I ain’t losin’ you, shit, you losin’ me
Eight bedrooms in the crib, I ain’t losin’ sleep (No)

Ray Vaughn, TDE’s New Signee, Bodies L.A. Leakers Freestyle

As they say, when one door closes, another opens up. Though TDE may be parting ways with the legendary Kendrick Lamar, who will be dropping his final album on the label later this year, they recently inked a deal with Long Beach emcee Ray Vaughn. Wasting little time in making his presence felt, Vaughn hit up the L.A. Leakers to showcase exactly what he’s all about. And rest assured, he’ll be bringing plenty of bars to the table.

Taking to a pair of instrumentals for the occasion — Snoop Dogg’s Dr. Dre-laced “Lay Low” and Beanie Sigel’s Heavy D-produced “Feel It In The Air” — Vaughn unleashes a spirited performance lined with plenty of quotables. “I Jim Carrey my unfortunate events / from the bottom until now I had to build it like suspense,” he raps. “I’m loyal, not barbed wire, never been on the fence / and if pain makes you stronger I’m Hercules with the strength.” And that’s not even a minute and thirty in. He proceeds to black out for another seven minutes, sliding from the West coast to the East coast as he flexes impressive versatility.

Should be looking for a new lyricist to carry that Top Dawg Entertainment banner alongside Reason, look no further than Ray Vaughn.

Quotable Lyrics

I Jim Carrey my unfortunate events
From the bottom until now I had to build it like suspense
I’m loyal, not barbed wire, never been on the fence
And if pain makes you stronger I’m Hercules with the strength

Russ’ “Can’t Let Go,” Continues His 15-Week Single Streak

He has yet to drop an album in 2021, but for the last fifteen weeks, Russ has been making sure that his fans have plenty of new songs to stream. Starting with a reflection on his life in the spotlight with “STATUS” back in May, the New Jersey born star has been consistently giving us hit after hit.

In his typical style, many of Russ’ new releases have emotional overtones, and his latest single is no exception. “Can’t Let Go” tells the story of a man madly in love, and even though things get toxic from time to time, he isn’t ready to say good-bye. ”No matter how much we fight, can’t let go of you. Got this hold on me, got this hold on you,” the 28-year-old sings to his girl.

Of the fifteen tracks the rapper has dropped lately, “3:15 (Breathe)”“Rather Be Myself”, and “When I’m With You” have all faired well with listeners. It seems that even more new music will be arriving from Russ shortly; “Lemme get these hits off real quick…CHOMP 2 droppin before the end of the year,” he tweeted on August 25th.

Quotable Lyrics

Knowin’ damn well that we’re not as misleading

Rich The Kid & Polo G Collab On The “Prada” Remix

When Rich The Kid dropped “Prada” a few weeks back, the 29-year-old made one thing very obvious – he has money, and he loves to spend it. The song found success amongst the rappers fans, so naturally, it was about time to turn up the heat with a remix featuring Chicago’s Polo G.

The original track is short and sweet, with Rich rapping about going from being broke and sleeping on couches to having the keys to his own house and a luxurious Lamborghini. The catchy beat features 808 cowbells, a low-note piano baseline, and rollicking hi-hats.

The remixed track adds on an extra minute of intensity from Polo G as he speaks on shopping at Maison Margiela with no worries about how much he spends, then sends out a warning to anyone who might find themselves on his bad side.

This is the first collaboration to come from the minds of Rich and Polo, but with how undeniably fire this song is, the duo would be remiss to not link up and make another hit in the future. The latter dropped Hall of Fame back in June, but it’s been some time since we’ve heard new music from Rich, which could mean he’s got some heat coming soon.

Quotable Lyrics

1300 the gang, and I put us on the map, come and see what my n*ggas about
We don’t fuck with no lames, bitches don’t come to the telly to fuck, then we kickin’ ’em out
But ’cause Polo my name, she do whatever I want, I just put my whole dick in her mouth
Let that .40 go bang, we put his ass in the grave and they wish they can go dig him out

Jadakiss Drops Off Studio Version Of “Who Shot Ya Freestyle”

Following Jadakiss’ dominant performance on the Verzuz stage, many were quick to praise his addition of the fan-favorite “Who Shot Ya Freestyle.” Though fans are certainly familiar with Jada’s absolute clinic over the Notorious B.I.G classic, the track was a product of the mixtape era, and thus unavailable on streaming platforms. That is, until now.

As of this moment, Jadakiss’ “Who Shot Ya” is widely available on Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, and more — in both studio and live versions. While not quite new, it’s still a nice addition for Jada completionists, and we can only hope that one day the rest of his mixtape catalog will follow suit. Lyrically, he more than lives up to Big’s standard, proving why he can confidently declare himself to be Top 5 dead or alive with little to no contention. “I don’t know you, you ain’t familiar, and I don’t care who shot you cause they ain’t kill ya’,” he raps. “As far as the word play, I’m a son of a bitch, these ni**as is decent, but ain’t none of ’em Kiss.”

Revisit Jada’s legendary “Who Shot Ya Freestyle” now, available on DSPs for the first time.

Quotable Lyrics

I don’t know you, you ain’t familiar
And I don’t care who shot you cause they ain’t kill ya’
As far as the word play, I’m a son of a bitch
These ni**as is decent, but ain’t none of ’em Kiss

Lil Tecca, Chief Keef, & Trippie Redd Link Up On “CHOPPA SHOOT THE LOUDEST”

After postponing the release earlier this month, Lil Tecca has finally shared his latest project with the world – We Love You Tecca 2. The hit maker dropped the mixtape on August 27th, which also happens to be his 19th birthday.

“19! some of my fans really seen me grow up and it’s crazy sometimes. thankyou for supporting me even when I don’t support myself. i love you all, and i have a project dropping at 12,” Tecca shared on Instagram. Fans were pleased to find out that his second mixtape has a 20-song track list that’s full of impressive features like Lil Yachty, NAV, Gunna, and iann dior.

On the tape’s 9th track, our young star teamed up with long-time idol Chief Keef and Trippie Redd to create a braggadocios, upbeat hit. The song starts with Keef telling us that he “ain’t no booty call, bitch”. The trio then goes on to drop bars about what their luxurious lives are like as world famous rap stars, sitting and scandaling while wearing Moncler sandals.

“CHOPPA SHOOT THE LOUDEST” was originally previewed on Tecca’s Instagram live back in February of this year. Over half a year later, the song’s official release is earning the Queens, NY native plenty of love from fans everywhere.

Quotable Lyrics

I done grew up and seen all type of shit happen (Bang, what you do?)
I just spent it all and gettin’ Morgan, I’m captain (Damn, Ryder, skudusku, okay, okay)
Where I’m from, the school don’t call granny, ain’t know I was absent (Gang, granny)
Now I’m at the show, where I got white bitches flashin’ (Gang)

Westside Gunn & Lil Wayne Get Cinematic On “Bash Money”

Westside Gunn has officially dropped off Side A of his new album Hitler Wears Hermes 8: Sincerely Adolf, set to be the climactic installment of the long-running saga. As expected from the Buffalo visionary, his latest project is another strong release brimming with grimy production and stylish violence.

And while the experience is best enjoyed as one cohesive whole like a good movie, it’s hard not to immediately take notice of a Lil Wayne feature, especially when he’s stepping into the Griselda wheelhouse. Westside Gunn sets it off with formidable verse, his stream-of-consciousness flow packed with vivid imagery; it’s long past time to stop sleeping on this man’s lyricism. It’s not his fault he surrounds himself with elite bar-spitters, including Weezy F. Baby, who absolutely bodies this one.

Check out “Bash Money” now, and sound off if you want to hear Lil Wayne spit bars over more production of this nature. Shout out to the game’s illest curator for putting this one together.

Quotable Lyrics

Ah yes, money talk givin n***as little man complex
Four finger rings will limit hand-to-hand contact
