Quotable Lyrics

The goons get the drop on your spot and it get ramshacked
Fresh up out the gutter, where they shootin’ or throwing hands at
Crabs in the barrel, never let ’em fuck your plans up
Mother fuck the cops, them crackers shootin’ us with our hands up

Lil Wayne Stands By DaBaby On Introspective New Single “Lonely”

Despite the backlash that he has received following his controversial Rolling Loud comments, DaBaby is not shying away from the spotlight anytime soon. After initially responding to the homophobic controversy with the contentious music video for “Giving What It’s Supposed To Give,” DaBaby may have actually made things worse with his defiant stand against cancel culture, as he went on to get dropped from several music festivals across the United States and around the world.

However, DaBaby has remained persistent throughout it all, and weeks after appearing on Kanye West’s “Jail Pt. 2,” the Charlotte, North Carolina artist is back with his first new single since “Red Light Green Light” earlier this summer.

After teasing that he would be dropping a single “featuring the best rapper alive,” DaBaby delivered “Lonely,” a bleak, but thumping new collaboration with Lil Wayne. Throughout the first two verses, DaBaby deconstructs his current mental state, touching on both his brother’s death last November and his industry-wide cancellation earlier this year. Lil Wayne then comes through with a quick, tongue-twisting verse that continues his incredible feature run this year.

Give DaBaby and Lil Wayne’s “Lonely” a listen below, and let us know how you feel about it in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics

I saw my big brother laid out with his brains blowed out
It’s been catchin’ up to me
Shit, how would you act if your bro took his life?
And you know that you rappin’ like all of these niggas
And you don’t even trap and you livin’ your life
The best you ever had just to see it come crashin’ and burnin’

JayDaYoungan Is Back At It With “All Rise”

Earlier this summer, JayDaYoungan dropped his 13-track project 23 Is Back, and the 28-minute effort boasted tracks like “ZaZa,” “What’s Wrong With You,” Looking For You,” and “Confidential Decisions.”

Three months later, the Louisiana rapper is back with more heat, and like many of the songs from 23 Is Back, his latest release is also a brief, yet spirited effort. Titled “All Rise,” JayDaYoungan’s new single is a punchy track that’s produced by Pooh On The Beat.

Given the song’s extremely brief runtime of just 1.5 minutes, there’s only room on “All Rise” for JayDaYoungan to perform one verse and run through his hook twice, and given the infectious energy of the track, it feels almost too brief.

Nevertheless, if you’re a fan of short, but hard-hitting tracks, go ahead and give JayDaYoungan’s latest single a listen by watching the official music video for “All Rise” below. Also, fans of JayDaYoungan can check out his entry in HNHH’s ongoing In My Bag interview series here.

Quotable Lyrics

Since you trippin’, bitch, we bustin’ yo’ head
He was dissin’, caught ’em slippin’, now he stuck wit’ no legs
Fuck his kneecap when the heat clap, aim at his forehead
And when the beef done, we steppin’ like we tryna protest

North Texas-born rapper Tay Money has her official debut studio album coming later this year and she’s letting all her fans know that she’s confidently going to take over the game once it’s out, understanding “The Assignment” with her latest single release.

After weeks of teasing the record on social media, the 28-year-old rising star has come through with “The Assignment.” It was only a matter of time before somebody came and made a viral track out of this saying, and Tay Money managed to do it first… Duh!

Chris Brown Assists Rauw Alejandro & Rvssian On “Nostálgico”

The Latin music market continues to have a grip on the global sound of music. These days, it’s become more and more common to see many stars from Latin America dominate the radiowaves and link up alongside the biggest artists in the U.S.

Over the weekend, Chris Brown got fans excited for a crossover single into the Latin domain when he previewed a new single alongside Rauw Alejandro. Now, Alejandro slid through alongside Rvssian for their new collaboration alongside Chris Brown titled, “Nostálgico.” The upbeat, pop production is taken to new heights with infectious melodies provided by Rauw Alejandro and Breezy. Alejandro previously cited Brown as a musical inspiration so there’s no doubt that this is a big moment in his career.

Aside from “Nostálgico,” Chris Brown also dropped his unreleased verse on Kanye West’s “New Again” which he was rather upset over being excluded from DONDA.

Peep the song below.

Quotable Lyrics
I should’ve dropped you off
Memories would repeat every weekend like this before
You do me when you get bored
It ain’t no problem, it’s cool to do it tonight

Quotable Lyrics
Blessings came, circlin’ over my head, I see ’em hoverin’
Praise to Allah, gazin’ up at the stars, I know He cover me

G-Eazy Lives By The Rockstar Mantra On “The Announcement”

G-Eazy is back in album mode. Though we aren’t too far removed from the release of his last album, Everything’s Strange Here, the Oakland rapper has been preparing a sequel for his 2014 major-label debut. Today, he announced These Things Happen Pt. 2 is officially on the way following by dropping “The Announcement.” The rapper indulges in the hedonistic lifestyle of a superstar over sinisterly trippy production as he repeats the age-old mantra “Sex, drugs, rock-n-roll” on the hook.

The song follows the release of “Tumblr Girls Pt. 2.” “This album is a full circle journey from where we started to where we are now. Grateful and appreciative for everyone who’s been along for the ride,” he wrote on Instagram at the time of its release.

These Things Happen Pt. 2 drops on September 24th.

Quotable Lyrics
When it’s strange
I feel like a demon out my cage
I feel like a heathen in my ways
Cut the check, I’m Belichick, I’m runnin’ plays
‘Cause I need rings for my performance

AKTHESAVIOR Drops Off “2 Chains Freestyle”

The Underachievers have been rather quiet over the course of the year. In 2020, they released the single “Giannis” — one of a few loose singles they’ve dropped since Lords Of Flatbush 3 dropped in 2019. Still, they’ve been putting in work as solo artist during their off-time which hopefully leads to the release of a brand new project before the year comes to an end.

This week, AKTHESAVIOR served up a brand new freestyle to hold fans over until a new project drops. He released, “2 Chains Freestyle” on Soundcloud which finds him tackling glossy Brooklyn drill production with a vicious flow.

The latest release from AKTHESAVIOR comes two months after he dropped off “Shotta Flow (Freestyle).”
