Money Man Gets To The Bag On “Lil Feature”

The rap game is all about consistency, especially for independent artists. While rappers and creatives have more control over their art more than ever before, they also benefit from platforms like YouTube and Soundcloud where music can be freely uploaded into the world. This, of course, isn’t anything new but very few artists are flooding the streets weekly with new music like Money Man.

The ATL rapper has hardly let a week go past this year without a new offering. This week, he slid through with a brand new single titled, “Lil Feature.” Honing into the ominous, muddy production, and syrupy auto-tuned flows, Money Man delivers your “get money” anthem for this week, referencing his business acumen and his vegan-friendly lifestyle.

G-Eazy Spits Bars On OG Maco-Assisted Freestyle “Let It Be”

On Friday, September 24th, G-Eazy will be coming through with his brand new album These Things Happen Too and fans are nothing short of excited. It’s been a while since the artist has dropped a full-length project and fans are hoping for the best. To help promote this new offering, G-Eazy came through with a new freestyle over the weekend called “Let It Be” which also features OG Maco.

The song clocks in at over 4 minutes in length and it is packed with content as G-Eazy pens poetic bars about his life and the things he’s been through on the road. You can’t help but be invested in what he’s saying as the storytelling is immaculate. As for OG Maco, he handles the hook with some sung lyrics that fit in nicely with the themes portrayed by G-Eazy.

Most of the world is fast asleep while we work all these night shifts
Scars I could never hide, my vampire rises
Blood, thirsty long nights, I indulge in my vices
But wish somebody would have told me how lonely this life gets

Mozzy & Celly Ru Join Forces On “Step Brothers”

It feels like Mozzy’s beginning to get the flowers he deserves these days. That comes after several years of delivering some of the hardest rap records to emerge out of the West Coast. Whether collaborative or not, Mozzy’s output has been consistent as ever but Friday’s release of Untreated Trauma clearly earned him some new fans.

The 10-song project includes collabs alongside names like Kalan.FrFr, EST Gee, and Babyface Ray. However, there’s also a few artists from Mozzy’s immediate circle that shine. Celly Ru, who Mozzy’s worked with in the past, comes through with the assist on the chilling banger, “Step Brothers.” The two rappers share depictions of the streets over grim and hypnotic piano loops.

Check out the highlight off of Mozzy’s new album below.

YBN Nahmir Experiments With A New Flow On “Militant”

YBN Nahmir has been catching a lot of flack as of late, especially after releasing the track “Soul Train,” which was considered the greatest misstep of his career. Nahmir has been trying to get over the song for a while now, and on Saturday night, he came through with a brand new effort called “Militant” which sees the rapper try his hand at the Detroit flow that has become so popular over the last couple of years.

With this song, we get a skeletal beat that features some booming bass that helps enhance the violent lyrics that Nahmir raps. His flow contains that offbeat Flint style, and it’s apparent that he is trying to make it all work as he experiments with this style for the very first time.

Ebhoni Shares Remix Of Viral Hit “Gyalis”

Summer 2021 had a few anthems that defined the season but none of them hit quite like Capella Grey’s hit record, “Gyalis.” The song has catapulted to fame in the past few weeks, running through club circuits and maintaining a steady rotation on satellite radio and DSP playlists. Of course, the success of the song has largely benefited from the number of remixes that have been released. A few weeks back, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie delivered a remix to the record while Tory Lanez doubled down as the “remix killa” when he dropped his version.

Now, Ebhoni, who recently dropped off Good Dick & Weed, returned with her rendition of the remix titled, “Goodaz.” The auto-tuned-tinged melodies merge with her R&B stylings for a smooth take on the viral hit.

Curren$y & Kino Beats Team Up On “Under The Moon”

There are few rappers out there who are putting in work like Curren$y. The New Orleans MC has continued to put out quality projects at a rapid pace over the past 10 years without really taking a break. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like he has any intention of trying to space out releases as he already dropped three projects before September came around. On Friday, he and Kino Beats shared their latest collaborative projects, Matching Rolexes.

One of the many highlights of the project is “Under The Moon.” Kino Beats pairs up a dreamy vocal sample with a shredding guitar that perfectly fits Spitta’s smoked-out flow.

Spitta already has several albums lined up before the years come to an end. Next up is Still Stoned Ocean which is due out on October 8th, followed by Regatta with Harry Fraud.

Kuttem Reese Brings The Energy On Fast-Paced Single “Stepping By My Lonely”

Kuttem Reese has been putting in work ever since dropping his very first single back in 2020. The Orlando, Florida artist has been making quite the impression on fans, and he has even been able to get collaborations with some of the biggest artists in the world. For instance, Reese teamed up with the likes of Lil Durk, Chief Keef, and Fredo Bang just a few months ago on the song “Kutt Dat Boy.” Now, the artist has returned with a new song called “Stepping By My Lonely” which brings even more energy to the table.

Throughout the song, we get a fast-paced instrumental filled with rattling hi-hats and synths that call for the artist to match the blistering tempo. Reese does a great job keeping up with the beat as he offers fast and energetic flows that will immediately have you wanting to rush to the gym. The lyrics are violent and braggadocios, although it’s an energy that goes well with the production.

Lil Nas X Gets Melancholic On “Montero” Standout “Life After Salem”

Lil Nas X has proven himself to be an extremely capable hitmaker over the last few years, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. After coming through with “Old Town Road” back in 2019, Lil Nas X has continued his ascent in the industry, and on Friday, he came through with his debut album MONTERO which is packed with a plethora of catchy songs. While most tracks are upbeat, there are a few lowkey tracks here, including “Life After Salem” which has a grunge-rock feel to it.

Throughout the song, Lil Nas X hits us with a melancholic flow which sees the artist flexing his singing voice. From there, he continues to offer some sad lyrics while the chord progressions in the back create some desperate tension. The track is then broken up by two guitar solos that make this one of the more unique efforts on the album.

K Camp Shares New Single “Stars Aligned Freestyle”

K Camp has been on one of the most impressive grinds in the past few years. Though he was once a promising star on a major label, it turned out that leaving his label situation was one of the best moves he’s made in his career. Fans have benefited from his output while K Camp has been moving at his own pace which is quite rapidly these days.

K Camp already blessed fans with tons of music this month including last month’s Float but he’s returned with even more vibes. This week, the rapper unleashed his latest offering, “Stars Aligned Freestyle” where he effortlessly glides over moody production, reflecting on his perseverance in the face of adversity.

Soulja Boy Is On A Vibe On “Do My Lil Dance”

Soulja Boy is everywhere these days. The rapper’s continued to make waves in the past year, specifically following the success of “She Make It Clap.” The impromptu freestyle transformed into one of the biggest TikTok trends and earned Soulja another #1 record on the Billboard charts. In the midst of all of this, he’s found himself in public feuds that are often one-sided and has flooded the streets with new music at every corner.

The rapper doesn’t appear to have any intention of slowing down, either. Today, the rapper quietly emerged with a new single titled, “Do My Lil Dance.” The cover art for the single reads “Soulja Season” which might indicate that another album is on the way before the year’s end.
