Alkaline Delivers His New Single “Fell Off”

It feels like we’ve gone a few months since Alkaline blessed fans with some new music. The dancehall star did bless us before the summer came with the release of his latest project, Top Prize. The project has continued to bubble through the dancehall scene, blessing us with several records that have stayed on rotation like “Hostage” and “Ah.”

The artist returned this week with some brand new heat with the release of his latest single, “Sell Off.” The slow-burning record finds Alkaline popping his sh*t in a manner that fans have found similar to Skillibeng. A few fans have suspected that Alkaline is mocking the “Crocodile Teeth” artist, though Alkaline hasn’t confirmed or denied that to be true.

Nonethless, the latest from Alkaline is a refreshing new single that brings glossy trap sounds to the world of dancehall effortlessly.

Quotable Lyrics
Seen, check out my swag, yuh know when yah win
Anything me touch, any style weh man bring dat sell off

DaBoii & Cash Kidd Deliver Haunting New Banger “Punishment”

The SOB x RBE crew has disbanded but they continue to deliver some of the most exciting music out of the West Coast as solo artists. DaBoii, specifically, has been dumping out some solid projects within the past year. Still, there’s a heavy stream of loose records that have been emerging out of his vault including this week’s “Punishment.” The rapper connects with Cash Kidd for his new record where they lace up the haunting production with cleverly put-together bars with a vicious punch. “Ain’t gon’ lie, you gon’ catch ’em bullets, too, I catch you runnin’ with ’em/ I just put my opp in a scope, I got a tunnel vision,” DaBoii raps on the record. Cash Kidd’s conversational flow adds a calming effect to the intensity of DaBoii, bouncing between hilarious sexually-charged bars and menacing threats.

Guap Tarantino & Lil Uzi Vert Link Up For “Of Course”

It seems that Lil Uzi Vert’s vault continues to get hacked. Whether he shares a new snippet of music or not, loose singles and collaborations that he’s done over the years manage to make their way onto the Internet without an official release date ever set. Last year, Guap Tarantino previewed a new song with Lil Uzi Vert and fans have been longing for its release.

Guap saved the single for his new project Quarantino 2 — a new compilation project highlighting the raw talent of the YFBG camp. “Of Course” finds Guap and Lil Uzi Vert swapping verses over muddy production, detailing their adoration for fast cars, women, and money.

Quarantino 2 includes appearances from AP The Psyko, 311Taker, King Kobi, Dino YFBG, and more.

Duke Deuce Drops “Every Chance I Get” Freestyle

Earlier this year, when Duke Deuce sat down with HotNewHipHop to talk about everything from his first bars to his first show to his zodiac sign for our Rise & Grind series, he left us with a stern message.

“I’m on they a**. Foot on their neck. Pedal to the metal, I’m on they a**, I’m not stopping. I was already working on new music … I got my own marijuana strain about to hit the streets. I’m on they a**. I’m not playing. Let’s get it.”

The “New Purveyor of Crunk Music” told us in March that he was hammer down and he meant it. And after getting shot at while on Instagram Live less than a week ago, the “WTF!” rapper is already back with this “Every Chance I Get” freestyle, an installation in Revolt‘s #OFFTOP series.

Rapping over DJ Khaled’s “Every Chance I Get” beat which originally featured The Voice of the Heroes collaborators Lil Baby and Lil Durk, Duke Deuce delivered just over a minute of hard raps while wearing a Purple Rain tee and a black bandana around his head. With some dark lighting and aggressive ad-libs to go along with it, the Memphis rapper did exactly what he was supposed to and gave us a freestyle we’ll be running back with regularity.

Quotable Lyrics

Watchin’ these rap n**** videos and they startin’ to look like us
If they hatin’ just off fame imagine when you get the bucks
I’m a M-E-M-P-H-I-S n**** ’til I D-I-E

Lil Moe 6Blocka Takes It To “8Block”

Drill continues to be dominating the globe, from Ghana to New York City. But, it’s still the language of Chicago in every way. We’ve seen a new generation of drill rappers from the Chi emerge. Of course, the late King Von was on pace to be leading the way for them. However, Lil Moe 6Blocka has been putting in serious work this year and he continues to keep it pushing with every single release.

This week, the rapper slid through with his latest drop, “8Block.” Backed by eerie, sinister drill production, the rapper makes it clear that he is not the one to be played with. “N***as be hidin’, they don’t want know smoke with us,” he raps on the record.

This week, the rapper returned with a brand new single titled, “Don’t Play” ft. Shordie Shordie. July Da Producer handles the smooth production while Shordie Shordie and Loui go through the motions of wanting their old thing back.
