Soulja Boy Assists S3nsi Molly On “50 Shades”

Soulja Boy has been flooding the music with new music this year. He’s delivered at least three projects so far, on top of the numerous loose singles that have scattered the timeline. For Soulja, his ability to make hit records is damn-near effortless. He freestyle on Twitch and then had two smash records with “She Make It Clap” and “Rick N Morty” which later was used for Adult Swim promo.

Interestingly enough, most of his releases have been solo cuts. However, he’s been collaborating even more recently. This week, he teamed up with S3nsi Molly for her new record, “50 Shades” where they tackle flute-laden production with braggadocious bars.

Check out the latest from S3nsi Molly below and sound off with you thoughts on the song int he comments.

Walkin’ in the kitchen, turnin’ on the stove

Popcaan Delivers Uplifting New Single “Superior”

What can’t Popcaan do? There’s a reason why he’s one of the most sought-after dancehall artists right now. He’s able to easily flip the switch from colorful bangers that are meant to heat up the dancefloor to passionate reflections of the state of the world. Pop’s continued to offer new music on a regular basis and this week, the OVO signee shared his latest offering, “Superior.” With a downtempo beat, Popcaan details his resilience in the face of adversity and keeping his head high during rough times.

Headie One Flips Busta Rhymes On “Cry”

Ever since Headie One emerged from jail last year, he’s been in go-mode. It was evident when he connected with Drake for “Only One Freestyle” which helped propel the hype surrounding his album, Edna. The rapper’s maintained a strong footing on UK’s drill scene over the years but his latest offerings have expanded the sound and shaped it into something of his own.

Over the past few months, Headie has been slowly unveiling new singles. “2 Chains” and “Pound Signs” were immediate bangers that had everyone excited for his next move.

Fortunately, he didn’t let the year pass without dropping a follow-up to Edna. Too Loyal For My Own Good puts the focus back on Headie One as he weaves through the 10-track effort with wicked flows. On “Cry,” the rapper brings some funky vibes to the table as he flips Busta Rhymes’ “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See.”

Tone Stith & Maeta Can’t Get Over Their Exes On “Something In The Water”

Earlier this year, Tone Stith released his EP, FWM. In the months since, he’s been cooking up a new project titled, Still FWM, and also just released a new single in collaboration with Maeta.

On “Something In The Water,” the two R&B vocalists sing about love lost. Stith pours back shots while dealing with heartbreak, refusing to let his pain shine through, while Maeta ponders whether she should reconcile with her ex, or move on to someone new.

Later this fall, both Stith and Maeta will be headed out on tour with Grammy and Oscar award winning artist, H.E.R., so on top of their new single, they clearly have a lot to be excited about.

Back in 2017, then-22-year-old Stith made waves across the internet when Drake was spotted hanging out at one of his tour rehearsals. Drizzy’s been known to have an eye for spotting new talent, so when the two started chumming it up, people took notice.

Maeta has also been putting in considerable work as of late. In April she released an EP called Habits, and in the summer she reissued it, this time as a remix focused project.

Kent Jones Just Dropped Off Latest Single “Bout That” Ft. Rick Ross

With their new single “Bout That”, Kent Jones and Rick Ross bask in their bossed-up lifestyles as Jones reflects on his journey from rags to riches. The song was released on all streaming platforms just a few days ago and was produced by Jones himself. On the track, Jones and Rozay detail what it was like to start from the bottom, opening with an interpolation of lyrics from Charlie Boy’s “I Look Good”.

“On my momma, on my hood/I get high, I look good,” Jones says. “Throw your bag and I keep that b*tch full/All about mine and I got it out the mud/’Cause I’m bout that.”

Following Rozay’s prideful ode to his life of luxury, Jones salutes the time it took to get there, underscoring exactly how far he’s come since he first started out. “I remember all them days we couldn’t eat proper,” Jones says. “Ramen noodles on the stove, now we eatin’ pasta/Never hate on nobody, but don’t wait on nobody/Firecrackers, I don’t give a f*ck, we in the streets poppin’.”

“Bout That” is a catchy track with bounce to it, laced with equal-parts pride and gratitude. The single is an upbeat addition to the two artists’ respective collections of singles and collaborations released just this year, and will likely garner traction in similar fashion.

Northside Benji Is On The Move With New Single “Keep Runnin'”

Toronto’s having a moment right now that’s never been seen before in hip-hop history. Beyond the likes of Drake and Tory Lanez, the budding stars emerging out of the city are delivering raw and unadulterated bars that reflect the realities of the city. It’s the melodies that can be attributed to the aforementioned ex-pats, as well as The Weeknd, but there are a few key players in the city who’ve played a pivotal role in shaping the city’s sound like Northside Benji.

2020 was a rather quiet year for Northside Benji. While he was still riding high off of the Frienemy EP, fans have been longing for his official follow-up to 2018’s Caviar Dreams. After teaming up with DJ Charlie B for “30, 000 ft.,” the rapper came through with his latest single, “Keep Runnin'” this week.

Hopefully, we get an album before the year comes to an end. Check out his new single below.

Quotable Lyrics
Goyard hold hundreds
I got these hundreds comin’, so abundant
Spend it to get it, Benji’s like it’s nothin’
He hit it, we’ll get a bag just like it’s nothin’
