Fivio Foreign Hits The UK In New “London Freestyle”

It’s been a huge year for Fivio Foreign. Following a minor setback in 2021, he emerged victorious with his appearance on Kanye West’s Donda. Ultimately, this sparked the beginning of their creative partnership and turned Fivio into one of the hottest artists of the year.

Following the release of The B.I.B.L.E, Fivio’s back in action with his new “London Freestyle.” It’s a full circle moment that finds Fivio laying down bars over UK drill production, as he’s done, while the video documents his recent journey to London including cameos from Jack Harlow and Alicia Keys.

Prior to the release of “London Freestyle,” Fivio Foreign teased a new single that samples Mase’s “Tell Me What You Want.” However, it seems like the friction between the two might prevent the song from dropping.

Nicki Minaj Brings Out Roman For Extended Version Of “Super Freaky Girl”

It seems like Nicki Minaj is fully committed to dropping her new album this year. Since the top of 2022, she’s blessed fans with a slew of new music including two collabs with Lil Baby and the Fivio Foreign-assisted, “We Goin Up.” Over the past few months, she’s ramped up the anticipation for the Rick James-sampled, “Super Freaky Girl,” which arrived on Friday. Today, she blessed fans with an extended version including a new verse from her famed alter ego, Roman. “Super Freaky Girl (Roman Remix)” brings a fiery double-timed verse from Nicki as she brags about her mixtape sales and shouts out the YMCMB dynasty.

Later this month, Nicki Minaj will be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs for breaking “barriers for women in hip-hop with her versatility and creative artistry.”

“She has shifted the music industry and cemented her status as a global superstar with her crossover appeal, genre-defying style and continuing to be unapologetically ‘Nicki’,” said Bruce Gillmer, president of music, music talent, programming and events, Paramount+.

And that’s word to Dricki, bitch, it could get sticky

The CMG camp is coming out on top this year. After years of building up his roster, Yo Gotti’s introduced a slew of incredible rappers on his label who are defining the sounds of the South right now. Glizzock details the unmatched hustle that took him from the streets to stages across the globe, including Europe, where he filmed the music video for his new single.

Prior to the release of “From Nothin,” the Memphis rapper blessed fans with his single, “Diapers.” It looks like we might be able to expect even more music from Glock before the year ends.

Pusha T Joins Symba On “Never End Up Broke Pt. 2”

Symba is easily one of the most exciting rappers right now with a plethora of major co-signs to back him. Over the past few months, he’s gone viral off of his freestyles, and singles. Earlier this year, he blessed fans with “Never End Up Broke,” and now, he’s returned with a sequel featuring one of Virginia’s finest.

“Never End Up Broke Pt. 2” dropped over the weekend, which finds Symba colliding with Pusha T for the sequel. Push slides through with flashes of his early years and his motives to dive into the streets. The song includes two of Symba’s original verses but Push’s inclusion on the sequel elevates the song even further.

Hopefully, we’ll hear more from Pusha T and Symba in the future.

Quotable Lyrics:

Our mutual friend said you’d been callin’
And said that you’re sorry and said that you wish we could talk
Well, guess what? You’re about seven months late
Our mutual friend don’t know that you’re too self-serving
But I do and that’s why your words don’t mean shit
And guess what? This heartbreak morphed into hate

Fabolous Takes On An Amerie Sample On “1Thing Freestyle”

Could a new project from Fabolous be on the way? The Brooklyn rapper hasn’t released a full body of work since 2019’s Summertime Shootout 3 but the influx of freestyles and singles he’s released in recent times is a strong indication that he’s cooking something up in the studio these days. Ober the past few months, he’s unveiled a handful of records including Friday’s “Say Less” ft. French Montana.

Around the same time his new collab with French hit DSPs, he also quietly unveiled a new freestyle online. The rapper gets in his bag on this one as he flexes his sharp lyrical prowess.

It might have been a minute since we’ve received a body of work from Fab but his recent singles are a strong indication that he hasn’t lost his creative spark.
