Air Jordan 1 Low “Born To Fly” Gets Another New Colorway

One of the best variations of the Air Jordan 1 has always been the Air Jordan 1 Low. Overall, this is a fantastic offering that is ideal for the Summer season. Once you break out the shorts, low-tops and boat shoes are usually the move. Consequently, the Jordan 1 Low sees a huge surge in popularity and sales. This new colorway does not have a specific name. Instead, it is being given the same “Born To Fly” nomenclature as the previous model. Firstly, this shoe predominantly has a white leather upper. From the overlays to the side panels, we get a truly nice look. Secondly, a nice shade of blue is placed on the toe box as well as the inner lining of the sneaker. Lastly, the Nike swoosh here has a flaming look to it that also incorporates some yellow. When you put all of these elements together, you get a sneaker that is definitely going to turn some heads, in a good way.

Unfortunately, this shoe does not have a release date or a price attached to it. That said, you can expect something like this to be released closer to the summer months. Air Jordan 7 “White Infrared” Officially Unveiled

When Michael Jordan won his second NBA title, against the Portland Trail Blazers, he was wearing the Air Jordan 7. Subsequently, he brought the shoe with him to Barcelona for the 1992 Summer Olympics. Overall, the shoe became iconic thanks to the Olympic Games. There were plenty of great color schemes to come out of that time. Over the years, these offerings have been hit with some fantastic retros. Moreover, in 2022, this shoe celebrated its 30th anniversary, which led to some great releases.

In 2023, it seems as though the Air Jordan 7 is going to continue its ascent. The brand has plans for a whole plethora of new color schemes. Consequently, there have been a lot of teasers as of late. This is especially true as the summer releases get closer and closer. Recently, we even got the official images for this “White Infrared” Jordan 7, seen below. As you can immediately tell, this is meant to be a new take on the Air Jordan 6 colorway of the exact same name.

The Air Jordan 6 model is well-established at this point. However, Jumpman has always taken iconic color schemes from other shoes and transplanted them onto silhouettes of their choice. Firstly, this Air Jordan 7 comes equipped with a mostly white leather upper. Secondly, we get some infrared highlights on the midsole and the Jumpman logo. Lastly, black is found around the tongue for good measure. The images you see here are grade school sizes, however, it should be noted that these will be coming out for adults.

As for the release date, you will have to wait a couple of more months for these. They are expected to be released as of June 30th for a price of $200 USD. Gucci Unveils $120K Adidas Sneaker Trunk

Gucci is one of the biggest brands in the designer world. Although they have certainly undergone some controversies, they are still revered all over the world. The Italian fashion house has even been the subject of full-length feature films with Lady Gaga and Adam Driver. Overall, the brand will not be going away anytime soon. Even if you are not a fan of high fashion, there is nothing you can do about their chokehold on the luxury world. After all these years, they know how to keep things fresh.

For instance, Gucci recently teamed up with Adidas for yet another capsule. This is the second collection they have dropped, and it just so happens to have been released this week. If you are a sneakerhead, there were plenty of options to choose from. The Adidas Gazelle and Adidas ZX 8000 were heavily represented here. According to Complex, this massive unit will cost you a whopping $120K. The trunk is massive as it contains a hard outer shell that is painted blue and white. Moreover, there is Gucci and Adidas branding throughout. Don’t worry though, you’re not just getting a trunk. You are also getting 12 pairs of shoes within this trunk. Every single pair is a unique colorway of the Gucci x Adidas Gazelle collaboration. Furthermore, it should be noted that the colorways here are a mix of the first capsule and the second one.

The trunk is what is called “made to order” which means you will need to contact Gucci or Adidas directly if you want it. When it comes to the greatest Jumpman silhouettes ever, the Air Jordan 2 Low is rarely mentioned, if at all. Overall, its older brother, the Air Jordan 2, has long been one of the darkhorses in the brand. This is an unfortunate reality, however, it is easy to see how this happened. Austin Reaves To Get His Own Signature Shoe: First Look

Austin Reaves has been playing exceptionally well for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Although he is just a role player, Reaves has been spoken highly of by LeBron James and others. He is one of those guys who can turn it on at any time. Moreover, he is giving some Lakers fans flashes of Alex Caruso. Although, Reaves will have to help this team win a title if he wants to be considered on that level. Either way, the Lakers are rolling right now, and Reaves has been a huge reason for that success.

Subsequently, it appears as though Reaves is getting rewarded for his success. Of course, a new contract is coming soon, however, we are talking about something much different. According to Nick DePaula of ESPN, Austin Reaves will now be getting his very own signature shoe. Overall, this is an incredible achievement for any player. As you can expect though, Reaves isn’t getting his own shoe with Nike, Adidas, or Jumpman. Instead, his shoe will be with a Chinese brand called Rigorer.

As DePaula reports, Reaves has actually been with Rigorer since last season. However, he is set to release this new signature model in the Summertime. In the tweet above, you can see that this shoe is called the Rigorer AR1. Additionally, the very first color scheme will be black with purple and gold mixed in throughout. Of course, this is simply a reference to the Los Angeles Lakers. We’re sure there will be plenty of other colorways to be released, however, this is all we have for the time being.

While some may argue that Austin Reaves is not worthy of a signature shoe, Rigorer would have to beg to differ. He is their first NBA endorsement, which means they had to give him his own model. CLOT x Nike Cortez “Forrest Gump” Officially Unveiled

If you are a big fan of the Nike Cortez, then unfortunately, the last few years has been fairly dry. Overall, this is a staple of the Nike brand. However, they haven’t done a lot of new things with the sneaker. Instead, this shoe is thought of as one of those staples that you shouldn’t really touch. That said, CLOT and Nike have been changing the tide in terms of Nike Cortez innovation. CLOT’s Edison Chen is a huge fan of this silhouette, and he has wanted to offer his take on it. Over the last few months, we have seen a white and black colorway, as well as a black and yellow offering. Now, however, Chen and his CLOT brand are coming through with a white, blue, and red model reminiscent of the OG colorway. And yes, this model is going to be called “Forrest Gump.”
