Air Jordan 7 “White Infrared” Officially Unveiled

When Michael Jordan won his second NBA title, against the Portland Trail Blazers, he was wearing the Air Jordan 7. Subsequently, he brought the shoe with him to Barcelona for the 1992 Summer Olympics. Overall, the shoe became iconic thanks to the Olympic Games. There were plenty of great color schemes to come out of that time. Over the years, these offerings have been hit with some fantastic retros. Moreover, in 2022, this shoe celebrated its 30th anniversary, which led to some great releases.

In 2023, it seems as though the Air Jordan 7 is going to continue its ascent. The brand has plans for a whole plethora of new color schemes. Consequently, there have been a lot of teasers as of late. This is especially true as the summer releases get closer and closer. Recently, we even got the official images for this “White Infrared” Jordan 7, seen below. As you can immediately tell, this is meant to be a new take on the Air Jordan 6 colorway of the exact same name.

The Air Jordan 6 model is well-established at this point. However, Jumpman has always taken iconic color schemes from other shoes and transplanted them onto silhouettes of their choice. Firstly, this Air Jordan 7 comes equipped with a mostly white leather upper. Secondly, we get some infrared highlights on the midsole and the Jumpman logo. Lastly, black is found around the tongue for good measure. The images you see here are grade school sizes, however, it should be noted that these will be coming out for adults.

As for the release date, you will have to wait a couple of more months for these. They are expected to be released as of June 30th for a price of $200 USD.
