Over the next year or so, fans can expect a whole range of colorways to make their way to the market. For the most part, a lot of offerings have already been done. However, this is a shoe that opens itself up to unlimited possibilities.

Moreover, there are plenty of great silhouettes outside of the Air Jordan 1. One of them is none other than the Air Jordan 3. This is a shoe that is best characterized by its gorgeous elephant print aesthetics. These overlays are iconic when it comes to the Air Jordan 3, and sometimes, Jordan Brand likes to mix it up. For instance, you can find the elephant print aesthetic on other silhouettes. Subsequently, Jumpman will be bringing that design idea to none other than the Jordan 1.

Adidas Blames Kanye West Amid Potential Losses

Adidas has been having a bit of a problem as of late, especially as it pertains to Kanye West and Yeezy. Firstly, we must set the stage in order to explain the problem correctly. It all began many months ago as Ye was looking to shed himself off his Adidas deal. Overall, his methods of doing so were highly debated, and for the most part, people did not care for them. His anti-Semitic rants were uncalled for, and it put the sneaker brand in a bad position. Ultimately, they decided to get rid of Kanye, once and for all.

However, the brand opened up a can of worms by noting that they will continue to sell Ye’s designs, albeit with new branding. Now, they have a huge branding conundrum on their hands, and there is no telling if fans will like to purchase these shoes without “Yeezy” written on them. Furthermore, Adidas was left with a massive inventory of Yeezy sneakers that they aren’t sure what to do with. In fact, they have $534 million worth of them.

Adidas Has A Problem

According to TMZ, the three-stripes brand is now very concerned about this. During a recent call, the brand noted that it could lose upwards of $1.3 billion in 2023 alone. Mostly, they are putting the blame squarely on the shoulders of Kanye. Without him, they have lost a ton of momentum. Consequently, Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden is calling this a transitional year for the company. While this may be the case, it is definitely not off to a good start.

Overall, this is a bad situation for Adidas, albeit one that they had very little agency over. With Ye acting erratically, they needed to cut ties. Now, however, Adidas must find a new way to attract consumers, that does not involve Yeezy. Let us know what you think about this situation, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world.

LeBron James’ “First Game” Nike Air Zoom Generation Set To Return

LeBron is easily one of the two best players in the history of the entire NBA. It is easy to say that now because James just broke the record for most points in NBA history. Overall, this is a truly stunning achievement that needs to be celebrated by everyone. Moreover, it is impossible to diminish anything James has done for the game of basketball. Once you have a record like this, people need to start respecting you as one of the GOATs. Hopefully, fans are now finally getting that message.

As for his sneaker output, there is no doubt that this is also a legendary part of his story. Firstly, LeBron burst onto the scene with the Nike Air Zoom Generation. This was his first signature shoe, however, it didn’t have his name in the nomenclature. Eventually, with the Nike LeBron 2 and subsequent models, his name became more present. Either way, with James breaking the all-time scoring record, there is a ton of nostalgia surrounding him right now. That has consequently led to some retros that are supposedly going to be released, very soon.

LeBron x Nike

LeBron

Among the first retros to be shown off is this “First Game” Nike Air Zoom Generation. Interestingly enough, James did not wear this shoe during his first-ever game in the NBA. Instead, he wore it during his fourth-ever game. However, this game was his first at home with the Cavaliers, so at least there is something consistent here. Firstly, the shoe has a white leather upper. Secondly, we get some red mesh on the sides, with blue interspersed throughout. Overall, it is one of those colorways that just works well. Red, white, and blue are colors that have always paired well, and that will never change.

As it stands, this retro is being slated for a March 21st release date. However, this date is subject to change as we are still over a month away. Having said that, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world. Additionally, let us know what you think of these, down in the comments section below.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Ice Blue” Coming Soon: Photos

While the Air Jordan 1 High OG is the most popular AJ1, it is important to not forget about the Air Jordan 1 Mid. Overall, this is a shoe that is loved by fans for a multitude of reasons. One of these reasons is ultimately because the shoe is cheaper and a lot easier to find. However, there is another reason that fits into this equation. Simply, the AJ1 Mid is a shoe that Jumpman feels more comfortable experimenting with. This is a model that is constantly getting unique new colorways that don’t always make it to the High OG.

Due to this experimentation, the Jordan 1 Mid has become extremely popular over the last couple of years. Moreover, the Air Jordan 1 Low has also been seeing a huge rise in popularity. Overall, this is a very good thing for Jordan Brand. It showcases that the Air Jordan 1 is still going strong and that they cannot go wrong with the shoe. Furthermore, it gives them the green light to create colorways like the one below.

Air Jordan 1 Mid Returns

The following colorway does not have an official name, however, we are simply going to call it “ice blue” for now. Firstly, the shoe begins with white on the side panels that then extends to the overlays on the front and the sides. Secondly, we get a heavy dose of icy blue materials on the toe box, laces, back heel, outsole, and even the lining in the shoe. Lastly, black is placed on the Nike swoosh as well as the cuff and the tongue. Once you put all of these elements together, you get a shoe that looks very nice.

At the time of writing this, the shoe does not have a release date. However, you can expect it to drop relatively soon for a price of $125 USD. Overall, the Air Jordan 11 is considered to be one of the best silhouettes to ever be worn by Michael Jordan. Many fans remember this as the shoe that MJ wore when he came back to the NBA after a brief hiatus to play baseball. For the most part, this shoe was absolutely beloved by fans. To this day, the shoe is still a fan favorite and that will probably never change. Consequently, Jumpman has kept this shoe to just a couple of releases per year. They always take place during the Holiday season, and the release is always highly anticipated.

Last year, we got the Air Jordan 11 “Cherry.” Typically, one year Jumpman will do a new colorway, and then the next, they will come through with a retro. Subsequently, fans have been trying to guess which retro would come out this year. It felt like most people were actually hoping for the “Columbia” model to make its return. Reebok Creates ‘Pump Universe’ Out of Most Historic Lines of Sneakers

H06496 D1 eCom

Reebok has released “Pump Universe,” a revisionist footwear collection that reimagines its most iconic historical sneakers, on the 32nd anniversary of Dee Brown’s historic ‘no-look’ dunk contest performance that launched the brand’s “Pump” technology into prominence. “Pump Universe” volume one, starring Question Pump and Shaq Victory Pump, will be available on Reebok.com and the Foot Locker family of brands on Feb. 17. Reebok.com now sells the “Pump Universe” Legacy Lifter III Pump.

What if Reebok’s game-changing “Pump” technology was included into all of its shoes? What if the Blacktop series was about tennis? What if Club C 85 was truly released in 1995? “Pump Universe” will investigate these other realities in two chapters.

“Pump Universe” chapter 1 rewrites the history of Allen Iverson’s trademark Question and the training staple Legacy Lifter III, while Shaq’s signature Shaq Attaq crosses over to the tennis court, led by the introduction of Pump technology to three essential Reebok sport and training models.

Throughout the collection, “Pump Universe” design identifiers include a new “RBK” logo, a unique peeled-back Pump ball, hybrid athlete brand logos, and more.

Descriptions of each release and the supporting imagery are below.

Question Pump (H06496, $180): What if Allen Iverson was a dunk contest champ? This is the shoe he would’ve worn. Question “Pump” brings high-flyer energy to AI’s signature rookie model from ’96 with an imaginative Pump Omni Zone II-inspired upper and a hybrid “Q” x Dee Brown no-look dunk logo.

Shaq Victory Pump (H06494, $180): What if Shaq battled Michael Chang at Wimbledon? In this alternate reality, Shaq’s first signature basketball shoe from ’92 is rewritten for the pitch with a blended Shaq Attaq and Court Victory upper, Court Victory midsole and outsole, new “RBK” branding, and a revised Shaq tennis logo.

Legacy Lifter III Pump (HR0428, $220): No two feet are alike. Whether three pumps or ten, PUMP technology applied to Legacy Lifter III offers a customizable and locked-in fit ensuring confidence when it’s needed most, before stepping up to that big lift. Screen Shot 2023 02 08 at 3.41.02 PM

LeBron James’ historic night was capped off by a special gift from his Nike family, commissioned by THE SURGEON, waiting in the locker room. A one-of-a-kind sneaker made just for the King. The iconic LeBron 20 silhouette was created specifically to recognize LeBron’s recent achievement of surpassing Kareem Abdul-scoring Jabar’s record in NBA history.

The Shoe Surgeon was contacted by LeBron’s team and Nike Basketball to develop this particular bespoke shoe, which is sure to become a desirable collector’s item for sneaker connoisseurs and LeBron fans alike. This limited edition shoe is created with the highest quality materials and boasts an authentic white croc top and a golden iridescent swoosh. In the third quarter of the Lakers’ Tuesday night game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Bron elevated over the Thunder defense to drop in a fadeaway jumper and capture the record.

After getting the bucket, the game was paused, allowing King James to celebrate with his fans and close friends. Bron would also deliver a speech at the moment to the Lakers fans.

“I write ‘The Man In The Arena’ on my shoe every single night from Theodore Roosevelt,” James said to ESPN in postgame. “Tonight, I actually felt like I was sitting on top of the arena when that shot went in, and the roar from the crowd. I’m not sure if I would be able to feel that feeling again, unless it’s a game-winning Finals shot.

“Everything just stopped. It gave me an opportunity to embrace it and look around and seeing my family, the fans, my friends. It was pretty cool. I probably can count on my hands how many times I have cried in 20 years, either in happiness or in defeat. So that moment was one of them when I kind of teared up a little bit. It was ‘I can’t believe what’s going on’ tears.”

The moment was christened with a passing of the torch moment from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to James. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was also present for the moment.

Inside a sold-out Staples Center was Denzel Washington, JAY-Z, Bad Bunny, LL Cool J, Dwyane Wade, Magic Johnson, and more.

Unfortunately, the Lakers lost the game, but they will look to rectify that on Thursday when they host Giannis Antentokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
