Travis Scott Sneakers On Sale For $30K From Reseller

If there’s anyone who knows how to make sneakers fly off the shelves these days, it’s Travis Scott. Sure, maybe his best footwear collabs are behind him, but through his various Air Jordan partnerships, he built an incredible legacy in hip-hop kicks culture. Also, La Flame is well-known for signing fans’ shoes, giving his own away, and creating that special moment with die-hards. Apparently, a sneakerhead got his hands on a pair of signed Cactus Jack Air Jordan 4’s, on which the Houston MC allegedly wrote “Don’t.” Many interpreted this as “Don’t resell” online when they saw that the fan in question is selling them for $30K.

Of course, it’s entirely possible that this is all for show, but regardless, thirty thousand dollars is a lot to ask for. Many debated whether or not this was a good hustle or if this fan is exposing himself as a cash grub. Regardless, fans can look forward to more Travis Scott shoes in the future, although it’s unknown when they’ll drop. He recently teased his new Jordan Cut The Check collaboration, which will be the rapper’s signature model with the brand.

Reseller Wants $30K For Signer Travis Scott Jordan 4’s

Considering all the hype around his latest album UTOPIA, maybe $30K isn’t that bad of an ask for signed Travis Scott shoes. What most people take issue with is that “Don’t” signature and that the reseller is profiting off of a special moment. Still, if that’s how people want to spend their money, then it’s a simple matter of supply and demand that’s common in the sneaker world- especially at the intersection of that and hip-hop die-hards- and especially for the “MY EYES” hitmaker. What’s more is that we’re sure this isn’t even the most expensive a pair of Trav kicks have gone for.

Meanwhile, it seems like the 32-year-old might be moving into other collab areas soon, or at least, that’s what he hopes. He recently took to social media to crown his dream soundtrack, and the answer might surprise you. We wonder what he thinks of these resellers: is he proud of creating that hype or does he want fans to keep his craft and gifts forever? Either way, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Travis Scott.

Bleu DaVinci Claims He Discovered Eminem Before Dr. Dre

Former BMF rapper Bleu DaVinci claims that he discovered Eminem before Dr. Dre signed the legendary Detroit rapper. DaVinci explained himself during a recent interview with Cam Capone News, recalling a time he brought Eminem to Priority Records head of A&R Andrew Shack. DaVinci says that he was just 16 years old at the time he found Eminem.

“I know how the whole label run at 16 years old,” the former BMF rapper said. “I brought fucking Slim Shady, Eminem to him, on my mama, anybody. Ask the Jewish man Andrew Shack, I brought Eminem to that first before Dr. Dre signed him. Me and Ras Kass was finna go to New York and just came from Maritime Hall in the Bay and I just watched Eminem perform for the first time, I took his tape and took him straight to the fucking head of A&R Andrew Shack. He was the head of A&R and then he became Vice President. He was the n***a that signed n****s!”

Bleu DaVinci On Eminem

“He was in the middle of doing the Rhyme & Reason soundtrack and I brought him Eminem,” DaVinci continued. He added that he wasn’t able to convince the label to sign him as he didn’t have any respect as a teenager. But when Dr. Dre eventually signed Eminem, Shack cussed DaVinci out. “Dr. Dre signed him why didn’t you tell me?’ I said I did tell you, muthafucka. He the hardest muthafuckin’ white boy I ever seen rapping in my life, that’s why I brought him in here,” DaVinci said. “I didn’t have to bring this shit in here … I was just 16 they wasn’t respecting my gangsta.” Eminem signed with Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment in 1998.

Eminem isn’t the only rapper that DaVinci brought up. He also claimed in the interview that Gucci Mane initially wanted to join BMF, but was turned down by Big Meech. “He was cool, and he used to try to get down with the mob, but Meech was telling n****s like, ‘Nah man, this n***a be out here robbing n****s and shit. We can’t have no n****s that’s known robbers.’ It wasn’t like he was some robber. N****s knew he would get down on a n***a type shit. So we kinda wasn’t doing that at the time. He always just been a friendly and always been the homie.”

Logic Recalls Nas Trying To Sign Him

Logic recalled the “cringe” moment when his idol, Nas, tried to sign him. In a post on Instagram, Logic detailed the interaction, explaining that he was embarrassed over one of the lyrics from his song, “Numbers.” On the track, Logic raps about drinking $100,000 wine, which caught Nas’ attention.

“I then find out that Nas wants to sign me. And I’m like, ‘Oh my God! This is crazy! Nas, my idol, wants to sign me!’” Logic began. “One of the first things he says … I was like, ‘Oh man, this is a nice room! You got drinks and all this stuff.’ And he’s like, ‘I ain’t got none of that $100,000 wine you be sipping on.’” He continued: “Because I have this line in I think it’s ‘Numbers,’ where I’m like, ‘I’m at the penthouse popping bottles of that $100,000 wine!” Ugh, cringe! And I’m so broke. $100,000 wine? It’s like, are you joking? Like, what? But you’re on HOC. You’re on food stamps. You’re talking about $100,000 wine? You can’t even buy grapes. [But] I thought that was cool because he’s like, reciting my own lyrics back to me.”

Logic’s Post

Logic didn’t reveal exactly when the meeting with Nas took place. However, “Numbers” was featured on his 2012 project, Young Sinatra: Undeniable. A year later, he signed with Def Jam, where he remained for almost a decade. Logic’s final album with the label was Vinyl Days, which he released in June 2022. He recorded the project over the span of 12 days in order to get out of his contract as soon as possible. Logic then joined BMG, which offered him a deal to maintain ownership of his masters. “There’s a lot of bullshit in the music industry,” Logic said in a statement. “I’m just glad to move on to a place where I can be independent and respected as an artist, and feel like I’m in control of my career.”

Logic’s first album since leaving Def Jam, College Park, is due for release on Friday. The 17-track project will feature RZA, Bun B, Redman, Joey Bada$$, and more. It was produced entirely by Producers Lounge.
