Antonio Brown Owes Jeweler Over $1 Million For Stolen Goods, Continues To Flaunt Items He Took

Antonio Brown is someone who has found himself at the center of more than a few controversies over the last few years. Overall, he doesn’t seem to care about any of it. Instead, he can be found on Twitter posting about how he probably has CTE. He has embraced it as some sort of meme, and it has been pretty bizarre to watch. Whatever the case, it appears as though AB is now in some monetary trouble. This is because, according to TMZ, he owes celebrity jeweler Shuki Internation over $1 million.

Back in 2022, Shuki leant his diamond fingers and a few rings to AB. Brown was supposed to give them back, but he allegedly never did. Subsequently, in April of last year, Shuki hit the former NFL star with a lawsuit. As it turns out, Brown never replied to the lawsuit. Instead, he let almost a whole year go by. This led to a default judgment, and now, AB owes Shuki $1,096,000. This is a huge sum of money, although Brown is unbothered by it all. In a recent video, Brown could be seen wearing the items that he took. Needless to say, he does not care about a thing.

Antonio Brown Speaks

As Shuki explained to TMZ, he contacted Brown over the weekend in regard to the default judgment. However, Brown never responded. Instead, he just ignored him and didn’t pick up the phone. At this point, there is no telling how the jeweler is going to get his money back. Either way, he has a right to that $1 million, and only time will tell whether or not the payments come smoothly and swiftly. Hopefully, it all works out in the end.

Floyd Mayweather Surprises Friend With Quarter-Mil Watch

Floyd Mayweather really put the “money” in “Money Man” this week as he surprised his friend with a watch worth $250K. “The Money Man is back. I’m right here with my main man, Shuki. We in L.A., ballin’ out. This watch right here is going to Shuki. One of my custom pieces. Money Man, y’all know the rest,” Mayweather said in a video shared on social media. The piece is a white diamond and gold piece straight out of Mayweather’s personal collection.

Of course, Mayweather’s friends aren’t the only ones who benefit from his generosity. Back in August, Mayweather personally paid for 68 families to fly from Maui to Honolulu following devastating wildfires. He also covered hotel tabs for the families, as well as providing food tabs and clothing hauls while they recover from the tragedy. He reportedly worked with the clothing retailer H&M to achieve the latter of those goals. Mayweather declined to comment when approached by TMZ. While he confirmed the report, he stated that he was not looking to garner additional attention.

Mayweather Checks Adin Ross, Blueface

However, things are much less pleasant for people who aren’t Mayweather’s friends. Back in August, streamer Adin Ross tried to hang with Mayweather, only to get his ego harshly checked. “Where’s my check? Can’t be filming me for free,” Mayweather can be heard saying with a laugh. “I ain’t go no money, bro, I’m broke. I want to get money, like you,” Ross responds. However, Mayweather immediately called cap on that, referring to Ross’ contract with Kick, “My boy here saying that you got that NBA money,” Mayweather says. This refers to the rumors that Kick signed Ross to a two-year, $150 million deal. Kick’s founder, Trainwrecks, claims that this number is false. “Not that NBA money, bro…” Ross replied, trying to deflect. The background noise makes it hard to hear the rest of the conversation but Mayweather appears to bring up Charleston White. “I got a problem with him, I don’t mess with him,” Ross quickly says. “Dude said he wanted to r-word my sister.”

Meanwhile, Mayweather also showed up on Crazy In Love, sparring with Blueface. However, much to the disappointment to many viewers, Mayweather went easy on the rapper. Furthermore, the 50-0 legend even went as far as to give Blueface “two free shots for TV”.

Antonio Brown Faces $1.1M Lawsuit

Antonio Brown could have been a Hall of Fame NFL player. Despite entering the league as a sixth-round pick in 2010, Brown was an elite player. He put up more than 1100 yards in his sophomore season on just 69 receptions. He had six consecutive 1200+ yard seasons between 2013 and 2018. Brown was the definition of success for a late-round draft pick. Even after on- and off-field issues sidelined him in 2019, he still returned a year later to help Tampa Bay win a Super Bowl. Despite the infamy around his name, he could still find his way into the Hall on his football prowess alone.

However, Brown’s NFL career ended after a chaotic breakup with the Buccaneers in 2021. Furthermore, he has never been able to escape off-field issues. There are almost too many to list but recent examples include an alleged promoter scam, assaulting a moving truck driver, and accusations of revenge porn. Many of Brown’s scandals have resulted in legal action and it appears that the trend isn’t ending anytime soon.

Celebrity Jeweler Sues Antonio Brown

TMZ has reportedly obtained a lawsuit filed by Shuki International, a renowned celebrity jeweler. According to the suit, Shuki claims that Brown owes him just under $1.1 million for a collection of jewelry Brown was given in 2022. The items Brown allegedly received and didn’t pay for include Shuki’s famous Shuki International diamond finger covers. Other items reportedly include a rose gold black diamond variant of the fingers, a white gold chain, and a ring. The suit, according to TMZ, states that Brown was supposed to provide payment by December 1, 2022. Shuki claims he has received no payments from Brown for the items.

The lawsuit is a blow to what appeared to be a close relationship between the pair. Brown released a rap single titled Shuki Diamonds last year. However, there are apparently 1,095,000 reasons why the two are now at odds. TMZ‘s report states that Shuki will address the suit publicly later this week. At the time of writing, Brown has yet to respond to the allegations. However, if true, this could prove to be another pricey blunder for the former NFL pro.
