Shedeur Sanders And Brother Shilo Accused Of Sliding In Same Girl’s DMs

On July 31, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, launched his own podcast, called 2Legendary. For the second episode, his brothers, teammate Shilo Sanders and older brother Deion Sanders, Jr., joined him. The episode has nearly 160,000 views since its release on August 6. The siblings discussed their father Deion Sanders, NFL compensation, and their passions off the field. They also took a second to laugh off a rumor that they go after the same girls.

At one point during the chat, Shedeur Sanders jokingly said: “This how them girls be on them podcast, ‘I really don’t know who that is that DM’d me. I really don’t know him.” After laughing, Deion Sanders Jr. took the joke as an opportunity to bring up a rumor surrounding his younger brothers and said, “Aye, speaking of girls saying that, Sanders’ kids [do] DM.” He quickly added “I’m just playing,” as Shilo Sanders said, “We don’t DM girls.” Referencing where the rumor started, he laughed and then continued, “I seen that, it was on a podcast just like this one.” While the brothers didn’t name names, it’s highly speculated that they were speaking about Winter Blanco from Bad Girls Club. During a separate podcast interview, Winter Blanco claimed that “two of the Sanders brothers was in my DMs at one point.”

Shedeur And Shilo Sanders DM Same Girl?

Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders clearly deny those claims, and it is unlikely that any more will stem from this brief back-and-forth. Some fans did take the opportunity to mention that famous athletes often end up in relationships with the same women, so it would not be impossible to believe that those two spoke to her.

Regardless, the top priority for the Sanders family will be to have a better on-field season than the last. The Colorado Buffaloes finished their first season under head coach Deion Sanders at 4-8. It was a noticeable improvement over the single win they mustered the season prior, but they will look to finish with a winning record at the very least. Shedeur Sanders is a potential first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but any off-field distractions could impact his play.

Deion Sanders Wants The Falcons To Draft Both His Sons

Deion Sanders has strongly suggested that the Atlanta Falcons should draft his sons Shedeur and Shilo. Sanders made the suggestion while Falcons scout Rich Sanders was visiting Colorado this week. “We ain’t coming back unless we bringing the Sanders boys to The A,” the scout was seen saying at Deion’s behest.

Of course, Deion spent the first five years of his NFL career as an electrifying presence for the Falcons (and Braves). Shedeur has been widely considered QB4 in the 2024 draft class after a white-hot start to his Colorado career. He has over 2000 yards through six games for the Buffs. Meanwhile, it’s hard to say where Shilo, a safety, will fall in the draft. He has 36 tackles and an 80-yard pick-six on the season so far. Meanwhile, Atlanta’s current QB is Desmond Ridder, who is in his first year as a full-time starter. He has 1073 yards and four touchdowns through five games. The Falcons are 3-2 so far this season.

Colorado Eye Bounce Back Win

While Sanders clearly has one eye on the draft, the other is firmly fixed on getting the Buffs back on track. Colorado may have gotten the win last weekend, but it wasn’t clean and it didn’t leave Sanders in the best mood. “Wonderful win, but we played like hot garbage and I’m trying to figure it out. I’m sick of this. We’re better than this,” Sanders said following the 27-24 win. He also alluded to the team’s reliance on his son, starting quarterback Shedeur, bailing them out of bad performances. “It’s like we’re waiting on him to put on his cape and do what he does. That’s what he does every week.” Arizona State had Colorado’s for most of the game. However, a 43-yard pass in the final minutes allowed the Buffs to kick the game-winning field goal

Next up on the docket is 1-4 Stanford. It’s been a terrible year for the Cardinal, with their sole win coming against Hawai’i in Week 1. Their subsequent four-game losing streak included a 30-23 loss to FCS side Sacramento State. It’s the perfect game for Colorado to reset ahead of a tough second half of the season. Colorado’s final five games of the season feature four ranked opponents (UCLA, Oregon State, Washington State, and Utah). It also features a game against Arizona, who pushed USC to triple overtime last weekend.

Deion Sanders Tells His Sons They Aren’t Leaving For The NFL Next Year

Deion Sanders intends on getting another year out of his sons in Colorado. While Shilo (senior) and Shedeur (junior) are draft-eligible in 2024, Coach Dad doesn’t seem thrilled at the idea of losing the two key starters. “Shilo said, ‘Oh, wow, Shedeur, look. You gonna be in the NFL next year.’ I said, ’No he ain’t.’ …You all ain’t going nowhere,” Deion said in a video posted by Well Off Media. The comments were made while taking in the Denver Broncos’ loss to the Commanders.

The Sanders brothers have been key additions to a surging Colorado squad this year. Shedeur (QB) has 1251 yards and 10 touchdowns through three games. His respective career bests are 3732 yards and 40 touchdowns. Meanwhile, Shilo (Safety) has 19 tackles and a pick-six. Both would likely be high draft picks if they declared. Pat McAfee has already labeled Shedeur as a top-three pick. However, it appears that they will have to wait until at least 2025 before they leave for the pros. If true, that means they will play a season of Big 12 football before leaving college.

Sanders Praised By Nick Saban

While he may be keeping his kids in school, Sanders is also getting high praise from some of the best coaches in the game. Alabama’s Nick Saban spoke on Sanders during his weekly media availability. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for Deion Sanders. First, he’s a great person and he’s done a great job of marketing the program to create a lot of national interest. But I see their team playing well on the field. They play with discipline, they do a good job of executing, they’ve been able to score points, playing decent on defense. So all those things, to me, are indicators that he’s a really good coach,” Saban told reporters on Wednesday.

Furthermore, Saban noted that this was an opinion he had held prior to Sanders’ arrival in Colorado. “He’s always been successful whether it was Jackson State, high school or now in Colorado. His teams have always been well coached.” Sanders began his coaching journey at his Prime Prep Academy in Texas in 2012. He also coached at Triple A Academy and Trinity Christian Community College before landing the Jackson State job in 2020. He went 27-6 with the SWAC powerhouse.
