Megan Thee Stallion Had ‘A Blast’ Twerking On ‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’

Last Thursday (September 1), Megan Thee Stallion made her much-discussed debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by popping up in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. The most noteworthy part of her appearance came in a mid-credits scene, when she hired Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk to be her lawyer. The two celebrated by dancing in Walters’ office, a moment that saw the two of them twerk together.

After the episode debuted, Meg took to Instagram to share her thoughts on what it was like to film the show. She had a terrific time, as she wrote, “Likeee thee hot girl coach is now in thee marvel universe [green heart emojis] ive been holding this in for so long im glad the hotties finally get to see it !!! Shooting this was a BLAST thank you @shehulkofficial @marvel for asking me to be apart. Im gonna manifest I get to do moreeeeee.”

She-Hulk head writer and executive producer Jessica Gao recently said about how Megan came to appear on the show, “We knew that for that story, we needed a famous, beautiful, successful woman… We were going through all the possibilities… but when it came down to it, Jameela [Jamil, who plays Titania] knew Megan from working on [HBO Max’s] Legendary together, and she brought her up. We were like, ‘Don’t say it if it’s not really true! Don’t tease us with this!’”

The Behind The Scenes Pics Of Megan Thee Stallion Twerking With She-Hulk Are Even Better Than The Original

As if the new She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Marvel Comic Universe show needed any more attention, Megan Thee Stallion made a cameo on the show this past week. And of course, the rap universe’s most prominent twerker was twerking on the show…with She-Hulk.

The scene happens in the middle of the end credits to the episode titled “The People vs. Emil Blonsky.” Without giving too much away in the form of spoilers, Meg and She-Hulk (played by Tatiana Maslany) celebrate a victory of sorts with a celebratory twerk. “You are way more fun than my last lawyer!” Meg says, to which She-Hulk responds, “I will kill for you, Megan Thee Stallion,” before Meg takes a half step back and says “Dial it back.” It’s solid comedy that plays into the world of Megan Thee Stallion like a charm. Now the behind-the-scenes photos that actress Jameela Jamil (who plays Titania on the show) shared on Twitter, show an even wilder side of She-Hulk, but with a very different look.

“THE GREATEST BTS PICS OF A MARVEL SHOW DON’T EXI-,” Jamil (who took credit for roping Megan Thee Stallion onto the show) tweeted. The photos show Maslany in a full VFX costume, flashing even raunchier moves than what ended up on the show.

Ahhh…the magic of post-production. Meanwhile, Marvel die-hards on the internet are blowing up Jamil’s replies in disgust. So it goes…

The ‘She-Hulk’ Megan Thee Stallion Twerking Scene Happened Thanks To Tatiana Maslany

At long last, after months of rumors, Megan Thee Stallion has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an appearance on She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. Her debut on the show was certainly notable, as it included a scene where she and Jen Walters/She-Hulk twerked. It turns out a major reason why that moment happened is because Tatiana Maslany, She-Hulk herself, is a big-time Meg enthusiast.

Kat Coiro, the episode’s director, told TVLine, “The dancing was actually added to the script on the day, because Tatiana was so excited. She’s the world’s biggest Megan Thee Stallion fan and we were like, ‘We’ve gotta give her something,’ so they threw together this dancing scene.”

Maslany laughed and said, “Yeah, that was me! That was all me.” She also said the moment “was a dream come true.” She added, “It was like one of my absolute top moments on set, of anything I’ve ever done. I was shaking and I was nervous, and then the music played and I was like, ‘I’m in a Megan Thee Stallion music video!’”

Coiro also noted that despite all the show’s CGI, that truly was Maslany holding her own as she twerked (wearing a motion-capture suit) with Meg: “Yes, she’s a CGI character in that [scene], but that is all Tatiana twerking, 100 percent.”

A ‘She-Hulk’ Producer Breaks Down Why And How Megan Thee Stallion Popped Up On The Show

The new Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney At Law has been all people are talking about for many reasons, including the fact that Megan Thee Stallion made a cameo. After it was off-handedly confirmed in a recent profile on the rapper, fans were excited, and now even more so that the scene finally came out in today’s (September 1) episode “The People vs. Emil Blonsky.”

In a new interview with TVLine about the show, the head writer and executive producer Jessica Gao told the publication about casting Meg. “We knew that for that story, we needed a famous, beautiful, successful woman… We were going through all the possibilities… but when it came down to it, Jameela [Jamil, who plays Titania] knew Megan from working on [HBO Max’s] Legendary together, and she brought her up. We were like, ‘Don’t say it if it’s not really true! Don’t tease us with this!’”

Who wouldn’t want to have Meg on their show; she’s been having a massive year with the release of her highly anticipated album Traumazine, which contained lots of major features, like with Latto, Future, Dua Lipa, Rico Nasty, Pooh Shiesty, Key Glock, and Jhene Aiko.

Of Course Megan Thee Stallion Twerked With She-Hulk In Her First Appearance On The Show

Since earlier this year, it was rumored that Megan Thee Stallion had landed a role on the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, marking her introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That was off-handedly confirmed in a recent profile on the rapper. Now, in case there was any doubt remaining, Meg has made her first appearance on the show.

(The rest of this post contains spoilers for She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.)

In today’s (September 1) new episode titled “The People vs. Emil Blonsky,” a shapeshifting elf from New Asgard transformed into Megan in an effort to trick Dennis Bukowski, a former co-worker of Jen Walters, so he’d believe he is dating the rapper. A mid-credits scene is where the magic happens, though, when the actual Meg hires Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk to be her lawyer. After that happens, the two celebrate by twerking and dancing to Megan’s “Body.”

An impressed Meg says, “You are way more fun than my last lawyer!” Walters responds, “I will kill for you, Megan Thee Stallion.” Meg leans away and cautions, “Dial it back.”

Who Will Megan Thee Stallion Play In ‘She-Hulk?’

Rappers get compared to superheroes all the time. But one rapper, in particular, might just be getting the opportunity to become a superhero for real — or at least, to play one on TV. Recently, it was confirmed that Megan Thee Stallion had been cast in Marvel’s new superhero comedy show She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. When stunt performer Marche Day updated her listing on stuntpoc.com to include being a stunt double for Megan Thee Stallion in She-Hulk, she joined a long list of Marvel cast members who inadvertently leaked casting news which includes Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland. So…

Who Will Megan Thee Stallion Play In She-Hulk?

As of now, Megan’s role remains a closely-guarded secret, much like the surprise cameos from John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic and Anson Mount reprising Black Bolt ahead of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. She might not even be playing a superhero — or villain — as even innocent bystanders or stars playing themselves in movies and television shows can require stunt doubles when rubble is flying around or things are being set on fire. For what it’s worth, at 5’10”, Megan would have made a great Titania, but that role has already been filled by the equally statuesque Jameela Jamil, who recently proved why stars often need stunt doubles with an NSFW injury. Of course, in the comics, Titania is a member of a supervillain group called The Grapplers, which includes a number of imposing beauties whose roles Meg could fill such as Cowgirl, Gladiatrix, and Poundcakes.

On the bright side, we likely won’t have to wait very long to find out; new She-Hulk: Attorney At Law premiere every Thursday on Disney Plus, and the show will have nine episodes.

Megan Thee Stallion Joins The Marvel Cinematic Universe After Months Of Rumors

Megan Thee Stallion has been expanding her acting resume lately. Earlier this month, she guest-starred in P-Valley and earlier this year, it was revealed she had been cast in the movie F*cking Identical Twins. In recent months, it was rumored Meg would be making the leap to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Earlier this year, stunt performer Marche Day added being Megan’s stunt double on She-Hulk: Attorney At Law to her resume.

Now, we have some more concrete confirmation of that role: A new Meg profile from The Cut notes she has indeed been cast in She-Hulk. Meg also noted of her acting ambitions, “When I look at them [Queen Latifah and Ice Cube], it inspires me to take it further than just music. I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”

She also spoke about her upcoming album Traumazine, saying of it, “Everybody has gone through their own trauma in their own way, and to me, Traumazine is me facing the things that I’ve been running from about myself. […] It’s comforting to know that other people are going through the same thing that you might be feeling. When something happens to people, they feel like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is only me. This is not normal, or I’m probably the only person in the world that feels like this.’ But to hear somebody else talking about something that you’re probably feeling, it’s more comforting and more familiar. That’s why people resonate with hearing other people’s stories.”
