Shaq Hilariously Makes Fun Of Charles Barkley For Sounding Drunk

Shaq and Charles Barkley have always combined for some truly incredible banter on Inside The NBA. TNT has had the rights to the NBA for a very long time, and overall, fans are hoping that they keep it. This is largely thanks to the amazing job that Shaq and Charles are constantly doing. Although they may be oldheads who are stuck in their ways, they are always providing fans with some truly hilarious banter. Whenever you tune into their broadcast, you can be sure that something truly funny is going to be said by one of them.

This past weekend, Barkley and Shaq were huge parts of the All-Star coverage. TNT has always had the game, and on Sunday, they got to be part of the draft and the game in Salt Lake City, Utah. As we already reported, Chuck had some words for none other than Draymond Green. Additionally, however, during the draft portion, Shaq and Chuck had some hilarious banter. In the clip down below, you can see just how amazing it truly was.

Shaq Clowns Chuck

As you can hear, there was a weird delay on Barkley’s mic that made it sound as if he was slurring his words. Shaq caught onto this right away and decided to make fun of his co-host. The NBA legend asked Barkley if he was drunk and what exactly he had been sipping on all afternoon. Chuck immediately claimed it was the microphone, although Shaq was not buying it. Furthermore, the whole scene was made funnier thanks to LeBron and Giannis laughing it up on stage. Needless to say, Shaq knows how to turn moments into funny ones.

As for the game itself, Team Giannis won thanks to some amazing efforts from his teammates. However, there was no defense and for many of the fans at home, it was just a boring match. At the end of the day, the All-Star Game is simply a showcase, and nothing more. Hopefully, in future years, they are able to make the game a bit better. Until then, fans will be stuck with the current product which absolutely needs a bit of work.

Shaq Had This Epic Message For Mac McClung

Over the years, Shaq has been criticized for being too much of an old head as it pertains to the new players in the league. One can just look at the Rui Hachimura situation to see what we are talking about. Overall, Shaq can be a bit too critical of the guys that have come after him. Even if it comes from a place of love, most fans see it as him being way too dismissive of the new generation. However, sometimes, O’Neal has praise for the most random players. As it turns out, we got to see that praise over the weekend.

If you watched the All-Star festivities yesterday, you know that Mac McClung was the hero of the evening. McClung is a G-League star who made a name for himself with his dunk package in high school. Although he is not an NBA player, he was still able to compete in the dunk contest. In the end, he won the whole thing, and it was one of the most impressive things we have seen. McClung is now on everyone’s radar. However, it turns out that Shaq was already a big fan of his.

Shaq With The Support

In the video clip above, Shaq could be seen interacting with McClung prior to his showing at the contest. Diesel wanted to make sure McClung was aware of just how big this moment was for his career. As a result, he said “Nobody knows your name. Make ’em remember your name. And don’t miss a dunk.” Mac subsequently replied by saying “I got you” before going to warm up. In the end, McClung did not disappoint as he never missed a single dunk. He also got some perfect scores en route to a blowout in the dunk contest.

Throughout the clips down below, you can see just how deep McClung’s bag truly is. You cannot help but be impressed by this young man. Although he may not be a mainstay in the league, he certainly is fun to watch. Let us know which of his dunks were your favorite to watch, down in the comments below.

Shaq Defends Rihanna’s Super Bowl Performance Against Critics: “Shut It Up”

As the Super Bowl celebrations continue for the Kansas City Chiefs, Rihanna’s halftime performance is still being discussed. The singer floated through several fan-favorite classics during her 14-minute show, but it wasn’t her music that stole attention. Ri used her huge NFL opportunity to reveal her second pregnancy, although she didn’t detail how far along she is just yet. The performance was praised by the singer’s fans, and highlights have flooded social media. However, not everyone was impressed, and Shaq didn’t want to hear another peep from critics.

“I want to say this,” Shaq began during a recent interview. “All you people disrespecting my Rihanna, shut your face. Shut it up. Like, we livin’ in a world where people got too much freedom. Keep you **** to yourself. She did a wonderful job, she’s pregnant, she blessed it, she did her thang. She didn’t fall. Just leave it there.”

He continued: “All you superstars that’s disrespectful and causing beef, shut your face. Shut it up.” Shaq added that if Ri was his lady and he heard about celebrities shading the singer, he would check them. The NBA icon said, “Rappers, presidential candidates, I would have to get at you. Leave this woman alone. Rihanna is Rihanna. I was there, it was beautiful. She did a great job. I didn’t know she was pregnant until she bust out, but leave her alone.”

Shaq’s comments circulated on the heels of WWE icon Bill Goldberg expressing his disappointment with Rihanna’s performance. “I thought Rihanna was frickin’ horrible,” he said during the CarCast podcast this week. “I was disgusted by it. That’s all. Let’s just say that. I thought it was horrible.” It seems Goldberg had an issue with Rihanna’s genital wiping gesture during the show.

Regardless of critics, the halftime display’s viewership outnumbered that of the Super Bowl itself. It marked Rihanna’s return to the stage following a seven-year absence, and it opened up possibilities for an album release and potential tour. Check out Shaq defending Rihanna above.

Kevin Durant Corrects Shaq Following Rui Hachimura Controversy

Kevin Durant is someone who has had to go toe-to-toe with the oldheads throughout the NBA world. Overall, the oldheads haven’t always been kind to him. With guys like Shaq and Charles Barkley referring to him as a “bus rider,” he’s never been too fond of them. Additionally, it does not help that some of the new players get completely dismissed by guys such as Shaq. Over the years, O’Neal has been downright disrespectful to certain players, and KD has watched that play out in real-time.

Most recently, Shaq had some interesting comments about Rui Hachimura. After being traded to the Lakers, Shaq claimed that he had no idea who Hachimura was. Moreover, Barkley went a bit too far and called Hachimura “HoochieMama” which is simply ridiculous. Following these comments, fans were pretty upset with Shaq and Chuck. They feel as though it is unacceptable for two men who get paid to talk basketball to not know about common players in the league. At the end of the day, it just makes them look like casuals who don’t know what they’re talking about.

Kevin Durant Reacts

Since then, Shaq has apologized to Hachimura. “Let me apologize to Rudy Hachimura,” Shaq said. “I didn’t know who he was because I never watch the bull play, but he’s a fine role-player… So Rudy Hachimura I apologize I didn’t know who you were, I know you are now and I wish you well.” As you can see, Shaq didn’t even bother to get his name right as he called the man “Rudy.” This prompted a reaction from Kevin Durant who simply took to Twitter and write “Rui.” Simply put, KD wanted Hachimura to get his proper recognition.

Hopefully, Shaq and Chuck will stop pulling this stuff. It is starting to get tiresome, and we’re sure the younger players hate it. Coming across as a bitter oldhead isn’t fun, and we just want proper coverage of the players in the league today. You shouldn’t have to be a top 10 player just to get your proper due. Let us know what you think about all this, in the comments below.

Shaq Goes Off On Dwight Howard Over Lack Of Success In Taiwan

Shaq has a long history of hating Dwight Howard. Their feud dates back to the late 2000s when Howard was overtaking O’Neal as the best center in the game. Overall, it became clear that Shaquille was simply jealous of the Orlando Magic superstar. However, he would never admit to it, and it led to a very interesting rivalry. Albeit, it was a rivalry that Howard ended up winning due to the fact that Shaq was older at the time. If you are a longtime NBA fan, you remember this feud quite fondly.

Now, Howard is out in Taiwan where he is playing in their professional league. Infamously, Howard had an amazing debut with the team where he scored a triple-double and even made some three-pointers. However, the team has truly struggled since then. They went on a ten-game losing streak and are now sitting at a record of 3-11. Simply put, Howard has not had the effect on the team that they were really hoping for. For Shaq, this is absolutely music to his ears.

Shaq Disses Dwight

While on The Big Podcast with Shaq, the NBA legend spoke to Candace Parker about Howard’s play in Taiwan. When O’Neal found out about the team’s record, he immediately made fun of Dwight. In Shaq’s mind, this lack of success is on Howard, and it is embarrassing to be losing while playing in Taiwan. “Somebody sent me that they have a losing record. I ain’t losing to anybody in Taiwan, I’ll tell you that,” Shaq said. “How do you have a losing record in Taiwan? Come on now.” Needless to say, Shaq was very excited about this new information. For him, any opportunity to make fun of Howard is a win.

If you’re Dwight Howard, you have to be pretty sick of Shaq and his antics at this point. Howard is just trying to live his life, and O’Neal won’t let him. Although, for the fans, it is always fun to see the big man in his element on his podcast. For now, it seems like this feud will always live on, no matter what. Let us know what you think of these remarks, in the comments below.

Shaq Expresses Jealousy Over LeBron’s New Record

Shaq is someone who has had some very strong opinions about the new generation of NBA stars. Even when it comes to LeBron, Shaq hasn’t always been super complimentary. Overall, this has led to some fans labeling O’Neal as a hater of sorts. However, his comments can be chalked up to the fact that he is a competitive person. Additionally, he played in a much tougher era, and that has ultimately clouded his judgment on what guys are doing today. No matter what though he is a legend and people look to him for his takes.

Over the weekend, Shaq got to host his massive Super Bowl party. While there, he had a whole lot of fun. Moreover, he then got to witness an incredible game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. In the end, the Chiefs won the game, much to the delight of the midwest. Meanwhile, the Eagles go home empty-handed much to the chagrin of their insane fanbase. No matter what, it was an amazing weekend.

Shaq Talks LeBron

Extra TV was at the event and they got to speak with the former NBA superstar. When asked what he thought of LeBron’s latest record, Shaq had some very interesting thoughts. Essentially, he admires James for staying humble. This is mostly because Shaq wouldn’t be the same way. “It was a professional jealousy moment. If it was me, I would have been arrogant for 19 seconds,”Shaq said. “I know he is a humble kid, I know he is going to give the answer, ‘I don’t want to be involved in the debate of who the greatest,’ I am jealous of having the conversation… It is nice to be ‘Who’s the greatest? Him, or him?’ Everybody would love to be in that position.”

Overall, it is very clear that Shaq has a lot of respect for what LeBron has accomplished here. It will take decades for anyone to even come close to the record again. Hopefully, LeBron is able to at least enjoy the record for years to come. The only person in the league right now who could break it is Kevin Durant, and even then, it is unlikely that he does it.

Shaq & Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Share Heartfelt Exchange

Shaq and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are two of the greatest centers to ever play in the NBA. Overall, they are considered to be top five players in the history of the league, although Kareem more so than Shaq. Either way, there is no doubt that these two men are legends in their own right. They both played for the Lakers, and they both won a ton of championships with the franchise. However, there was seemingly this sense that Kareem and Shaq had beef during his time in L.A. It was one of those narratives that could never be confirmed, although it certainly weighed on the big man.

As for Kareem, he was in Los Angeles last night as he watched LeBron try and break his scoring record. James was just 36 points away from the record, and fans were skeptical as to whether or not he would do it. In the end, however, James was able to come through with a special game. He managed to tally 38 points and broke the record at the end of the third quarter. As you can imagine, it was a very special moment in the arena.

Shaq & Kareem Speak

Following the match, Shaq and Kareem got to speak together as part of a post-game segment on TNT. During this segment, Kareem addressed Shaq and revealed to him that he never meant to diss him during his time with the Lakers. In fact, Kareem praised the NBA legend for his dominance during that era. Subsequently, Shaq gave some praise right back to The Captain, making for a very sweet moment between the two. Kareem even told Shaq to continue representing the beautiful game. Overall, if you are a Lakers fan, you couldn’t help but be touched by this moment.

Abdul-Jabbar is now second on the all-time scoring list, which is going to be hard to get used to. For decades, Kareem held a record that many thought would never be broken. Now, however, LeBron holds the title and he will likely hold that record for decades as well. By the time everything is said and done, James could have upwards of 42-45,000 points.

Shaq Roasted Over Rui Hachimura Admission

Throughout his time on TNT, Shaq has had some pretty bad takes about players in the NBA. He and Charles Barkley have proven that they don’t watch basketball beyond the top teams. Furthermore, they only know the superstar players. If there is a role player on the Indiana Pacers who is making noise, you can bet Shaq does not know who they are.

Overall, this has proven to be a bad look for Inside The NBA. While the ratings are still good, some fans find it incredibly disrespectful to the players who put in so much work. However, Shaq continues to diss players, including Rui Hachimura.

“If you ain’t a top 10 player, I don’t know who you are… I’m not watching the Bullets or the Wizards,” Shaq said when reacting to the Lakers-Hachimura trade. This is a move that some believe can help the Lakers immensely. Although, it doesn’t feel like Shaq agrees as he acted as though Hachimura doesn’t even exist. Funny enough, Hachimura has his own sneaker colorways with Jordan Brand.

Shaq Takes Criticism

As a direct result of his words, many decided to levy some criticism at Shaq. As you will see, a lot of people took issue with the way that the NBA legend completely dismissed Hachimura. Overall, the comments were pretty harsh, albeit a potential wake up call to those on the TNT panel.

The average NBA fan can tell when someone is being a “casual.” Shaq’s comments are that of someone who doesn’t exactly know everything they are talking about. Subsequently, fans are disappointed, as they understand just how much Shaq gets paid to know ball.

In Hachimura’s first game with the Lakers, he scored 12 points and is setting himself up nicely for a solid role. Let us know what you think of this young player, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

Shaq Rocks Baby Hairs After Losing Another Bet

Shaq is easily one of the most entertaining people on sports television. There are a lot of people who deserve that crown. Of course, people look at guys like Stephen A. Smith and even Skip Bayless. However, when it comes to NBA broadcasts, no one does it better than Shaq.

Overall, NBA On TNT is one of the best ways to consume sorts. Inside The NBA is consistently great, even with the secondary crew which consists of Candace Parker, Shaq, and Jamal Crawford. While most fans prefer the Thursday crew, there is no doubt that these three do a fantastic job.

Shaq Eats His Words

If you have been watching Shaq, you know that he loves to come up with bets with his co-hosts. For instance, a while back he tried to make a bet involving some frog legs. Subsequently, Shaq lost the bet and was forced to eat frog legs live on the air. Although, he ultimately enjoyed the experience.

Last night, however, Shaq had to come through with a much less enjoyable punishment. After making a bet with Candace Parker last week, Shaq had to wear baby hairs since he ultimately lost. Overall, it made for a hilarious moment on TV and it seemed like the NBA legend was deeply uncomfortable.

In the comments to the post above, many concluded that this would have been funnier with Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith in attendance. However, they are only in on Thursdays, so fans will have to wait until tomorrow to see them. Regardless, it made for another fun Shaq moment.

Let us know what you thought of the lost bet, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.
