Playboi Carti Roasted Over Video Of Him Recording Ad-Libs

If you know anything about Playboi Carti, you understand that he isn’t afraid to experiment with his sound. Since bursting onto the scene in the middle of the 2010s, Carti has given us numerous eras. Overall, fans are particularly fond of his current era, which can be called “Vampire Carti.” On his album Whole Lotta Red, Carti completely embraced the “Vamp” lifestyle. Moreover, he introduced a ton of punk and metal aesthetics to his sound. He has carried that over into his live shows as he always has a guitarist with him to give each song an added flair.

Additionally, you cannot talk about Carti’s sound without mentioning his ad-libs. Playboi Carti is second to none when it comes to those added vocal flairs. Ultimately, it is an integral part of his sound, and fans absolutely love him for it. However, it turns out his process for recording these ad-libs is… strange to say the least. In the videos down below, you can see footage of Carti recording his vocal add-ons. During the process, Carti can be seen straining his neck, leaning backward, and completely squeaking his voice.

Playboi Carti In The Studio

As you can probably surmise, these clips are going viral throughout the Twitter-sphere. This makes sense when you consider just how bizarre the videos are. Carti is an enigmatic artist, and this just adds to that mystery. Moreover, some fans are simply downright concerned. For instance, one person asked, “is he having a seizure?” Others, however, had the ultimate respect for Playboi Carti and his craft. “Legendary shit,” one person said as another added, “If this is what it takes to be great. This is what I shall do.”

At the end of the day, this just helps build up hype for everything else that Carti may have in the works. He is supposed to be dropping off a new album soon. Additionally, Lil Uzi Vert is currently teasing collabs with Carti. It is clear that he is an artist in demand, and that will not be changing anytime soon. Druski Flirts With Ice Spice On “Coulda Been Records”

Slowly but surely, Druski is becoming one of the most exciting comedians in the entertainment industry. Next year, the Georgia-bred comedian will embark on his first-ever headlining comedy tour, titled the Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda Tour. The tour’s title is, in part, inspired by his ongoing Coulda Been Records Livestream series, and on Christmas Eve, Druski hosted one as a gift to his fans.

For his latest Coulda Been Records Livestream, he once again put on a great show. The Instagram Live session was filled with celebrity appearances, including GloRilla, Charleston White, Kevin Hart, and more. However, rising rapper Ice Spice’s cameo is one that has everyone talking.

Ice Spice made an appearance on Druski’s Coulda Been Records Livestream

The “Munch (Feelin’ U)” rapper joined the party near the 50-minute mark of Druski’s latest livestream. During their conversation, Ice Spice jokes about “doing it big for Christmas” while showing off a small Christmas tree, and together, she and Druski playfully roast her for having “that one hit.” While those exchanges were comical enough, he really shook things up near the end of their conversation.

Before Ice Spice exits the live, Druski shoots his shot by asking her to send her number to him in the DMs. Ice Spice agreed and proceeded to promote her new song “in ha mood,” which was released exclusively pm SoundCloud. He cuts her off by saying “Aye, we’ll talk” with a menacing grin. Then, the second Ice Spice leaves the livestream, he starts clowning the “Bikini Bottom” rapper.

“We don’t give a fuck about that song. Bitch, DM me,” he laughs. “I don’t give a fuck about that song, baby girl. DM me. Um, yeah. Yeah, we’ll see.”
