Diddy’s Key To Miami Beach Officially Revoked By The City

The wide breadth of the Diddy scandal impacts a lot of environments in society beyond the music and legal realm, whether that’s 50 Cent’s old Starz deals of full-on city endorsements. For example, Miami Beach previously gave the Bad Boy mogul the key to the city back in 2015 for his entertainment industry impact and holding the REVOLT Music Conference in the city. Now, according to TMZ, Miami officially rescinded this honor this week amid his criminal case on sex trafficking and racketeering allegations, plus his mountain of civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and other alleged crimes.

For those unaware, Diddy also lost the key to the city of New York earlier this year following a letter from Mayor Eric Adams. As for this Miami Beach situation, TMZ reports that Mayor Steven Meiner participated in a unanimous vote along with the rest of the city commission to revoke this key during an in-person hearing on the matter on Wednesday (October 30). However, alleged sources reportedly relayed to the outlet that the mayor still has to officially sign this imminent decision into effect, which will surely come in the near future.

In addition to this, the city of Miami Beach also pulled back on their “Sean Diddy Combs Day” on October 13 back in June after video footage of a harrowing assault on Cassie released to the public via CNN. In fact, this footage is at the center of a legal dispute between prosecutors and the defense in the federal criminal trial, as the latter alleges that the former leaked it to the press. The last updates we got on that were some scathing responses from the State to Sean Combs’ legal team’s accusations, denying anything of the sort.

Meanwhile, this news comes as other allegations about the Combs’ personal lives emerge that don’t have anything to do with the Diddy case. FTO Sett Arrested, Bond Revoked

FTO Sett was reportedly arrested on Tuesday (February 20) in Tennessee after a judge revoked his bond in his drug and gun case. Moreover, according to police records reportedly obtained by XXL, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office took him into custody following the judge’s order. Specifically, at press time, it’s unclear what prompted the judge to revoke the Memphis rapper’s bond, although it’s definitely in connection to open firearm and drug charges he caught in November of 2022. Perhaps the near future will hold answers for this debacle. Regardless, the court scheduled the “Can’t Be F***ed With” MC’s next court date for March 5.

Furthermore, FTO Sett’s team and the Memphis Police Department hasn’t responded to XXL‘s requests for comment yet. One unconfirmed report floating around social media right now is that he evaded police during a chase in a stolen vehicle with a switch. Also, they apparently caught the Life Of A SlimeCrook artist with stolen firearms and drugs, which could’ve led to the revocation of this bond. Still, a lot of this is mostly speculative, so take it with a grain of salt as more information slowly comes out about this ordeal.

However, it seems like FTO Sett himself had a response to all this on his Instagram Story, on which he’s been active as of seven hours ago at press time. “Y’all know I can’t let them trick me out my spot,” the 1017 Records signee expressed on the social media platform. “I know the blogs want to see me lose.
