Cardi B Angers Fans Yet Again With A Massive Update On Her Upcoming Album

Cardi B fans are sick and tired of all the updates, news, promises, and expectations surrounding her highly anticipated sophomore album. It’s been over six years since we got Invasion Of Privacy, and despite huge singles and enduring relevance, die-hards are feeling desperate for something concrete. But it’s been too long for them to really muster up much more excitement than what they already have. Moreover, she took to Instagram Live on Sunday night (November 17) to give fans yet another update on the sophomore LP, indicating that the album will come out next year rather than this year like she promised… Again.

“I’ve been feeling so emotional lately,” Cardi B shared on the social media platform. “Because I know next year is going to be my f***ing year. This has been the most weirdest year I have ever experienced. I don’t know what the f**k happened this year, I can’t even tell you. […] [I] fell in love. Then fell out of love, then got a divorce. […] I don’t know what the f**k is going on. I’m going through a very different transition in my f***ing life and life is moving a little bit too fast. I don’t want to crash. I have to get my s**t together. Next year, my album will be out, my secret businesses will be out. I can’t tell you what I’m working on. Hopefully next year I get me a little boyfriend. I’m h*e-less right now. I gotta get my s**t together.”

Cardi B Delays Album… Again

Cardi B also added that she spent a lot of time partying this year, and hopes to take a significant break and refocus herself. This is the latest disappointing update from her following her promise earlier this year to Rolling Stone that the album would be out before 2024 wraps up. “I take my music so f***ing seriously that that’s why I don’t put it out. Because if it’s not perfect to my ear, if every f***ing word doesn’t sound like it’s pronounced right, if the beat is overpowering the words or the words is overpowering the beat, I don’t want to put it out.”

Meanwhile, a lot of Cardi B fans expressed their anger online, supported her decision, or indicated that they stopped believing her or caring a long time ago. That’s definitely not what you want to hear from your fanbase, but we don’t blame them for being particularly hard on her. After all, it has been six years since Invasion Of Privacy, and all these promises and delays and updates and teases are just a lot. Hopefully this time, the year doesn’t go on for too long before we finally get the LP.

Central Cee Announces Release Date For Debut Album “Can’t Rush Greatness”

Central Cee has spent the last few years building one of the biggest profiles in U.K. rap on an international level, whether through hot singles like his most recent effort, “One By One,” and his blockbuster collaborations. But folks still have their skepticisms, given the fact that he doesn’t have a studio album under his belt among his various smaller projects. Well, Cench is going to change all of that very soon. He will drop his debut studio album Can’t Rush Greatness on January 24, which is a fitting title. As such, we know of at least one major hip-hop LP that will kick off the second half of the 2020s decade.

Not much else is known about this new album, other than a presumed cover art and this release date. As far as Central Cee’s sonic direction, amount of tracks, whether or not it will include previous singles, and other questions, we can only guess. Hopefully it’s a solid effort reflective of his skills, effort, and talent. The London native has stayed busy elsewhere throughout his career too, such as a recent Air Max 95 collab. But we’re sure that he’s been just as focused on this new body of work.

Central Cee Announces Can’t Rush Greatness Release Date

Of course, not every corner of the Internet is down to hear this Central Cee project, an impossible feat for any artist. Some fans still remember his viral Bantu knots which caused a lot of controversy earlier this year, or just don’t like the music that he puts out. But regardless of this criticism, the 26-year-old has a lot more greatness to pay attention to and seek motivation through. We’ll have to see what Can’t Rush Greatness provides, and how it resonates with his audience and others worldwide.

Meanwhile, this new album rollout comes with a bit of a recent publicity push, despite this being more of a negative look for some. Fans went wild over cheating allegations involving Ice Spice and Central Cee, though that narrative already died out. Maybe folks will have already forgotten about this by the time Can’t Rush Greatness rolls around. But they certainly won’t forget the album itself if it’s heat, and we’re excited to hear what’s in store.

Snoop Dogg & Dr Dre’s “Missionary” Album Finally Gets A Release Date

Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre will officially be releasing their collaborative album, Missionary, on December 13th, 2024. The two announced the decision in a post on social media on Wednesday afternoon. In doing so, they shared a teaser skit of two Mormon missionaries door-knocking with a link to pre-save the project.

The announcement has fans on social media elated. “I was born in 1980! Family and friends say I am definitely a super fan. Love to karaoke to your album doggystyle. Can’t wait for your new drop!!” one fan replied to Snoop. Another wrote: “Holy f*ck you just made my year! I’ve literally waited forever for you and Dre to follow up Doggystyle. I was 14 years old when Doggystyle dropped, you’ve made a middle aged man feel like a teenager again.”

As for what fans can expect from the project, Jelly Roll recently confirmed that he’ll be making an appearance on the tracklist during an interview with Bootleg Kev. “I won’t say anything about the record because he didn’t, but man, it’s special. It is really good,” he said, earlier this month. “I’m legitimately on the Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre album. It’s crazy. It’s unreal. Dude, Jimmy [Iovine] hits John [Meneilly] and says, ‘Can we get on a FaceTime with Jelly Roll and Dre?’ I’m like, ‘Dr. Dre?!’ I get on a FaceTime from my back porch. I’m like a kid! Jimmy’s there and I’m already like, ‘I cannot believe it’s Jimmy Iovine.’”

Lil Durk Revealed His Album Release Date Just Moments Before His Arrest

Lil Durk has had a much more difficult October than most, and while he had some highs, it’s largely been a series of unfortunate lows. Many fans looked forward to the release of his new album Deep Thoughts about halfway through the month, especially after confusion surrounding a fake Love Songs 4 The Streets 3 tracklist that surfaced online. Sadly, the album faced a delay, but the Chicago rapper had updated fans yesterday (Thursday, October 24) on its status. He announced on Instagram that the project will release on November 22… Mere hours before his arrest. And so, the bad luck continued.

If you weren’t already aware, U.S. Marshals arrested Lil Durk in Florida and charged him with alleged murder-for-hire. They transported him to the Broward County Correctional Facility according to XXL and DJ Akademiks, a development that surged after a California indictment referenced him. The prosecution’s story goes that Smurk allegedly hired five men with ties to his OTF crew to carry out a hit on Quando Rondo. The alleged hit failed back in 2022, and instead, a shooting took the life of Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab.

Lil Durk Announced Deep Thoughts Release Date Hours Before Arrest

Still, it’s very unclear at press time just how deep Lil Durk is in these allegations, as we don’t know if he was the one who allegedly called the shot or if it’s just from leadership association with OTF. Reportedly, he faces the death penalty or life in prison if convicted, and authorities are holding him without bond. The Voice’s lawyers, Brian Bieber and Alek Ubieta, claim that he will appear before a federal Fort Lauderdale court later today (Friday, October 25). The five alleged OTF affiliates in the aforementioned indictment were also reportedly arrested on similar charges.

According to The Chicago Tribune, the five men face accusations of allegedly being promised “lucrative music opportunities” for the hit and using OTF-affiliated credit cards to purchase plane tickets to California and rental cars. The feud with Quando Rondo allegedly occurred due to King Von’s death in 2020. Lul Tim faced charges for this, but the court dropped that case in 2023 on claims of self-defense. No other suspects have emerged since concerning Von’s shooting. In addition, alleged court documents claim that an OTF member wore a wire to gather information for federal authorities after a roughly 12-year prison stint. With all this in mind, the release of Deep Thoughts seems even more complicated.

DMX’s Posthumous Album “Let Us Pray: Chapter X” Gets A Release Date

The hip-hop world still misses DMX dearly, and while posthumous projects are always understandable causes for concern with fans, this time feels a little different. His estate recently announced his posthumous album Let Us Pray: Chapter X, which will consist of four tracks and its four respective instrumental versions. Instead of rapping, this will feature the New York native’s famous prayers and represent his spiritual side, accompanied by instrumentation from songwriter and producer Warryn Campbell. Let Us Pray drops on December 13. The album’s first single, “Favor” with Killer Mike as well as Mary Mary and RoyzNoyz Orchestra, is already available on streaming services.

Other guests on the album include Lecrae, MC Lyte, Snoop Dogg, Terrace Martin, and Lena Byrd-Miles. “Working on Let Us Pray: Chapter X has been one of the most fulfilling experiences for me as a creative,” Campbell expressed concerning the posthumous spoken-word album. “When you hear the voice of DMX, it inspires instant creativity and what better way to showcase who X really was than through prayer. I believe I can speak for MC Lyte, Killer Mike, Snoop Dogg, LeCrae, Mary Mary, Lena Byrd Miles, and Terrace Martin when I say it was an honor and privilege to be part of this amazing work.”

DMX’s Posthumous Let Us Pray: Chapter X Drops In December

Elsewhere, other media projects looking to preserve the legacy of DMX (real name Earl Simmons) brought up some apparent conflicts when it comes to his loved ones. His ex wife Tashera Simmons recently denied that she’s working with Irv Gotti on a biopic of X that he teased. “In light of recent speculation, we want to clarify that we are not currently working with Irv Gotti, nor have we agreed to partner with him on any content related to Earl Simmons, including a biopic,” she stated via Instagram.

This follows other moves from DMX’s estate to partner with Artist Legacy Group to “ensure that his message and music live on” through “innovative projects.” At press time, it’s unclear if Let Us Pray: Chapter X is a part of this partnership or if there are other honors on the way. Nevertheless, this new album might just be a very cathartic moment.

Lil Uzi Vert Announces “Eternal Atake 2” Release Date

Lil Uzi Vert fans have been waiting for Eternal Atake 2 for years now. Fortunately, however, it looks like they won’t have to wait too much longer. Recently, the release date for the highly anticipated project was finally unveiled on iTunes and Apple Music. It’s slated for release on November 1 and will feature 16 total tracks, according to NFR Podcast.

Of course, this is only a few days away, and social media users can’t wait. While the release date reveal is certainly exciting, it doesn’t necessarily come as a huge surprise. Last night, Uzi dropped the album cover on Instagram, along with a mysterious album trailer. Their bios on Instagram and Twitter/X were also changed to “ALL WHITE ALL WHITE ALL WHITE.”

Eternal Atake 2 Is Slated For Release On November 1

Earlier this week, the cover art for all of Uzi’s streaming releases was also updated on Apple Music and iTunes, and now features the Eternal Atake 2 logo. This coincided with the release of “Uzi the Earthling! (The TV Theme),” a 30-second intro for a non-existent show, which features no rapping. This prompted speculation that the album would be dropping sooner rather than later, which appears to have been an accurate assumption.

The news also arrives shortly after Uzi was spotted filming the trailer for the album in New York City. It’s been rumored that they’ve been finished with Eternal Atake 2 for some time now and that it was initially supposed to drop this month before being pushed back. This is unconfirmed at the time of writing. What do you think of Lil Uzi Vert finally unveiling the release date of Eternal Atake 2? Is it closer than you expected it would be? Are you looking forward to hearing it when it finally drops on November 1? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Ab-Soul Reveals Release Date & Cover Art For New Album “Soul Burger”

Earlier this month, Ab-Soul unveiled his new single, “Squeeze 1st 2.” The track set the tone for the rest of the TDE rapper’s upcoming album, which he officially announced today. The project, titled Soul Burger, is slated for release on November 8 of this year. Ab-Soul shared the news alongside a dramatic trailer for the project and revealed its simplistic cover art.

Reportedly, the project will be a tribute to Doe Burger, who passed away in late 2021. Fans can’t wait to hear what the artist has up his sleeve on his new project, which will follow his 2022 LP, Herbert. The announcement comes shortly after TDE Punch addressed rumors about Ab-Soul and some supposed tension with J Cole.

Ab-Soul’s New Album, Soul Burger, Drop On November 8

Earlier this month, HipHopDX’s Jeremy Hecht theorized that J Cole included Ab-Soul on a song as a shot at Kendrick Lamar. “Ab-Soul threw jabs at J. Cole after Cole did him dirty by adding him & Daylyt to a song with a verse dissing Kendrick on ‘Pi,’” he wrote. Punch clarified that this was not the case, instead saying that the song was recorded before “Like That” even dropped. “I hate to clear up rumors, I usually let them fester and see how far they go, but ALL verses on Pi were recorded long before Like That,” he said.

Hecht followed up at the time, claiming that he got this information from Glasses Malone, who apparently said it during a livestream. “Glad Punch clarified but just so everyone knows… I wasn’t making that theory up out of thin air.. Glasses Malone who is close to all of those people said on a livestream that Cole recorded that verse later and that Soul didn’t hear it. I was basing things off that,” he said. What do you think of Ab-Soul unveiling the album art and release date of his upcoming album, Soul Burger? Are you looking forward to hearing it when it drops on November 8? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Tyler The Creator Drops “CHROMAKOPIA” Release Date & Cover Art

Tyler The Creator shocked the world by teasing his new album CHROMAKOPIA yesterday (Wednesday, October 16), and in true Tyler fashion, he didn’t take long to deliver on the hype. He just announced that the album will drop on Monday, October 28, an exciting and curious decision due to this being a Monday release. Also, the Hawthorne creative unveiled what is presumably the cover art for the new LP: a picture of the unnamed, mysterious character featured in the visual tease. Whatever’s on the way, fans everywhere can’t wait to hear what world he transports them to next.

Of course, there are a lot of fan theories floating around as to Tyler, The Creator and his possible next vision and era. Some online users are already comparing the aesthetics of CHROMAKOPIA to other T releases such as IGOR and even CHERRY BOMB when it comes to the teased “ST. CHROMA” snippet from yesterday’s visual. The “VIRGINIA BOY” remixer is known for his quasi-conceptual or full-on narrative work, and with a new color palette, persona, and sonic style, it looks like we’re getting another record in that vein.

Tyler The Creator Unveils CHROMAKOPIA Release Date & Artwork

However, that’s the great thing about a Tyler, The Creator album: you don’t really know what to expect until the whole thing lands on your lap. If you’re excited to rep CHROMAKOPIA and support the rollout, pre-order bundles with CDs and commemorative boxes are now available, and you can click right here to get your merch. These include hoodies, T-shirts, hats, and more. Still, as surprising as this whole thing is, maybe we should’ve seen it coming when the multi-hyphenate complained about annoying fans asking for the album recently. Little did we know…

Meanwhile, there are also other projects on the horizon for Tyler The Creator that have other fans feeling just as excited. We’re talking about his role in an A24 film alongside Timothée Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow, under the direction of Josh Safdie. Marty Supreme is shaping up to be great, but CHROMAKOPIA has energized fans in the way that only a new era and album could. We’ll hear what Tyler shares with the world on October 28… Maybe a lead single is coming soon?

Pusha T Claims Clipse Album Is Finished As Fans Clamor For A Release Date

Clipse will finally reunite in full-length fashion on Let God Sort ‘Em Out, the upcoming album from brothers Pusha T and No Malice. However, there still isn’t a release date for it, and some fans are already scared that this is just a farce. Fortunately, AllHipHop‘s Chuck Creekmur caught up with the Virginia MCs at the VIP premiere of Pharrell’s new film Piece By Piece, and Push specifically gave fans an update on the LP’s status. “The album’s done,” he remarked. “So, the album’s done, we just [handling] all the logistics right now. It’s ready. So, as soon as it’s ready, y’all getting it. That’s it.”

“It’s time,” No Malice added to Creekmur concerning the Clipse reunion. “It’s time. The album is ready. The album is right. I feel it’s something that hip-hop has been missing. And we got it, so we ready.” Of course, this isn’t the first time that the duo’s spoken on the project or even suggested that it’s finished. There’s actually a mystery feature on the LP that has fans salivating, although we’ll have to wait and see who actually turns up on it.

Pusha T & No Malice Update Fans On Clipse Reunion

“It’s what rap should look like if you’re real about your craft, real about your experience, real about your storytelling,” No Malice told Vulture of the Clipse reunion album back in June. “It’s bringing the fans along to see the growth, not trying to fit in or fabricate. It just seems like in other genres of music, they have the luxury of growing. For some reason, we act like we’re not supposed to evolve. This is what the true evolution of the Clipse looks like. It’s just good to be able to show that and still have high-level raps.”

Meanwhile, whether or not that mystery feature lands or if it’s literally just Pusha T and No Malice, we can’t wait for what Clipse will bring on Let God Sort ‘Em Out. Maybe asking for a 2024 release date is too much, but if it is, then we’re sure that it will fit right in as one of 2025’s biggest rap moments. The fact that we can’t know for sure is what makes rap’s future very exciting. Hopefully there’s greatness right around the corner…

Tee Grizzley Reveals Features And Release Date For New Album “Post Traumatic”

Tee Grizzley has got momentum right now. The rapper generated lots of excitement with his new single, “Blow for Blow,” and he’s striking while the iron is hot. He took to social media on September 30 to reveal that his new album, Post Traumatic, is done. Not only that, but the highly-anticipated album will actually be dropping on Friday, October 4. Tee Grizzley went a step further with his announcement by revealing which artists are slated to appear on the album alongside him.

The one feature everybody knows is coming is J. Cole. The Dreamville founder stole the show on Tee Grizzley’s lead single, “Blow for Blow.” His verse is an absolute head spinner, and proves that Grizzley can get lyrical with the absolute best of them. J. Cole and Grizzley even dropped a music video, which you can check out here. The rest of the features on Post Traumatic, however, are just as exciting. Tee went out and snagged collaborations with a varied batch of artists, including G Herbo, YTB Fatt, and Future. There will also be guest appearances from stars like Hunxho, Tink, Fridayy, Baby Grizzley and Mariah the Scientist.

Tee Grizzley’s Album Is Dropping On October 4

That is a lot of talent for one album. Tee Grizzley talked about the collaborative process for his new album during a recent interview with Complex. He told the outlet that he initially linked up with J. Cole when the latter was touring with Drake. He wanted to make sure they found the perfect instrumental to link up, and “Blow for Blow” proved to be it. “Once we found it, bro, I just knew it was the one,” Grizzley recalled. “And I know that Cole is super talented.” Tee Grizzley also talked about the unique experience of working with Future in the studio.

Tee Grizzley told Complex that Future was full of musical ideas, and could seemingly riff for hours on end. This was a direct contrast to the working methodology of most artists that Grizzley had worked with prior. “What surprised me is he don’t run out,” the rapper explained. “A lot of people be like, ‘All right, it’s time to go.’ He could go. Nothing else really surprised me, I knew it was going to be a great experience. I look at Future as one of the greats.” We can’t wait to hear the album, and how Tee Grizzley sounds next to his impressive roster of features.
