Ray J is calling “shenanigans” on a recent viral clip from Hulu’s The Kardashians in which Kanye West allegedly returns a laptop containing Kim Kardashian’s sex tape to his ex-wife. In the clip taken from the third episode of the show, Kardashian breaks down in tears as West hands over the computer. “He got me all of the sex tape back,” she says. “And he flew home and he got the computer it was on and the hard drive. He met up with Ray J at the airport.”
However, Ray J apparently takes issue with this version of events, responding via a comment to an Instagram post of the clip. “All of this is a lie smh,” he wrote. “Can’t let them do this anymore – so untrue.” While he didn’t offer any additional explanation, he may be referring to the fact that the laptop in question reportedly didn’t have any more explicit content on it, as explained by Kardashian in a portion of the show after the clip cuts off. “It was just footage of us at a restaurant, at a nightclub. Nothing sexual, nothing weird.”
However, that statement also contradicts Kanye’s own account given during a January interview, while Ray J’s manager, Wack 100, claimed that there was “more graphic” content. While Kardashian initially refuted the claim to People magazine in January, the clip from the show seems to undermine that statement, as well. While the world may never know the truth, one thing is for sure: Most of the damage that could have been done probably already has been, and it seems everyone involved has already mostly moved on.
The Kardashian’s new show is set to hit Hulu this month. In the first episode of the series, YE received a tearful phone call from his ex-wife after their son Saint saw a report of a second sex tape with Ray J.
According to HipHopDX, the moment led Kardashian to move forward with her legal team and to send a threat of legal action if the tape, previously announced by Wack 100, would make its way to the Internet.
Back in September, Wack 100 threatened Kardashian and Kanye West with an NFT release of extra footage of the sex tape.
“All I know is Kanye, holla at me, bro. We got part 2 on the laptop. Ain’t never been seen. We’d love for you to have it,” Wack said to Bootleg Kev. “It’d be a great personal, private NFT.”

“This ain’t cool. I been staying off the Raydar – Just staying focused and being humble and thankful for all the blessings I’m receiving. How can I show off growth and maturity if this kinda of stuff keeps happening? I’m a father now and my job is to be a great parent and put them first. This is not the message I want to send out – smh.”

Kardashian’s lawyer, Marty Singer, responded to Wack 100’s claims. “The claim that there is an unreleased sex tape is unequivocally false. It is unfortunate that people make these statements to try and get their 15 minutes of fame,” Singer told TMZ.

This week, Ray J’s name has appeared in headlines a few more times than he probably expected. It began with Kanye West’s claim that he gave him a laptop that held a second sex tape he made with Kim Kardashian. That report was quickly refuted by Kim’s team, who claimed that a that tape was not on the laptop. Now, we’re learning Ray J had a meeting with former president Donald Trump. According to Page Six, the two met at Trump’s resort Mar-a-Lago to discuss ideas for entrepreneurs and young business professionals. Ray J also wanted to raise awareness for the political issues he is passionate about.
“I’ve always admired and respected his business acumen,” Ray J told Page Six. “Our conversation was about job creation, encouraging small business development and how Information Technology plays an important role in the future of our economy.” He continued, “We also agree how important an educated workforce is, as well as the critical need of developing of young people. I’m ready to get started now!” Page Six also reports that Ray J and Trump already have a follow-up meeting scheduled so that they can begin to put some of their ideas into action.
Speaking of Mar-A-Lago, it was just earlier this week that Trump demanded that a crowd applaud him during an appearance at the club. A video showed him “appearing in front of diners at his Mar-a-Lago resort and getting absolutely no reaction until he waggles his little hands at them.”
