Kai Cenat Defends 7-Day Prison Stream Against “Glorification” Backlash

Kai Cenat has passionately defended his recent weeklong jail livestream after many critics argued that he had glorified prison life. “Y’all n-ggas just going off the clips you saw. But were you there when we brought in the baddest kids in the community and sat down and spoke to them? What about the thousand times I said ‘hey this is bad, I don’t wanna be here’? Or me waking up at 6am shivering, back hurt, eating wack-ass food, saying this is why you don’t want to be here,” Cenat argued on a recent stream.

The issue for many people is that any good that Cenat did with the stream was undercut by the goofiness that went down over the stream’s runtime. Cenat had a myriad of famous guests. However, many of them seemingly didn’t get Cenat’s memo that it was meant to be a teaching moment. Chrisean Rock was rizzing chat, NLE Choppa was making rape jokes every chance he got, and a guy ran into a wall after a fake brawl. While his intentions may have been noble, Cenat’s execution clearly prioritized entertainment over any sort of moral lesson.

However, in more positive news, Cenat recently unveiled a new back tattoo. The new ink pays homage to his New York City origins. The piece includes two references to his AMP content house. “Any Means Possible” is written across his shoulder blades and the AMP logo on his lower back. However, the rest of the piece is all New York. The Statue of Liberty can be prominently seen, as can a New York subway car. Furthermore, there is a large street sign labeled The Bronx with a pair of Tims hanging from it.

Cenat’s identity is firmly linked to his origins in New York. A New Yorker through and through, the streamer has a deep love for the city. However, the city hasn’t always loved him back. Earlier this year, Cenat was arrested for causing a small riot in Union Square. The incident came about as a result of Cenat announcing an impromptu meetup and giveaway without clearing it with law enforcement or city officials.

Kai Cenat Prison Stream: Tee Grizzley Knocked Out After Running Into Wall

Things got a little serious on the final day of Kai Cenat’s prison livestream. During a brawl in the cafeteria, rapper Tee Grizzley sustained a head injury after running away from the fight. While retreating, Tee slipped and fell directly into a wall, going limp for several seconds. While he did appear to regain consciousness soon after, it was a pretty scare moment. As he was helped away, people pointed out that there was now a visible hole in the plaster where Tee had hit it. Furthermore, all the roleplaying stopped as people crowded around Tee to make sure he was okay.

Cenat wrapped his 7-day livestream yesterday. The full week of prison-based shenanigans featured a ton of celebrities joining Cenat and the AMP crew for the fun. Did you watch the livestream? What were your thoughts on it? What do you think Cenat’s next big stunt is going to be? Let us know in the comments.

NLE Choppa Gets Weird On Cenat Livestream

However, Tee’s injury wasn’t the first awkward moment for the livestream. In the first few days, there was a slightly uncomfortable moment featuring NLE Choppa. For some people, seemingly Cenat included, felt that Choppa took things a little too far. At one point in the stream, Choppa went full method acting. “Imma f-ck him. I’m not gonna let him play with my booty hole,” Choppa screamed as Cenat watched on in confusion. Later in the stream, Choppa made a big show of “dropping the soap” in the showers. Overall, Choppa got a little into one of the darker sides of the prison experience.

Elsewhere in the stream, the pair performed Nicki Minaj’s Drake collab “Moment 4 Life”. The 2010 hit, which peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100, is about two childhood friends realizing they had “made it”. It’s something of a bizarre choice for a prison livestream but then again, a prison roleplay livestream is bizarre enough in and of itself.

NLE Choppa Gets Weird On Kai Cenat’s Prison Livesteram, They Sing “Moment 4 Life” Together

Kai Cenat and NLE Choppa joined forces for Cenat’s latest bizarre livestream – a live-action prison roleplay stream. Along with Cenat’s usual crew, the pair play-acted as prison cellmates while streaming from an actual decommissioned prison. However, some people, seemingly Cenat included, felt that Choppa took things a little too far. At one point in the stream, Choppa went full method acting. “Imma f-ck him. I’m not gonna let him play with my booty hole,” Choppa screamed as Cenat watched on in confusion.

Nicki Minaj Clarifies Relationship With Cenat

Furthermore, speaking of Minaj, she recently had to clarify her relationship with Cenat after some fans felt she was a little too flirty with the streamer on a recently Instagram Live. “The fact that some people still don’t understand me and Kai relationship chi. We from the same county, we can both take it. Pauz. Or my relationship with funny Marco. Some people be thinking Marco is a random crazy man on the live. Like that man is a star with his own brand.” She continued, “But y’all I just peeped that they aggravate me just like Akbar do every time and yet I still add them to my lives. They get on my nerves how they be getting on my nerves. And JT, Flex, Joe,” Minaj said in an Instagram post.

However, she’s not the only one speaking on Cenat as of late. GloRilla recently broke her silence on blocking Cenat on social media. “Don’t come on my Live asking me about nobody I done blocked. They blocked and they gonna stay there. You made your bed you gotta lay there,” she said on a recent livestream. GloRilla blocked the streamer after he dropped some incredibly harsh criticisms of her latest track. Cenat went as far as to say that he felt betrayed by the rapper’s latest musical offering.
