Meek Mill Shares Key To Getting Out Of Poverty

Meek Mill says “being smart” is the key to getting out of poverty. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the Too Good to Be True rapper shared advice for his followers. He says that “being gangsta” is the wrong path forward.

“Being gangsta will get you hurt put in jail or killed …… being smart will get you out of poverty and your family and friends living better … it’s no comparison, being smart is the only solid way out the trenches… everything else is wide range life risk just to survive!” Meek wrote.

Fans praised Meek for the advice. One wrote that he should keep the same mindset while making music. “Remember this next time you write Meek. No more ‘I got a hundred shooters in ma block.’ There’s a straight line between the hit records out here and the news headlines,” they said. “We all can do better.” Another wrote: “Preach!
