The hitmaker shared three carousels on Instagram, which put together, spell out “Act One.” The photos’ captions also read “Let’s begin [snake emoji]” when combined. Her photos consist of her posing with snakes, rocking vampire teeth, and otherwise dressed up as some sort of reptilian creature. It remains unclear exactly what the posts were meant to signify, but of course, fans are speculating.

Some commenters think the posts mark the start of Meg’s annual Halloween celebration, which she dubbed #hottieween2022 last year. Others, however, think her posts go far deeper. “I sense a new era,” one commenter notes. Several others shared similar suspicions, claiming that Meg might be on the cusp of her Reputation era.

Megan Thee Stallion Shares Spooky New IG Posts

Meg is no stranger to leaning into spooky season, but she appears to be taking things to a whole new level this year. She already donned her famous jack-o’-lantern mask a couple weeks back. Ebro Laments The Lack Of Artists Thanking Hip-Hop On Its 50th Birthday

The foundation that sonic innovators and entertainers stand on is every bit as important as what these figures create from it. Ebro knows this, and expressed disappointment with many artists who didn’t take the time to acknowledge that. Moreover, this refers specifically to hip-hop recently celebrating its 50th birthday, and artists within the genre not releasing any statements or tributes about it. “Making all this $$$ because of HipHop and artists can’t even post a ‘Thank You’ …” the media personality wrote on Twitter on Monday (August 14). Whether his comments accurately reflect the response to the genre’s five decades in the cultural sphere is a debate for the comments.

After all, there have been plenty of MCs, producers, executives, and other hip-hop figures who celebrated this milestone. For example, there are tribute shows, media projects like music, film, and beyond, plus an avalanche of written or recorded testimonies on it. In fact, an age bias probably factors in here, since many artists that engaged with this history have more experience than contemporary leaders. Maybe Ebro is specifically calling out people who generally don’t make it clear how much they owe to past legends.

Ebro Calls Out People Not Honoring Hip-Hop’s 50th

Regardless, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, given that the radio host is often dishing out reflections on the culture. Most recently, he caused an online stir when he called Drake out for not speaking out on more social issues. “Y’all know I’m the biggest Drake fan on this show,” Ebro told co-hosts on Apple’s Rap Life Review show. “Drake has never shown up to have anything to say about anything going on in society with Black folks or anything other than himself.”

Of course, plenty of people agreed with him, but a whole lot of folks were quick to push back, as well. Eventually, he clarified his comments and stated that he only compared the 6 God’s output to others because Drake criticized “This Is America” by Childish Gambino. Still, it made many think about what artists can do better when it comes to their platform, and the same can be said about honoring this genre. Offset Shares Loving Mother’s Day Post For Cardi B

Offset celebrated his wife, Cardi B, on Mother’s Day by sharing a group of pictures of their family on Instagram. The post comes after several of Cardi’s other family members uploaded tributes for her online. Cardi and Offset share two children together, Kulture and Wave.

“Happy Mother’s Day my beautiful wife such a great mother you went against everything for our babies and still was able to balance it all out! I love you 4ever and 4L,” Offset captioned the post. Cardi B responded in the comments section, “Thanks baby….Thank you for making me a mommy.”

Cardi wasn’t the only mother in Offset’s life he took the time to honor on Sunday. For his own mom, he wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day mama my hero my strength my heart my soul! I Love You.” Cardi also labeled her a “Super mom” in the comments. As for Cardi, she also posted her own pictures with her children for Mother’s Day. She captioned them, “My favorite holiday, I birth my best friends….. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY BEAUTIFULS.”

Cardi and Offset welcomed their first child, Kulture, back in 2018. They announced they were expecting a son, Wave, in 2021. Cardi additionally helps raise three of Offset’s children from previous relationships. Last month, Cardi also partnered with Walmart to share tips for young mothers. In doing so, she spoke about safe nail care, keeping a surplus of pacifiers, and how to calm down a crying baby.

Cardi B posted a series of photos and videos of herself with her own children. She shares two kids with her husband, Offset.

Another celebrity to draw attention with their Mother’s Day post was former NFL quarterback Tom Brady. He honored both of his exes, Gisele Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan. “Happy Mothers Day to all these amazing women who have given our family so much throughout their lives. Thank you all for your love, compassion and kindness, and for setting such an amazing example for all of our little ones,” Brady wrote. He added that he’s “so grateful for your support and helping us all achieve our dreams.”

Cam’ron also shared a post for his late mother on the holiday. He revealed that he’s been working on a tribute song for her for three months. “I know i make this shit look easy…but it ain’t,” Cam captioned a photo of himself with his mother as well as a teary-eyed video from the studio. “I miss my mom man.. been tryna finish this song for 3 months and I just start crying before I can finish the first verse. Ima finish this shit today tho. Love and miss you mom.”
