Rihanna Stars In New Dior Perfume Ad: Watch

Rihanna has teamed up with Dior to become the newest face of J’Adore. In doing so, she shared her first advertisement with the brand on social media on Sunday. In the commercial, she poses in the iconic Mirror Of Halls in Versailles. The piece was shot by her long-time friend, Steven Klein. “Your dreams… make them real,” she says in the ad as well as her caption to the post.

Rihanna discussed the collaboration with ELLE UK for an interview published on Sunday as well. “I always enjoy working with Steven. Even with all he’s accomplished, he still has such a genuine, pure, child-like passion for his art,’ she told the outlet. ‘It’s such a joy to work with artists like him! And full circle to be back at Versailles for Dior with Steven Klein! Dream team baby!” She also discussed her love for the brand as a whole. “I have always loved this perfume. My mother worked in a perfume shop and she used to bring home the testers when they were almost empty. There was always a bottle of J’Adore in the house,” she revealed.

When Rihanna shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), fans joked about her continued lack of new music. “I thought this was new music announcement until I saw the j’adore Dior hashtag…,” one fan wrote. Another added: “The dream is for you to drop an album and for Rocky to drop an album and so far neither of them have came true…”

Nicki Minaj was surprised to learn that her Pink Friday 2 perfume was already available at JCPenny when fans showed it off on Twitter, last week. Over the course of a series of posts on the platform, she came to realize she was out of the loop.

“I had no idea. Was informed of nothing. Didn’t get a link to post. just woke up one day & boom!” Minaj wrote, responding to one fan who alerted her. “Saw y’all discussing it. Noreen from my fragrance co advised that she’ll be getting back to me w/answers on this right away. Apparently she had no clue either. Go figure.”

When another fan showed off that they got the perfume in person, Minaj wrote: “Oh wow. So not only was that link real but it’s physically in STORES?!?!!!!! Wow. Well boo, thank you for your support. I don’t even have the official box ORRR bottle yet. I was told it would be on Amazon 1st & JCPenny following week or2 but maybe plans did the ol switcheroo.” In her next post, she added: “There clearly was some sort of mix up; but make no mistake, we are honored & grateful to have my official #PinkFriday2PERFUME @ #JCPenny I’ll get back to you guys to confirm the Amazon release date.” Check out the posts on Twitter below.

Beyonce Releases CE NOIR Perfume

One of the most iconic names in all of music, Beyonce, is having a busy year per usual. Her mega-successful Renaissance World Tour just came to a close not too long ago. At the end of the year, she will be putting out her concert film for it. It looks to rival the release of another powerhouse, Taylor Swift, and her recent movie for her Eras Tour. The trailer for Beyonce’s feature film got a lot of buzz and for good reason. It looks to be a fantastic behind-the-scenes look at everything that had to happen for the tour to be as big a spectacle as it was.

To round out her 2023 calendar, she is now giving fans the chance to purchase her new perfume, CE NOIR. It is currently on sale on her website perfume.beyonce.com. For now, at least, there is only one size available for people to get their hands on. It is a 1.7 oz bottle that will run $160. This perfume was being teased and tested throughout the Renaissance shows.

Beyonce Reveals Trailer For Her CE NOIR Perfume

You can check out the trailer for the new eau de parfum trailer above. According to HipHopNMore, the several “crafted and designed” scents from Beyonce are as follows. “Top: clementine, golden honey. Heart: rose absolute, jasmine sambac. Base: Namibian myrrh, golden amber.” If you are a Queen Bey super fan, you would know that she had two previous efforts with perfumes in the early 2010s. It all started with her Heat scent and now, 13 years later, we have a third product from her.
