If you have been watching the news lately, then you know that the Titanic Submersible has been a huge story. Although, it is a big story for all of the wrong reasons. Essentially, give men embarked on a huge trip down to the Titanic wreckage. This tourist expedition cost $250K and was being operated by OceanGate Expeditions. Overall, it was not a safe thing to do, and the vessel itself was already under scrutiny. However, things ultimately took quite a turn as the submersible lost contact with those communicating with it.

For the last few days, both the United States and Canada have been trying to look for the submersible. This mission has been a difficult one, especially since no one knows what truly happened. Although, some believed that they were simply stuck and about to run out of oxygen. Today, however, it was revealed that some debris was found not far from where the Titanic wreckage is. This had many believing that the submersible had just imploded at a certain depth.

Titanic Submersible Debris Found

This afternoon, OceanGate offered a statement on the expedition. It was here that they confirmed that all five passengers of the Titanic Submersible are dead. With the debris having been found, they are almost positive that the sub imploded and that everyone on board died instantly. Overall, it is a massive tragedy that certainly could have been avoided. Either way, this is horrible news for all of the families of those who were on that vessel.

Now that this information has been divulged, it will be interesting to see where OceanGate goes from here. Their CEO Stockton Rush was actually on the submersible, and some are already blaming him for cutting costs. Coast Guard States Five Titanic Explorers Are Lost As Sub Had 'Catastrophic Implosion'

All of the lives aboard the OceanGate submersible are believed to be lost as a debris field has been discovered 1600 feet away from the Titanic. The submersible vehicle is believed to have been a “catastrophic implosion.”

“We now believe that our CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding, and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, have sadly been lost,” OceanGate said in a statement.

“These men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world’s oceans,” the statement continued. “Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time. We grieve the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew.”

The submersible lost contact an hour and 45 minutes after submerging on Sunday morning with a 96-hour oxygen supply. According to ABC News, that air supply was set to expire Thursday morning, and the ship would rise back to the surface in case of emergency. The specific time of the implosion is currently undetermined.

American, Canadian, and French ROVs were searching the sea floor for the sub and its occupants. On June 21, unidentified noise was detected on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, however Rear Admiral of the U.S. Coast Guard stated the portion of the ocean where the debris field is located is remote, and the sound was not picked up by officials.

The vessel, named the Titan, owned and operated by OceanGate Expeditions was remote-operated and could travl 4,000 meters (13,123 feet) deep and weighted 23,000 pounds. Inside the sub was the company’s founder and CEO, Stockton Rush. The company had its first venture in 2018, traveling 4,000 meters. In 2023, OceanGate began to sell tickets for going to view the Titanic, which the tragic trip costing $250,000 a ticket.

The Titan was not approved or certified by any proper regulatory group, and a 2018 letter highlighted the risks of the sub. Sub-experts wrote a letter highlighting potential “catastrophic” problems, which could lead to “serious consequences for everyone in the industry.”

Titanic Search: Debris Field Found Near Shipwreck

If you have been following the news as of late, then you know that the Titanic Search has been quite the story. Of course, we are talking about the OceanTate submersible that went missing earlier in the week. Overall, some extremely wealthy people paid $250K in order to be able to visit the Titanic. Although you would think this could be fun, it turned out not to be. Instead, the submersible quickly lost touch with base command, and the search has been on ever since.

This morning, the 96 hours of allotted oxygen ran out. Ultimately, this means that the men in the submersible are dead. While there is no 100 percent confirmation of this, it seems pretty reasonable to assume. Of course, there are multiple theories as to what happened here. One is that the hull of the submersible had a gap in it which caused the ocean pressure to implode the thing from the inside out. Consequently, the men would be dead instantly. However, if they got stuck on something, they would simply suffocate to death.

Titanic Search Continues On

According to a report from TMZ, officials have noted that this morning, they found some debris near the Titanic search site. Of course, the officials have no true way of really knowing what this debris is actually from. However, some are already speculating that it could be from the submersible. For now, though, we simply just don’t know.

Rick Ross is like many of our readers in the sense that they want to know more about the missing submersible that is in the Atlantic Ocean right now. Overall, the story is quite shocking. Essentially, some billionaires paid $250K so that they could explore the wreckage of the Titanic. Although this is extremely dangerous, they did it anyway. Earlier in the week, the submersible completely lost contact with the outside world. This has subsequently led to a massive rescue mission that has yet to show any success.

In fact, this morning, the oxygen for these men completely ran out. No matter what, it seems obvious that they are dead. However, no one knows if their submersible imploded or if it simply got lost and the passengers suffocated. That being said, Rick Ross is curious about some of the elements at play here. For instance, he took to social media where he had a question about the whole thing. As you will see, he is curious about the lack of fail-safes for this expedition.

Rick Ross noted that he feels bad for all of the parties involved. Additionally, he had a question about the tracking systems in place. In his eyes, it makes no sense that the submersible wasn’t attached to some sort of rope. That way, they could have pulled it out of the ocean after it lost contact. Although this may seem like a good idea, that would require a whole lot of rope. Additionally, there would need to be a massive rig to help pull that much rope and a submersible out of the water.

Recently, Brian Szasz attended a Blink-182 concert. Without context, that sounds like a fun and innocuous night out. However, Szasz is the stepson of British billionaire Hamish Harding, who is one of the passengers on the submersible vehicle from OceanGate Expeditions, which is currently missing after embarking on a journey to see the sunken Titanic. So, Szasz enjoying a rock show amid this serious situation raised some eyebrows, including those of Cardi B. It turns out Szasz didn’t care for what Cardi had to say.

In a video shared on her Instagram Story yesterday (June 20), Cardi said in part, “People was like, ‘Well, what is he supposed to do? Be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him?’ Yes. You’re supposed to be at the house, sad. You’re supposed to be crying for me. You’re supposed to be right next to the phone, waiting to hear any updates about me.”

Szasz clapped back on Twitter today, writing, “@iamcardib What a pos trashy celeb. Cardi B trying to get clout off me and my families suffering. I went to a Blink 182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news. Shame on you Cardi get some class!” He added in another tweet, “Cardi B We know all your latest releases are trash but is your career this desperate for attention now??”

The missing Titanic tourist submersible has everyone talking. While there’s still no telling where the five missing passengers, who took an undersea voyage in the submarine to see the remnants of the Titanic, may be, several people have taken to social media to express concern.

Last night (June 21), Nicki Minaj took to her Amp radio show Queen Radio to express concern and dismay over the idea of taking a submarine to see the remains of the sunken ship.

“No one should be hopping they ass on a submarine talking ’bout they going down to the Titanic,” she said.

But despite her disapproval of the activity, Minaj sent well wishes to the missing passengers and offered prayers for their safe return.

“I’m keeping all five passengers in my prayers and wishing all the best to search and rescue teams,” she said. “I just hope everyone stays safe.”

Earlier, in a since-deleted tweet, Minaj expressed shock that such a tourist activity was even open for people to participate in.

“Praying they make it back to their families,” she said. “This is so scary and should not be allowed. Like wtf? I just assumed they were marine biologists…finding out this was a ‘tourist’ ‘Titanic’ thing??????”

Cardi B has an issue with the ongoing Titanic submersible situation.

In case you haven’t been on the internet at all over the past few days, here’s what’s happening: A submersible vehicle from OceanGate Expeditions set out on a voyage to view the underwater wreckage of the Titanic. The vessel, which has five people aboard, has since been reported missing. Given that there is a limited amount of air left inside the submersible, this has become a life-or-death situation. Since that news broke, it was revealed that Brian Szasz, the stepson of British billionaire and currently missing submersible passenger Hamish Harding, attended a Blink-182 concert amid all this. He explained, “It might be distasteful being here but my family would want me to be at the Blink-182 show as it’s my favorite band and music helps me in difficult times!”

Cardi, it turns out, doesn’t quite agree with his reasoning.

In a video shared on her Instagram Story last night (June 20), Cardi (being virtually held by a skinless man, for some reason) said, “People was like, ‘Well, what is he supposed to do? Be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him?’ Yes. You’re supposed to be at the house, sad. You’re supposed to be crying for me. You’re supposed to be right next to the phone, waiting to hear any updates about me. […] Like, isn’t it sad that you a whole f*ckin’ billionaire and nobody gives a f*ck about you? Cardi B is someone who has never shied away from commenting on some of the biggest events of the day. Overall, she has a massive platform, and she uses it when she can. Just like many of us, she is riveted by the story about the men who are trapped on a submersible in the Atlantic Ocean. OceanGate Expeditions was on a trip to the Titanic wreckage. Within the submersible were a few billionaires who had paid $250K to be there. However, the sub has lost contact and no one knows where it is. This has subsequently led to a massive search party.

No one can stop talking about this on social media. However, most people are making light of the situation. Although there are people taking it seriously, there is no doubt some don’t care for the well-being of these men. Not to mention, the stepson of a lost passenger Hamish Harding, went to a Blink-182 concert in the middle of this fiasco. Overall, some felt this was in poor taste. Interestingly enough, Cardi B agrees with that sentiment. Below, she revealed that if she were in that situation, she would want all of her family and friends to be focused on finding her.
