Lil Yachty joined Kai Cenat as the latest big-name musical star to guest on the creator’s stream. The two made a unique entrance, appearing on stream in matching Nocta sweatsuits. It’s unsurprising that they went with the brand, given how close both men are with Drake.

However, it’s just yet another massive link-up for Cenat. Earlier in December, a picture circulated online showing Cenat chilling with Travis Scott. While it’s unclear if they’ve met previously, Scott did co-sign Cenat’s plea to get IShowSpeed unbanned on Twitch earlier this year. The recent link-up has fans hoping that Scott will be Cenat’s next big-name stream guest. While Cenat has been climbing the streaming mountain for years, 2023 has definitely seen him shoot into the stratosphere. This is especially the case in regards to the level of talent and fame that he is able to get on stream as collaborators.

Furthermore, it’s been a pretty busy few weeks for Cenat in terms of his content. To kick off December, Cenat took to his stream to buy counterfeit Birkins for three massive influencers. Cenat called up Rubi Rose, Corinna Kopf, and Pokimane while streaming, asking each of them what color Birkin Bag they wanted him to buy for them. All the while, Cenat shows his chat that he is buying the bags from Temu. Temu is a Chinese-owned shopping site similar to AliExpress and is notorious for scams and counterfeit goods. It experienced a wave in popularity earlier this year.

It’s notable that Rose was one of the women that Cenat that “treated”. She has been an object of affection for a number of streamers in recent weeks. She recently linked up with N3on, with their semi-flirtatious exchanges sparking rumors that the pair were romantically involved. However, she would later refer to him as a “Make-A-Wish Kid” on multiple occasions during their link-up.

Drake’s love of basketball is well-documented, from his friendships with NBA stars to his noted gambling habit to his alleged purchase of $100,000 rings to celebrate a championship win in his rec league.

So, it’s only natural that his clothing line with Nike, NOCTA, would eventually get a line of basketball apparel and gear, along with a campaign featuring NBA all-star Kevin Durant. Durant previously appeared in Drake’s “Laugh Now, Cry Later” video featuring Lil Durk, which was shot at Nike’s Oregon headquarters campus. Here’s how you can get your hands on the new collection before it inevitably sells out and ends up on StockX for triple the price.

You can pull up (heh) on Nocta.com to check out the options currently in stock, which include basketball jerseys (of course) and shorts (absolutely), basketballs (naturally), shoes (they are Zoom Flight 95s, fam, just get those instead), base layer tops (why not), shooting sleeves (alright), socks (sure), and a “sideline trench” jacket (oh… kay). There are also tights, briefs, and caps if you want to go all out on the Drake-branded apparel thing, and a $400 Goretex rain jacket, which — where the hell are you planning to play? The usual assortment of sweats, tees, and the like are also on display, including pants with a Swarovski crystal Swoosh logo.

Dog, I swear, if you show up at a run with those on, you better play like Kevin Durant. Guys around my way aren’t having it.

Moreover, they have lost some games to teams like the San Antonio Spurs, which has led to quite a bit of concern over whether or not the team is any good. Needless to say, there are a lot of questions left unanswered.

Now, however, Kevin Durant seems to be trying to get into his modeling bag. In the Instagram post below, we can see Durant participating in a photoshoot for NOCTA. Drake’s Nike imprint has made huge waves over the last few years. They have dropped a ton of dope collections, and now, they have another on the way.
