J. Cole Shows Up at Fan’s College Graduation

J. Cole keeps it real when it comes to his fans.

The Dreamville rapper surprised one of his most loyal supporters when he showed up to her college graduation, nearly a decade after first meeting her.

Back in 2013, Cierra Bosarge-Fussell called into a local radio station with the hopes that Cole would come to her high school and wish her a happy birthday.

Three months later, she received a call from Cole, who invited her to meet him in person in Philadelphia, where she presented him with a letter she had written for him years prior.

“In the letter it says all I went through,” Bosarge told Complex at the time. “With being adopted, my parents being hooked on drugs, in and out of prison. At the time both parents were in prison so I asked him could he come to my graduation since they can’t.”

Cole told Cierra he would attend her high school graduation if she kept her grades up and got into a four-year university. Two years after their meeting, Cole kept his promise and attended Cierra’s high school graduation.

And he was there again when Cierra graduated from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey on Wednesday, much to the surprise of her fellow students.

Cierra shared photos from the emotional day when she received her college diploma as Cole cheered from the crowd.

“this is for all the fans that waited, the bitch ni**as that hated, old hoes we dated, look mama, we made it,” she wrote in her caption, quoting lyrics from Cole’s 2012 hit “Nobody’s Perfect.”

Cole’s manager Ibrahim Hamad also congratulated her, writing, “Congrats on your accomplishment, you deserve it!! Love to see it.”

Kanye West Told Kim Kardashian Her ‘Career’s Over’ After ‘Marge Simpson’ Outfit

Kim Kardashian felt lost without Kanye West’s fashion advice.

During Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” the SKIMS mogul opened up about feeling insecure while styling herself for the WSJ’s Innovator Awards in November, which marked the first time in almost a decade that she had styled herself without input from her husband.

“I got to a point where I would ask [Kanye] for advice for everything down to what I wear. Even now I’m having panic attacks, like, what do I wear?” Kim told her sister Kourtney Kardashian, according to Yahoo!

Kim admitted to being “so nervous” while choosing her outfit, opting for a faux leather dress from her SKIMS x Fendi collection. But her self-styled look was not well received by her ex, who compared it to Marge Simpson.

“[Kanye] called me afterwards. He told me my career’s over and then he showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar,” Kim said.

She went on to reveal that she had “never really been the visionary” when it came to fashion and that West was instrumental in everything including her wardrobe, hair, and makeup.

“That’s his love language is clothes,” she explained. “I always just trusted in him, but it’s not just about clothes. That was, like, the last thing we had really in common.”

Kim shared that she felt insecure without Ye’s guidance. “I’m trying to figure out, like, who am I in the fashion world? Who am I by myself? I was always, like, The Kardashians with my sisters and then I was, like, Kimye. Like, who is Kim K? That is the jump. How do I get there without Kanye?”

In a previous episode, Kim revealed that Ye was ready to quit his career and become her stylist full-time. “Kanye wants to quit everything and dedicate his life to being my stylist,” she told a friend.
