Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon’s Son Moroccan Makes Rap Debut At Kansas City Tour Stop

12-year-old Moroccan Scott, the son of Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon, has made his live rap debut. Moroccan appeared on stage in Kansas City alongside his mother on her “Merry Christmas One And All” Tour. Moroccan dropped some solid bars as his mom nodded along approvingly beside him. With Carey as his mom and Cannon as his dad, it makes sense that Moroccan would have inherited some musical talent.

Of course, as November becomes December, it has become Carey’s time to shine. Many memes have been made about how she has unthawed and is preparing to bombard the world with “All I Want For Christmas”. Carey and Cannon have another child, Monroe, who is Moroccan’s twin. Moroccan Scott and his sister Monroe are currently 12 years old.

Nick Cannon Says Mariah Cary “Saved His Life”

Elsewhere, Cannon recently made some big revelations about Carey. “She was my rock. She went hard. To be honest, I probably wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for how hard she went with the doctors, with me, my stubbornness. She was the perfect helpmate, the perfect matriarch, the perfect mom, the perfect wife in those scenarios. It probably took a toll on us just because of the person I was in my head and the struggles that I was dealing with. But it definitely brought us closer together,” Cannon said in regards to his lupus diagnosis on The Diary Of A CEO podcast.

“I absolutely do,” Cannon confirmed when asked if he felt as if Carey had “saved his life”. “But that’s what you do when you find a helpmate. When you find someone that you’re in matrimony with, you go hard for [them]. I feel like I went hard for her and we’ll still go hard — I lay down my life for her today. That’s what you do, it’s just family,” he continued. Carey and Cannon were together for eight years before going their separate ways. Cannon later developed a reputation as a baby daddy, with his kid count in the double digits.

Nick Cannon Aspires To Start Family Band, Mariah Carey Won’t Let Her Twins Share The Spotlight: Source

If you’ve been wondering why Nick Cannon has fathered so many children over the past few years, it seems an answer is finally coming to light – the California native has big plans of starting a family band. Radar Online published the report early on Friday (June 9) morning, revealing that Cannon is under the impression his offspring would be a “mega success” in the spotlight. Despite his confidence, however, ex-wife Mariah Carey reportedly isn’t on board with the project at this time.

“Nick was sure his kids could make millions as a band, but Mariah poured cold water on his dream,” an insider recently dished to the outlet. “She’s opposed to her children sharing the spotlight with Nick’s nine other kids from five different women,” they added. Neither parent has publicly addressed the gossip at this time, though we have seen their 12-year-old twins make appearances on their social media over the years.

It’s becoming increasingly obvious that they have at least some of their parent’s charisma. Of course, only time will tell if either Morrocan or Monroe has pipes like Mariah or comedy chops like Cannon. It remains unclear how the Wild ‘N Out host’s other co-parents – Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, LaNisha Cole, Bre Tiesi, and Alyssa Scott – feel about their little ones getting in on the musical action. However, seeing as many of the children are still learning how to walk and talk, it’ll likely be some time before they move on to dancing and singing.

News of the family band comes just months after it was revealed that Mariah Carey planned to seek primary custody of her two children, seeing as they apparently spend most of their time with her anyway. Do you think that Nick Cannon could find further success by starting a band with all of his children? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Mariah Carey Allegedly Wants Primary Custody Of Twins With Nick Cannon

It’s an even dozen for Nick Cannon—the number of children he has, that is—but his first two arrived with Mariah Carey. The former couple divorced back in 2014 but have seemingly maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship as they raise their twins, Monroe and Moroccan. Cannon recently welcomed his 12th child into the world, making it his second with model Alyssa Scott. Additionally, their newborn daughter follows a string of children recently born to Cannon by Brittney Bell, Abby De La Rosa, LaNisha Cole, and Bre Tiesi.

Carey doesn’t speak much about her co-parenting relationship with Cannon. However, Radar Online reported that she is looking into seeking primary custody of their twins.

The outlet reportedly spoke with “sources” who confirmed that Cannon’s unrelenting desire to have more children is causing concern.

“The reality of the situation is that Monroe and Moroccan are usually with Mariah anyway. Nick doesn’t see much of them,” said the source. The person also added that Cannon is a “doting father.”

“But she wants to put him on notice that he can’t just flit in and out of their lives while he attends to his other children. And she wants legal standing as the twins’ primary caregiver.”

Recently, rumors spread that Carey wanted Cannon to spend more time with their twins. During a recent interview with The Check-Up, the Wild ‘N Out mogul admitted that he struggles to balance his schedule with so many children and families.

“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he said. “One, ’cause I’m constantly working, and two, because I’m just spread thin.”
