Michigan Dominates Washington to Win National Title

The John Harbaugh-led Michigan Wolverines are your 2024 National Champions. The Wolverines blew out the No. 2 Washington Huskies 34-13 in Monday’s title game at NRG Stadium.

The wire-to-wire win was kicked off by two massive touchdown runs by Wolverines running back Donovan Edwards. He finished with 103 yards and two touchdowns.

“I feel like this has been the perfect happy ending,” said Edwards. “A lot of personal success, a lot of personal failures, but our ultimate goal was to win a national championship. … There’s no other feeling than to go through what we have and still come out on top. So perfect story, a lot of adversity — coach Harbaugh’s not there for six games — perfect story.”

The Wolverines were surrounded by a sign-stealing scheme throughout the year, which appears to be an afterthought now that Harbaugh has dominantly secured a national title. Harbaugh maintained the program’s innocence but spoke more about what the championship means for him.

“For me personally, I can now sit at the big person’s table in the family,” said Harbaugh. “They won’t keep me over there on the little table anymore. My dad, Jack Harbaugh, won a national championship and my brother won a Super Bowl. It’s good to be at the big person’s table from now on.”

SOURCE SPORTS: Colin Kaepernick To Be Honorary Captain for Michigan’s Spring Game

TMZ reports that the production team for Colin Kaepernick's Netflix series had to enforce extra security measures after being threatened by the Proud Boys.

Collin Kaepernick was back on the football field this week. While it wasn’t an NFL field, Kaepernick visited his former San Francisco 49ers’ head coach John Harbaugh.

The Michigan Wolverines announced Wednesday that Kaepernick has been with the team this week and will serve as honorary captain for Saturday’s spring game.

Harbaugh has named Kaepernick an honorary captain for Michigan’s upcoming Maize and Blue spring game. Harbaugh brought Kaepernick to Michigan’s practice yesterday and had him address the team.

Harbaugh was the 49ers’ head coach when they drafted him in 2011, and after Harbaugh benched Alex Smith for Kaepernick in 2012, the 49ers went to the Super Bowl. Kaepernick played his best football for Harbaugh in the four years they were together, and Kaepernick didn’t have as much success with the 49ers the next two years.

Harbaugh has always been a loud supporter of Kaepernick. He has always expressed to the media how Kaepernick is a great leader on and off the football field. While NFL teams haven’t shown much interest in Kaepernick, he is still putting in that work.
