Radio Host Puts Jimmy Butler On Blast

Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat were dismantled by the Atlanta Hawks in the play-in tournament. The Heat will have one more chance to earn a playoff spot as they await the winner of Chicago and Toronto. Heat fans didn’t expect this team to be a play-in caliber team at the beginning of the season. The Heat have made the Eastern Conference Finals two times in the last three seasons. Now it looks like the team will need a miracle to make it three out of four. As a result, SiriusXM NBA Radio host Justin Termine had a lot to say about the Heat. Including that, a lot of the blame for this season’s failure should be on Jimmy Butler.

“Who else is sick of Jimmy Butler talking nonstop?” That was the question Termine asked listeners at the top of his show. Termine is tired of Butler saying the Heat are good and then laying an egg. However, Termine didn’t place the sole blame on Butler. According to Termine, Bam Adebayo should shoulder some blame as well. The Heat stars didn’t come with that fighting mentality on Tuesday night. Unfortunately for the team, they only have one more shot to get this right.

Termine Expects Better From Jimmy Butler

Heat fans are seemingly frustrated. But that doesn’t negate the season that Butler has had. The Miami star averaged 22 points per game this regular season. The number far exceeds his career average, which sits at 18. The Heat’s failures can’t entirely be on Butler’s shoulders. However, when you are the star of the team, you’re destined to take a lot of the blame. So, how can the Heat fix this before the final play-in tournament game? Certainly, this team has the talent to win it all. As can be seen with their recent success. However, something is causing the ship to sink.

The obvious answer is to get better performances from Bam and Butler. But that is easier said then done. The team will have to play with a sense of urgency. Something that didn’t seem to exist in their game on Tuesday. The Atlanta Hawks got out to an early lead and basically never let out. Does the Heat have what it takes to earn the eighth and final playoff spot? If they don’t, where does the franchise go this off-season? Let us know your thoughts on the Heat in the comment section. Jimmy Butler Shuts Down Heat Doubters

After reaching the NBA Finals last season, there were high expectations for the Miami Heat. However, the team has failed to meet the lofty benchmark they set for themselves. The team didn’t make any big acquisitions in free agency and has struggled in a loaded Eastern Conference. They finished the season 44-38, taking the seventh overall seed in the playoffs. However, the Heat finished strong, winning four of their five last games in the regular season. Ultimately, they finished one game behind the sixth-seeded Brooklyn Nets.

However, Jimmy Butler has once again shone as the team’s brightest star. The veteran small forward leads the team in points per game (22.9) and assists per game (5.3). Much like their Finals run last year, Butler has carried the team, playing in and starting 64 games. Only Bam Adebayo (75) and Tyler Herro (67) have more starts than Butler. Butler also posted the second-highest points per game of his career, his best average since the 2016/17 season. It was also the first time he played at least 60 games since the 2018/19 season.

Butler Backs The Heat

Speaking to ESPN, Butler shut down any doubt about whether the Heat could repeat their run to the finals. “Nope. It’s all the same.” was Butler’s concise answer when asked if he was embracing the Heat being the “underdog” after being the 1-seed last year. “Didn’t nobody pick us to win last year, either. So who cares. Y’all not going to pick us this year, still don’t give a damn. In 10 years, y’all still not going to pick us. Still don’t give a damn.” Butler continued.

Butler was the powerhouse of the Heat’s run a year ago and his comments are a clear indicator of where his mentality is for 2023. If he’s still playing basketball, the Heat are still winning. If the Heat are still winning, they can still win the championship. That said, it will be a much different road compared to 2022. To begin, the Heat must defend their seventh-seed status against the Atlanta Hawks. If they can, it would set up an Eastern Conference Finals rematch against the Celtics. But one thing is clear, Jimmy Butler sees the playoffs as the playoffs, regardless of seeding.

Nickelback Invited Jimmy Butler To ‘Come Sing Along’ On Their Summer Tour

Jimmy Butler‘s taste in music goes far beyond his well-documented love of country. In the aftermath of a recent 126-114 overtime loss to the Orlando Magic, Nick Friedell wrote a story for ESPN that went through Butler’s postgame routine on the night, which included sitting in the Miami Heat locker room and blasting Nickelback at full volume, all while he “sang every word to each song.”

Butler is known for being a different breed of cat, so when this little anecdote hit the internet in the aftermath of the story getting published, plenty of folks on Twitter enjoyed having a laugh over this detail. But as it turns out, this got onto the radars of a certain Canadian rock band that is going on tour a little later this year, and on their official Twitter account, they let Butler know that he is allowed to join them if he’d like.

There is no word on whether or not Butler will take them up on this offer. It is important to stress that it’s unclear if this means Butler can attend a show and possibly get some VIP treatment, or if he’s allowed to come up on stage and sing along with them. Perhaps this is obvious to everyone else but me, but in fairness, I never made it as a wise man.

Bam Adebayo Calls Out Rudy Gobert & Marcus Smart

Bam Adebayo has quickly become one of the most beloved players on the Miami Heat. Overall, he is one of those players who is a huge factor in the success of his team. During that NBA bubble run in 2020, Adebayo was able to show people exactly what he can on the floor. Although the Heat have yet to get back to the NBA Finals since then, Adebayo has still been fantastic. While there have been some inconsistencies here and there, there is no doubt that Adebayo is part of a Heat core that will last a very long time.

When people think about Adebayo, they think about his defense. There have been multiple seasons as of late in which people felt like he should have been defensive player of the year. However, he has yet to win the award. Instead, the honor was given to Rudy Gobert in 2021. Subsequently, Marcus Smart got the award back in 2022. As it turns out, Adebayo is not very happy about this. At the end of the day, he believes that he is the rightful owner of those awards.

Bam Adebayo Speaks

The Heat star made this revelation while speaking to Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report. As you can see up above, he believes he is better because he can defend every single position on the court. Overall, he believes Marcus Smart cannot guard the center position. Moreover, he noted that Rudy Gobert does not defend well in the playoffs as his style doesn’t “translate.” These were some very strong words, and we’re sure Smart and Gobert were less than impressed with what they were hearing. It’s a fair way to feel when you are being called out for seemingly no reason.

When you make these kinds of comments, you have to find a way to back them up. Consequently, there is going to be pressure on Adebayo to perform over these last few weeks. This is especially true as the Heat are on a bit of a losing skid. Let us know what you think of his comments, down below. Kevin Love Picks His Next Team

Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers had been looking for a divorce for a while now. Ever since LeBron James had left the team a few years ago, it had become clear that it was time for Love and the Cavs to part ways. However, they stayed together for a few years. Overall, the Cavs were ready for a buyout, but Love continued to refuse. This season, Love found himself back in the rotation, only to be taken out again. Upon this development, both sides agreed that a buyout was simply the best solution for everyone.

Over the past couple of days, there have been all sorts of rumors as it pertains to Love and his next move. Teams like the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers have all been suggested as potential teams for Love to land. Furthermore, there was also a report suggesting that the Lakers were “kicking the tires” on Love. Of course, this would ultimately mean a reunion with LeBron James. However, it seems as though Love has made his decision, and LeBron is nowhere to be found.

Kevin Love Moves On

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Love has signed a deal with the Miami Heat. As Woj explains, Love will have a fully fleshed-out role with his new team. “Love’s expectation is that he can play a sizable role in the Heat’s frontcourt rotation as they push into the Eastern Conference playoffs. Love talked with the Sixers too,” Woj tweeted. Overall, this is a very solid signing for the Miami Heat who are looking to avoid a play-in-round match this year. They certainly aren’t having the success they had last season, although there is still time to turn themselves around.

Considering how things ended in Cleveland for Love, it will be interesting to see how well he can play, moving forward. If he fizzles out with the Heat, then his next move could be outside of the NBA. Either way, it should be fun to see how this all plays out. Let us know what you think of the Latest Heat signing, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates.

FTX Loses Naming Rights To Miami Heat Arena Amid Massive Scandal

If you are someone who was invested in cryptocurrency, then you probably knew about FTX. Unfortunately, many people lost their life savings with the exchange as it was promptly shut down. It has since declared bankruptcy, and now, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried is looking at a lengthy prison sentence.

Overall, things do not look good for SBF. The entrepreneur is now being charged with fraud, money laundering, and even conspiracy. Needless to say, no one wants anything to do with his company. This is especially true of sports teams who were sponsored by the exchange.

FTX Founder Sam Bankman-Fried leaves Manhattan Federal Court on January 03, 2023 in New York City. FTX Vs. Miami Heat

NBA fans are well aware of the fact that the Miami Heat’s arena was called “FTX Arena.” The naming rights were purchased for $135 million just two years. Since the scandal, however, the Heat has been trying to get the name removed from its building. According to TMZ, those efforts have officially become successful.

Consequently, all FTX logos will be removed from outside of the arena. Additionally, any FTX branding on the court will also have to go. Over the past month, the exchange’s logos have remained on the floor in the arena, which has definitely caused some confusion.

Overall, it can certainly be said that the Heat are just happy to rid themselves of the brand. Now, they won’t have to field any unfortunate questions about the situation.

It remains to be seen who will win the naming rights next. Perhaps the Heat will have the foresight to stay away from crypto this time.

Dewayne Dedmon Throws Massage Gun On The Court: Watch

Dewayne Dedmon is a veteran player in the NBA, who has had a difficult season. He is currently averaging under 12 minutes per game and is averaging under 6 points and 4 rebounds. However, he is still a veteran player that the team leans on for support and solid play.

Unfortunately, there have been times when Dedmon has been frustrated with his teammates and his head coach. Erik Spoelstra might be one of the best coaches in the league, however, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t tick some guys off. On Tuesday night, that is exactly what happened.

Dewayne Dedmon Snaps

While taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder, Dedmon had some words with Coach Spo during a huddle. Dedmon was clearly unhappy with the exchange, and he promptly through a massage gun on the court. Consequently, he was ejected for his gesture.

Overall, it was a pretty shocking moment as the players had no idea what was happening. The referees were very unhappy and they certainly let it be known. As for Spoelstra, he was disappointed by the move, saying “We’re all a bunch of gnarly personalities … That part was unacceptable.”

Despite the outburst from Dedmon, Jimmy Butler led the Heat to a 112-11 victory. It was a nail-biter that included an NBA record for the Heat. They went 40-40 from the free-throw line, which is absurd. Butler went 23-23, which ultimately allowed his team to get the win. Although it has been a difficult year for the Heat, they are finding ways to win games.

This is still a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the NBA. Additionally, let us know what you think of Dedmon’s actions, in the comments below.

Kevin Durant to Receive MRI After Injury During Game Against HEAT

Kevin Durant will undergo an MRI on Monday Morning to determine the extent of a knee injury he suffered Sunday night in a game against the Miami HEAT. KD’s Brooklyn Nets would hold on to win 102-101.

Durant was injured with minutes left in the third quarter as Jimmy Butler would fall into his knee after getting his shot blocked by Durant’s teammate Ben Simmons. Durant would head to the locker room after trying to play through the pain for the next couple of possessions.

Nets teammate Kyrie Irving stated the play was a bit scary.

“I was right there. Those plays are scary,” Irving said to ESPN. “Because when someone’s not looking [at] what’s going on, anything can happen in those moments, so I’m grateful that all that time he’s put in the weight room, putting his body in a great position, his body was able to save him from something worse.”
