Ja Morant is one of the best players in the entire NBA. However, he has gotten into some trouble as of late, and it has kept him off of the court. The instance that truly hurt him though was when he flashed a gun on Instagram Live. This subsequently led to an eight-game suspension from the league. On Wednesday night, Morant was allowed to come back. His team was playing at home against the Houston Rockets, which means there was a solid chance he would secure a victory in his return. In the end, that is exactly what he and the Grizzlies did.

Although, it should be noted that Morant was coming off of the bench last night. This is due to the fact that he had been away from the team for some time. Either way, Morant found a way to make an impact immediately. He scored a total of 17 points in 24 minutes of action. This included a beautiful poster dunk that had the whole crowd on its feet. Overall, it was a great way for Morant to come back, and the fans appreciated his efforts.

Ja Morant has been the biggest story in the entire NBA over the past few weeks. Overall, this is due to the fact that he flashed a gun on Instagram Live. He was subsequently suspended by the NBA for a total of eight games. Moreover, during the midst of this controversy, he was accused of threatening a teenager and a mall cop. These alleged instances had happened in the past, although they were definitely publicized quite a bit throughout this controversy.

Now, however, Morant is allowed back with the Memphis Grizzlies. Morant was reinstated by the league on Monday. That night, his team had a game against the Dallas Mavericks, although he did not play. Instead, the team wanted him to gradually get back into the swing of things, instead of just going full force back into the game. As Jenkins explained, Morant got to address the team on Monday, where he outlined his changed behaviors. Additionally, Jenkins suggested that Morant will likely return to the court on Wednesday, which is tomorrow. At the end of the day, it really is not a big deal, as kids will be kids.

According to The Athletic, the team will not be allowing players to stay overnight in the cities that they travel to. Essentially, the team will travel to a city for a game, and then immediately travel to the next destination after the game. Of course, this will be impossible in the playoffs when they need to play two games in a row in the same city. However, the Grizzlies ae clearly trying to reign in their players, who have gotten into some bad spats as of late.

It is understandable that the franchise would want to avoid any more issues. This whole saga has been taxing on the team and the fans. Although, the players still need to do their best here, as there is a goal at hand. That goal is to win the championship and shut up all of the doubters who think the Grizzlies are fake contenders.

It has been an intense time for the Memphis Grizzlies star, who at 23 years old has mapped out a lengthy, successful career in the NBA. However, he’s hit a few missteps, and in recent weeks, Morant’s goals seem to be unraveling in real time. Retired ballers like Stephen Jackson have vocalized support for Morant, telling him he made a mistake and could move forward. Others have questioned why it seemed that Morant was trying to appear tougher than he is, advising him to leave the street life behind. Now, the basketball star is speaking out in his first interview since his scandals began.

First, there was news that Morant was involved in a scuffle during a pick-up game. He’s accused of assaulting a 17-year-old basketball player during a confrontation and displaying a gun. He soon denied the allegations.
