Megan Thee Stallion Has A Murderous ‘Hottie Homecoming’ In Her New ‘Roc Steady’ Video With Flo Milli

Megan Thee Stallion is about a month removed from the release of Megan: Act II, a reissue of June’s Megan that adds new tracks. Among them is the Flo Milli-featuring “Roc Steady,” for which Meg just unveiled a new video today (November 27).

Ahead of the video came a teaser that packed a lot of exposition into ten seconds. It started with newspaper headlines reading “Murders At RSH School,” “3 Students Found Dead,” “Mysterious Bite Marks,” and “No Suspects Found.” We then get some shorts of a “Hottie Homecoming” event in a school gymnasium, including some of Meg as a cheerleader. Indeed, that’s generally what’s going on in the full video.

Meg previously explained on X (formerly Twitter) of the song’s creation, “I called Flo milli to thee studio and she kicked me and the engineer out the room for like 45 min [laughing emoji] and when I came back in I was shooookkkk.” Flo responded, “lmaooo chill i was shy [laughing emojis] can’t let nobody see my crazy side [crying emoji] we got the job done tho.”

“Roc Steady” arrived after Meg and Flo worked together on a remix of Latto’s “Sunday Service.” Meanwhile, the new video isn’t Flo’s biggest reveal of the past few days, as she just announced she’s pregnant.

Megan Thee Stallion Proves That Everything Is ‘Bigger In Texas’ With Her New Video

It should come as no surprise that Texas native Megan Thee Stallion has repurposed her home state’s unofficial slogan for her latest single. In fact, the only surprise is that it took so long for her to make “Bigger In Texas,” considering how much pride she has for her hometown, Houston, and the surrounding territory.

“Bigger In Texas” arrives along with 10 other all-new songs as part of her new album, Megan: Act II. Also included on the new project are a remix of her social media favorite, “Mamushi,” featuring K-pop girl group Twice, and the previously released RM collaboration, “Neva Play.” And while fans weren’t sure about the new collection’s artwork, they’ll almost certainly eat up new collaborations with Flo Milli (“Roc Steady”) and Spiritbox (“TYG”).

The new version of Megan follows a productive year for Thee Stallion, who independently released the original Megan as she completed her Hot Girl Summer Tour along with GloRilla. She also collaborated with Glo a couple of times, first on “Wanna Be,” then on its remix with Cardi B, and most recently on “How I Look,” leading to calls for the duo to consider a collaboration album — calls they appear ready to oblige. Meg also teamed up with Latto and Flo Milli on their “Sunday Service” remix. All that in just 2024 makes you wonder just how much she’ll be able to get done in 2025.

Megan Thee Stallion Completes A Metamorphosis In Her Teaser For ‘Megan: Act Two’

It looks like Megan Thee Stallion isn’t yet done rolling out new music for 2024. Ahead of the release of her new album, Megan, the Houston Hottie shared plenty of promo material featuring chrysalis imagery, to reflect the new stage of her career and life she was entering (even as some fans protested that it was inconsistent with the reptile theming she used to kick off the rollout).

Apparently, she considers her metamorphosis complete. Meg shared a teaser on social media for something called Megan: Act Two (which is, presumably, a follow-up or extension of her new album) in which she transforms, growing butterfly-like wings. In the caption, she wrote, “Stay tuned, hotties.”

If this means new music is on the way from Thee Stallion this year, it’ll round out one busy 2024 for the big anime fan. In addition to Megan, she also joined Latto on her “Sunday Service” remix with Flo Milli, collaborated with GloRilla on “Wanna Be” and the “Wanna Be Remix” with Cardi B, and dropped “Neva Play” with RM — a song that now seems likely to end up on Megan: Act Two and is the official theme song for the WWE’s current season. Aside from those official singles, she also helped create a remake of Queen’s “We Will Rock You” for Pepsi and the NFL.
