Chris Brown Dance Battles Kai Cenat During “Mafiathon 2” Twitch Event

Chris Brown appeared on Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream on Thursday evening. Cenat has been live since November 1. “Mafiathon 2,” as Cenat dubbed it, is a month-long, 24-hour-a-day event that Cenat devised after losing his spot as the most-subscribed to streamer on the platform. Ironmouse, a popular streamer in her own right, briefly held the record after her own subathon. Half of the proceeds went to charity.

Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 event has featured a revolving door of celebrities, from Snoop Dogg and Lil Uzi Vert to the cast of Good Luck Charlie and Miranda Cosgrove, star of the hit Nickelodeon show iCarly (a show that Cenat’s own streams have been compared to by his fans). Brown is the latest addition to an ever-growing list of celebrity cameos to take place on the month-long stream. Early in their interaction, Cenat challenged Brown to a dance battle. Brown jokingly remarked that he was “too old” for that. Soon after, Duke Dennis, a longtime collaborator of Cenat’s, entered the room and taught Brown how to do a front flip.

Chris Brown Appears On Kai Cenat’s Twitch Stream

Chris Brown and Kai Cenat did have their dance battle, with the two of them Krumping on stream. Brown also critiqued Cenat’s singing abilities, calling him “tone-deaf” after hearing the streamer’s attempt at carrying a note. Brown has all but rejected mainstream media outlets since their coverage of his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. To see him on Cenat’s stream is not necessarily surprising, as Twitch streamers are not usually considered “mainstream,” despite some of the lofty follower counts on the platform.

Kai Cenat has had a banner year. At the end of his Mafiathon 2 subathon, he will be the first Twitch streamer to reach 500,000 subscribers. His influence goes beyond Twitch now, as he’s started doing commercials as well, including for T-Mobile and McDonald’s. WWE legend-turned-actor John Cena recently appeared on his stream. The stream happened in part to advertise the fast food company’s new Chicken Big Mac. Chris Brown wrapped up his 11:11 tour in August. The tour was marred by a fresh set of allegations against Brown and his entourage. The lawsuit filed against Brown claims that Brown and his people assaulted four men after a concert in Texas. The men are now seeking $50 million in damages. Controversy follows Brown wherever he goes, but he was completely drama-free in his cameo on Cenat’s stream.

Kai Cenat’s Masseuse Quits Mid-Stream Due To His Chat’s Incessant Harassment

Kai Cenat is currently in the midst of his Mafiathon 2 stream which means he will be live for the entire month of November. He has not stopped streaming once since November 1st which is truly unfathomable. Overall, this kind of feat is why fans are so excited about tuning into Kai Cenat’s streams. He is someone who is always elevating his craft and trying new things. Although sometimes these things don’t work out, more often than not, he is able to craft viral moments that have remained central to popular culture.

On Tuesday night, however, Kai found himself in a bad situation as he was getting a massage during his stream. As you can see down below, Kai was acting like his usual self, and the Masseuse was doing her job. However, she was immediately inundated with some reprehensible comments from chatters. Donations were being read out by a robotic voice, and fans took advantage by sexually harassing the masseuse. This was done in the form of cat-calling.

Kai Cenat Tried To Make Things Right

Subsequently, the masseuse told Kai that she was feeling uncomfortable and that she just didn’t want to have to deal with the comments anymore. Although Kai offered to have his team turn off the text-to-speech call outs, the damage had already been done. The masseuse left the stream, and Cenat was extremely apologetic. Overall, the masseuse was understanding and acknowledged that it wasn’t Kai’s fault. Regardless, that doesn’t excuse the actions of his fans.

When you over 100K live concurrent viewers on your stream, this kind of thing is going to happen. It is unfortunate, but it is the truth. At the end of the day, streamers have a lot of parasocial fans and they know how to ruin it for everyone else. Hopefully, for Kai, the rest of Mafiathon 2 can go on without any issues. Aside from last night’s mishap, the experience has been very positive for a lot of people. Drake may pull up near the end, but it is unconfirmed whether or not he will at this point.

Kai Cenat Breaks The Twitch Subscriber Record For The Second Time

Back in March 2023, Kai Cenat was the guy when it came to streaming, particularly on the Twitch platform. That was thanks to his first-ever Mafiathon subathon event. A streamer who goes by Ludwig had the subscriber record prior to Kai, but he emerged with the most with over 306,000. According to Dexerto, the New York native would go on to keep the lead up until September of this year. That’s when Ironmouse would overtake him with her annual charity subathon. She would actually obliterate his subscriber count by 20,000 plus. Fast forward to this month where Kai would begin his second Mafiathon to sit atop the rankings again.

To aid in this mission, he brought on many high-profile guests, particularly in the hip-hop world. Quavo, DDG, Lil Uzi Vert, Denzel Curry, Kodak Black, and GloRilla were just a few. However, the journey was not all sunshine and rainbows for Kai. Just a couple of days into the streaming marathon, multiple swatting attempts were made at his home. It led to authorities showing up on his property mid-livestream and he even dealt with a short ban in the process. But the 22-year-old was able to persevere, and now, he’s reached the mountaintop.

The multi-media talent was halfway toward the goal of Ironmouse’s 326,252 just three days in. Now, with more than half the month of November to go, he eclipsed that mark, and his reaction is both wholesome and well-deserved. In the clip from DJ Akademiks, all of his closest friends were there to support and cheer him on as the subscriber count grew rapidly. In the midst of the celebration, he surpassed the number by over 800.

“Two times!” Kai repeatedly shouted after seeing his goal come to fruition. Some are belittling the accomplishment, but all he deserves to hear right now is congratulations! It’s a tremendous feat for the ever-growing internet presence and with 18 days left this month, it will be exciting to follow this and see how many subscribers he gains. Cenat took the time to thank his supporters on X, saying, “LOST #1 A MONTH & SOME CHANGE AGO COMPLETELY PLANNED ANOTHER ONE IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS AND CAME BACK AND WE GOT THE WORLD RECORD AGAIN,” he began. “I LOVE ALL MY SUPPORTERS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART JOB STULL NOT FINISHED ONLY DAY 11!”

Kai Cenat Working With Authorities After Multiple Swatting Attempts Amid His Streaming Event

Kai Cenat is calling on some local reinforcements to help him accomplish another tremendous streaming feat. According to TMZ, The Bronx, New York native is currently in the middle of his Mafiathon 2 event, which is an uninterrupted month-long stream. It began on November 1, 6 p.m. EST. According to Esports Illustrated, 20 percent of the revenue accrued from it will go directly to helping build schools in Nigeria. He’s also doing this to become the most subscribed streamer on the Twitch platform. It appears that he recently hit the goal during this event, however, it came with a scary price.

Multiple swatting attempts happened over this weekend with each one growing more serious. The first of which was actually a legit report of two trespassers on Cenat’s property. They would eventually be peacefully removed by police. The second time would be when things got out of control. A “shooting at the home” eventually turned out to be a swatting call. Then, on Sunday Kai Cenat would have two more incidents. That’s when the 22-year-old decided to do something about it.

Kai Cenat’s Second “Mafiathon” Kicked Off November 1

Police are now working with him for any future swatting calls. TMZ says that authorities have a phone line set up to where they can detect the validity of any incoming reports. The swatting issue is currently under investigation and no arrests have been made. This actually led to Kai being banned on Twitch for thankfully just a several minutes, though. Twitch carried this out due to him violating guidelines and such, but nothing concrete was revealed. It’s possible it had to do with members of the SWAT being shown on camera. Helicopters and various vehicles were outside of the streamer’s home during this tense moment.
