EST Gee Drops “MAD” Tracklist Featuring Boosie Badazz & Young Scooter

EST Gee certainly had 2022 on lock. Though he already emerged as one of the hottest new rappers in the south, his deal with Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group cemented that statement further. He proved that he’s among a giant in the rap game with unmatched authenticity. He didn’t necessarily chase radio records, though he comes through with trunk-rattling anthems every single time he steps to the booth. It’s no surprise why EST Gee continues to keep fans excited for his next move.

It’s only been seven months since he dropped off his debut studio album, I Never Felt Nun, though he’s already gearing up for its follow-up. Earlier this month, EST Gee announced his new project, MAD, which will finally drop on Friday, March 17th. The excitement is especially real after dropping records like “UNDEFEATED” and most recently, “25MIN Freestyle.” The rapper clearly has intentions of having the spring on lock, and if his recent records are any indication, he’s on pace to accomplish just that.

EST Gee Shares “MAD” Tracklist

Shortly after unveiling his latest single, “25MIN Freestyle,” the rapper blessed fans with the official cover art and tracklist for the project. EST Gee’s next effort will include 14 songs in total with limited features. Young Scooter will appear on “Slam Dunk,” marking their second collaboration together following “Come Eat With Us” ft. EST Gee. Boosie Badazz will also appear on the song, “Hot Boys,” while Kada closes out the tracklist on “Kada Song.” Though there’s likely a long list of rappers who are itching to collaborate with the Louisville native (i.e. Desiigner), EST Gee continues to showcase that he stands on his own.

Besides his own project, EST Gee also recently appeared on the soundtrack for Creed III, executive produced by Dreamville. EST Gee and Big Sean linked up on “Anthem.” The rapper shared a heartwarming post on Instagram where he reflected on his late mother. “Rocky was my Momma’s favorite series of movies. If she was here I know she would be excited to see me on the #creed soundtrack,” he wrote. Check the tracklist for EST Gee’s new album below.

EST Gee Preps “Mad” Mixtape With “25Min Freestyle”

Before he even signed a deal with Yo Gotti, Lil Baby already described EST Gee as this generation’s Jeezy. Although his impact is not nearly the same as the Atlanta legend, he’s transformed his stories of the Fentanyl trade into motivational tales to get money. Over the past few years, he’s ascended into your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper. Even Jay-Z locked in studio time with EST Gee just to make sure that he didn’t have a ghostwriter that penned his harrowing tales of the streets.

In September, the rapper came off of a hot summer with the release of his latest project, I Never Felt Nun. Serving as his debut studio album, the rapper proved that he’s a singular figure in the rap game who can’t be replaced right now. With features from Future, Jack Harlow, Bryson Tiller, Jeezy, and Machine Gun Kelly, EST Gee proved that he’s one of the hottest new rappers in the game. However, he’s not allowing the momentum to slow down one bit.

EST Gee Got It Out The Pot On “25MIN Freestyle”

With his new mixtape Mad due out later this week, EST Gee came through with his latest drop, “25MIN.” Coming days after the release of “UNDEFEATED,” EST Gee delivers an eerie banger produced by Johngottit, Moz, and robawithit. The ominous production merges haunting vocal samples and thunderous 808s that pair perfectly with EST Gee’s lean-induced slurred delivery. Gee sways in and out the beat with murderous reflections of his past in the streets.

Though EST Gee’s known for his calm and collected delivery, his sleepy flow is certainly a stand-out on this record. His bars are just as menacing without the gritty conviction. It’s another impressive outing for the Louisville native. We’re excited to hear what else he has up his sleeve on his forthcoming project. MAD drops on Friday, March 17th. Check out his latest offering above.

Quotable Lyrics
They can’t step it, they was spittin’, in the field, like a bird
It’s not the rat, but the bird, double-pat, like we church
Say your Rolex is insured, kinda like you livin’
We do stand-ups and walk-ups and broad day killings

EST Gee’s ‘Mad’ Album Trailer Teases A Personal Look Into His Harrowing Life Experiences

It looks like new music from EST Gee is coming sooner than we thought. On Friday (March 3), the Louisville rapper shared a trailer on Instagram for his upcoming project, Mad.

The trailer seems to tease that Mad will offer a more personal look into EST Gee’s life, as he shares stories of the trauma he’s been forced to deal with. In the short clip, viewers see a 2017 phone call between EST Gee and his friend Red, who was killed shortly after returning from prison.

In a voiceover, EST Gee shares some words, as he fights through the pain.

“You gonna look at me and tell me it ain’t that bad,” EST Gee says in the clip. “Let them bang on my past. Bet you don’t feel nothing, you can’t be mad. You cannot be mad… Ain’t no tragedy in life like the death of a child, they say.”

Mad marks EST Gee’s second project in six months, his previous being I Never Felt Nun. In an interview for Rolling Stone conducted around that time, EST Gee shared that he hopes his success motivates other rappers from Louisville.

“They know me,” said EST Gee. “So, where I was standing at, a lot of people standing at [now], so they know they can get on. That was important to see. Because Jack [Harlow], yeah, he from Louisville, but he from a different place, different demographic. So people just like me, [my success] motivates them. They created a scene where there wasn’t no scene before and there’s a scene now.”

Mad is out 3/17 via CMG and Interscope.
