Lakers Reportedly Interested In Bradley Beal

If you are a Lakers fan, you know that this team needs some help right now. Sure, they have Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis. However, AD is always injured and it seems like LeBron has to carry every night. This is not sustainable, and if they want to make the playoffs, a trade has to be made.

Unfortunately, there are not a lot of players to trade for right now. Most of the best players in the league are cemented on their teams. Furthermore, no one is asking for trades right now. Even players like Bradley Beal in impossible situations don’t want out.

Lakers Like Beal

Despite Beal’s standing in Washington, it seems like the Lakers want to make some sort of deal happen. According to Marc Stein, teams around the NBA believe that the Lakers are currently stockpiling their assets. This is all in the event that Beal decides he wants to get out of Washington.

“Some rival teams believe that the Lakers want to try to keep their two most coveted trade assets in case a currently unforeseen shot to trade for a legitimate third star — like Washington’s Bradley Beal — materializes suddenly,” Stein explained.

Overall, this is a very unlikely outcome for the Lakers. They simply do not have the negotiating power to get anything done. Not to mention, Beal will likely want to stay in Washington.

Did LeBron James Just Hint At Retirement?

LeBron James is about to turn 38 years old tomorrow. At that age, most players are thinking about retiring from their sport. However, LeBron is playing at an incredible level right now, which means it would be a waste for him to quit now. Overall, he still has more accolades to wrack up.

Last night, however, James made some very interesting comments about retirement. According to Kyle Goon of the Orange County Register, James doesn’t want to continue missing the growth of his kids. Not to mention, he only wants to play if he feels like he can win. Needless to say, he may have just hinted at retirement.

LeBron Speaks On Retirement

Per Orange County Register:

“I don’t have a number. I know as long as my mind stay in it, I can play at this level for a minute… I will make sure my body is taken care of and I’ll continue to put in the work.

“I think about how much longer I’m going to play the game… I don’t want to finish my career playing at this level from a team aspect. I’ll still be able to be [competing] for championships because I know what I can still bring to any ball club with the right pieces.

“I think about my son graduating high school soon, going off to college and I’m still playing. My youngest son [Bryce] will be a junior next year — how much more time I’ll miss. So throughout the course of a day, to the weeks, to the months, I think about a little bit of everything. You know? Think about how much of the world I’ll see when I’m done playing the game. At the end of the day, I keep the main thing the main thing.”

LeBron James Reveals His Current Mindset

LeBron James is one of the best basketball players to ever live. He is top two on most people’s all-time lists, and there is a case to be made that he is the best ever. However, many are set in stone that the GOAT is actually just Michael Jordan.

Either way, LeBron is currently on a mission. Part of that mission is chasing down Kareem for the all-time scorer’s title. As it stands, James is just under 600 points back. On his current trajectory, he would break the record in about 19 games. This would be a massive achievement that fans can’t wait to see happen.

LeBron Speaks

Last night, LeBron got just a bit closer to the record as he scored 27 points against the Miami Heat. Unfortunately, the Lakers still lost. Overall, this has been the story of the season. LeBron plays well, but his team still ultimately fails him.

Following last night’s game, LeBron addressed the media and revealed his current mindset. Some feel as though he is stat padding to chase Kareem. However, LeBron assured people that he wants to win, first and foremost.

“I’m a winner & I want to win,” LeBron said. “I want to still compete for championships & that’s been my passion & goal since I entered the league as an 18yo kid out of Akron, Ohio…Playing basketball just to be playing basketball is not in my DNA anymore.”

Competing for a championship is likely out of the question this season. The Lakers simply do not have the juice right now, regardless of how well LeBron has played. It’s sad, but it is true.

LeBron James Enjoys Some Hookah After Huge Win

On a personal level, LeBron James has been having a solid season. Over the last few games, he has consistently been putting up some 30-point performances. Additionally, he has been creeping closer to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record.

As it stands, LeBron is just 601 points away from beating the record. That is a truly tremendous accomplishment that he should be proud of. For now, however, he needs to be focused on getting some wins. After all, the Lakers are just 14-20 which puts them at the bottom of the Western Conference

Yesterday, the Lakers changed their fortunes at least a little bit. They beat the Orlando Magic by a score of 129-110. This was a nice victory for the team especially since LeBron scored 28 points. Overall, it was a much-needed addition to the W column.

LeBron James Is Having Fun After His Latest Win

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have had their fair share of struggles this year. This is a team that came into their game against the Orlando Magic with a record of 13-20. It is a record that put them 13th in the Western Conference, which is just abysmal.

However, things somewhat got back on track last night as LeBron led the team to a solid 129-110 victory. The Magic boast some phenomenal young talents, although LeBron was too much to handle as he gave the Magic a 28-point performance.

LeBron James Is Loving It

Despite the losses this year, LeBron has been able to maintain a positive attitude. You can tell that he still loves the game of basketball and with his 38th birthday in just a couple of days, he will not be slowing down, anytime soon. In fact, he is closer than ever to getting that all-time scoring title.

After winning against the Magic, LeBron took to his Instagram page where he offered up some clips of the game. Overall, LeBron seemed to be relieved that his team got back into the win column. He captioned the clip with “that was fun tonight” which just goes to show that he still loves the game, despite the rough season.

Heading into the new year, the Lakers are going to need to put up some big numbers. A win streak is most certainly needed, however, without Anthony Davis, it is going to be hard. Regardless, LeBron James will at least be able to run up his numbers which will get him that much closer to Kareem’s long-standing record.

Anthony Davis’ Foot Injury Hit With Another Update

Anthony Davis is one of the most dominant players in the league when he is healthy. However, that simply has not been the case over the past few years. Davis is constantly injured, and it has made it so that he never gets any sort of momentum going.

This was especially true earlier this week when it was revealed that Davis would have to miss time with a foot injury. Davis had been playing some of the best basketball of his career. Now, however, the Lakers will have to try and compete without him.

Anthony Davis Update

Overall, this is just bad news for the Lakers as they have a record of 13-18. This is not good enough to make the playoffs, and without AD, they will simply get worse. Subsequently, it is being reported that Davis has a stress injury and is now out indefinitely.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, however, there is some good news here. Basically, Davis will be reevaluated in about a week from now. From there, the next course of action will be revealed. That said, there is no real guarantee that the Lakers will be able to reactivate Davis. In fact, there is still the risk of Davis needing an operation, although the team seems convinced that won’t be necessary.

No matter what, this is not great for the Lakers. They need some sort of pick-me-up, and that won’t be coming anytime soon. But hey, at least they have the 2020 bubble.

Be sure to stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world. Additionally, let us know what you think of the situation, in the comments down below.

Zach LaVine Reportedly Wants To Go To The Lakers

Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls don’t seem to be the fit they once were. There was a point where LaVine was on the verge of superstardom. However, he has been having it out with his teammates and his coaches. This past week, he had a pretty large argument with one teammate after they told him to play better defense.

With that being said, it is looking likely that both sides just move on from one another. If it were to come down to a trade, the Bulls could get a lot for LaVine. Additionally, there are plenty of teams out there who would love to have LaVine’s brand of talent.

Zach LaVine To The Lakers?

Lavine is a Klutch Sports athlete, which means it should be no surprise that some think he could go to the Lakers. According to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, the Lakers are looking like the likeliest outcome for LaVine. This is mostly because LaVine himself wants to play there.

“LaVine wants to go to the Lakers, that has been pretty clear for a while now,” Deveney wrote. “The agents (from Klutch Sports) want him to be in Los Angeles, he is a UCLA guy and they did some rattling about his contract last offseason, to kind of lay the groundwork if things blew up. Which they seem to be doing.”

Getting LaVine would probably mean giving up Anthony Davis. For the Lakers, that could very well be a nonstarter. However, talks between the two teams have yet to actually take place.

This is a developing story so stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the league. Additionally, let us know where you think LaVine should go, in the comments below.

LeBron James Roasted For Editing Kings Logo

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have had their fair share of struggles this season. Right now, Anthony Davis is out with a foot injury, which means LeBron has to carry. Overall, James had done this before, however, at 38 years old, it is a lot harder.

Last night, the Lakers played against the Sacramento Kings. Although LeBron was able to score 31, his team was still blown out. It was yet another harsh reminder that his Lakers team does not have enough pieces to actually go very far.

LeBron Pre-Game Diss

Prior to the match, LeBron came through with an Instagram post in which he wrote “The Man In The Arena.” The photo was taken inside of the Kings’ arena, and as you can see, LeBron cropped out the “S” in “Kings.” Of course, this is because his nickname is “King James.” Overall, it was a very silly way to promote himself.

Consequently, James was roasted for his use of social media. As you will see in the tweets below, many called LeBron corny for what he did. After all, he openly disrespected the Kings, only for it to backfire with a pretty bad L.

“LMFAO this is aggressively corny,” one fan wrote. “Imagine doing all of that just too end up losing the game by double digits. thinks he’s the king what a c0rny ass mf,” said another.

Moving forward, LeBron might want to consider his marketing efforts. Perhaps the Kings saw this post and got motivated. Either way, it was a bad look for James, whose team is now sitting at a record of 13-18.

LaVar Ball Rips Lakers While Speaking On LaMelo’s Future

LaVar Ball is easily one of the most famous fathers in the entire world. A few years ago, Ball gained prominence thanks to the way he was promoting his oldest son, Lonzo. At the time, the Lakers were pathetic and they were going to get a high draft pick. As a California native, LaVar was able to advocate for his son to go to the Lakers and that is exactly what happened.

During this era, LaVar made all sorts of wild claims about his son’s talent. Overall, Lonzo was not able to live up to the hype, however, he is a very solid NBA point guard. Of course, Lonzo was traded from the Lakers to the Pelicans in exchange for Anthony Davis, back in 2019.

LaVar Ball Vs. The Lakers

Subsequently, LaVar has held onto his Lakers grudge all of these years. In a recent interview with Complex, Ball was asked if he would ever let LaMelo go to the Lakers. As you can imagine, Ball wants nothing to do with that franchise, moving forward.

Common sense would tell you, hell no,” LaVar said. “You did something to my boy Lonzo, and you think I’m going to come back with the others? I gotta be stone-cold crazy. You get rid of ‘Zo and you think I’m going to come back? I’m not that type of foolish guy.”

Throughout the interview, Ball made sure to reiterate that he hopes his sons will all join forces at some point in their careers. For instance, if their contracts all end at the same time, LaVar expects them to go to the same team. Of course, this all rides on LiAngelo making the NBA.

Let us know what you think of LaVar’s remarks, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from the sports world.
