Chris Paul For Kyrie Trade Offer Revealed

Chris Paul and Kyrie Irving are two of the best point guards in the entire league. However, only one of these men is constantly involved in drama. Case in point, Kyrie asked for a trade from the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. This request came after a week of long-term contract negotiations. Overall, Irving felt insulted by the Nets’ contract stipulations and made it clear he wanted out. This ultimately led to a trade to the Dallas Mavericks. It was a big move by the team, and fans are curious as to how it all plays out.

At this point, you may be wondering how Chris Paul is involved in any of this. After all, he has been playing great basketball for the Phoenix Suns. In fact, just a few years ago, he helped the Suns get back to the NBA Finals. Sure, they didn’t win, although he is still a valuable member of the team. However, the Suns were willing to trade him to the Nets for Kyrie. In the end, the Nets ultimately chose the Mavericks as they had the better package.

Chris Paul Trade Package

According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the Suns were going to send numerous picks, as well as Jae Crowder alongside Paul. The Nets made it clear that they wanted an extra pick, although the Suns wouldn’t do it. As a result, they chose the Mavericks who were feeling a bit more desperate than the Suns were. With all of this being said, a tandem of Devin Booker and Kyrie Irving would have been very interesting. If I’m a Suns fan, however, I’m very happy with keeping CP3 until further notice.

Moving forward, the trade deadline is in only a few days. It all goes down on Thursday, February 9th and it seems like some big trades could be made. For instance, if KD is upset with Kyrie’s departure, he may just demand a trade, once again. Moreover, teams like the Lakers are desperate to improve their roster ahead of a postseason push. No matter what, the next few days will be a ton of fun. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the NBA.

LeBron James Reacts To Kyrie Irving Trade: “Maybe It’s Me”

LeBron James responded to the news that the Brooklyn Nets are sending Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. In a Twitter post, James pondered whether he’s to blame for the Lakers’ inability to acquire the eight-time NBA All-Star.

“Maybe It’s Me,” James tweeted. He and Irving previously played together on the Cleveland Cavaliers. There, the two led the team to its first NBA Finals victory in 2016. He’s been vocal about wanting the Lakers to make a move before the trade deadline in recent days.

“That’s a Rob question,” James said Saturday following the Lakers’ 131-126 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. “You got to see him when y’all get back to L.A. I’ve told y’all a couple weeks, I don’t speak for our front office. My mindset is whatever lineup or whatever group that we have is to make sure we prepare ourselves the best way we can to go out and win. Obviously, that’s a — what’s the word you use — ‘duh’ question when you talk about a player like that.”

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nets felt the Mavericks’ deal would better position them to win now. The Lakers are believed to have included Russell Westbrook as well as a series of draft picks in their package. In exchange for Irving, the Nets will receive Dorian Finney-Smith, Spencer Dinwiddie, an unprotected 2029 first-round pick as well as second-round picks in 2027 and 2029.

The Lakers are currently 25-29 on the season, leaving them in 13th place in the Western Conference standings. The trade deadline is Thursday. If the team fails to make a move, they’ll be sticking it out with Russell Westbrook for the rest of the season as they fight for a playoff spot. Check out LeBron James’ recent tweet below.

Irving leaves the Nets after spending a tumultuous four seasons with the organization. During the stretch, Irving missed dozens of games for refusing to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Irving addressed his decision to request a trade on Twitter, on Friday.

Kyrie Irving Requests Trade Out Of Brooklyn

Kyrie Irving has certainly had an interesting tenure with the Brooklyn Nets. Since joining the team back in 2019, Kyrie has had an up-and-down stretch. Overall, he has had to deal with numerous injuries. Additionally, he has had a slew of controversies, including the anti-semitism allegations that got him suspended from the team. Despite all of this, Kyrie has continued to ball out on the court, and it was looking like he and the Nets had reached a new chapter. In fact, Kyrie even made it clear last week that he wanted a long-term deal with the Nets.

Unfortunately, Kyrie’s erratic behavior over the years has made it hard for the Nets to want a long-term deal. The team is aware that he is rarely available for large stretches of the season. Having said that, one could assume that the Nets were not as eager to get a deal done as Kyrie was. Add in the fact that the Nets have never gone past the second round with Kyrie and KD, and you realize why they may be additionally apprehensive.

Kyrie Irving Wants Out

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, it seems like the Nets were, indeed, a bit squeamish during negotiations. Consequently, Kyrie Irving officially wants a trade from the Nets. Today, Irving told the team that he would prefer to be sent to another team by the deadline. Moreover, if he isn’t traded, he will simply walk away during free agency. No matter what, this is a horrible situation for the Nets to be in. With Kevin Durant out of the lineup, they have been relying on Kyrie. Not to mention, with KD in the lineup, the team was playing championship basketball. Now, however, Kyrie is throwing all of that away, and NBA fans are eager to see how this plays out.

The most obvious destination for Kyrie is the Lakers. They are willing to give up Russell Westbrook and their two future first-round picks. Whether or not that is enough for the Nets’ front office, still remains to be seen. Either way, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world. Kyrie Irving Hit With Massive Boos In Boston

Kyrie Irving is one of those players that creates all sorts of polarizing reactions. Some fans love him, while others absolutely hate him with a burning passion. Overall, it is simply because Irving isn’t afraid to speak about what he believes. Although it gets him into trouble sometimes, Irving continues to use his platform the way he wants. Additionally, some of the decisions he has made pertaining to his career have rubbed people the wrong way. The best example of this can be found when talking about none other than the Boston Celtics.

When Kyrie left that team, he had initially led them on to believe that he would absolutely be coming back to the franchise. Of course, that is not what happened. Instead, he teamed up with Kevin Durant on the Brooklyn Nets. So far, that has not gone as planned as the team has yet to make it out of the second round. However, that promises to change this year as the Nets have shown tremendous growth with both superstars on the floor. Unfortunately, KD is now injured, and when Kyrie plays his old team, he goes into the game severely overmatched.

Kyrie Gets The Boston Experience

Last night, Kyrie and the Nets tried to take on the Celtics, in Boston. Over the course of the year, the Celtics have looked like the best team in the league. On Wednesday night, they showcased that as they blew the Nets out of the water. They won 139-96, and even had a 46-16 lead following the first quarter. Overall, it was a pretty bad game for the Nets. Furthermore, it was not a great welcome for Kyrie, who was booed incessantly by fans. It was pretty hard for him to hear anything other than those boos during the warmup.

While it was a bad night for Kyrie, he should still keep his head up. Durant could be returning to the lineup soon, and when he does, the Nets will immediately become a solid squad again. Some even believe that this team could go on to win an NBA title, however, that remains to be seen. Let us know what you think of Boston’s treatment of Kyrie, in the comments below.
