Lil Wayne & Kevin Durant Collab Left Off “ColleGrove 2” But Could Be On “Tha Carter VI”

Lil Wayne has revealed that he has an unreleased collab with Kevin Durant that was at one time considered for inclusion on ColleGrove 2. Wayne copped to the track when asked about it by Bleacher Report‘s Taylor Rooks. “I just want you to know you messed up. That song was being considered to be on Carter VI and now since you’re saying something, it’s not goin’ on Carter VI,” Wayne joked, directing his response at Durant himself. However, Wayne went on to say that the track was considered for ColleGrove 2. However, he decided he wanted to save it for another project.

Furthermore, Wayne had a lot to say about Durant’s skills as a rapper. “KD’s a jewel. He’s a backpack rapper. I can imagine he probably could call a timeout in a game, and probably ask him to rap and he probably got a verse for you,” Wayne mused. The content of Durant’s song with Wayne is as yet unknown. However, KD does have some experience in the music industry. He has a song with LeBron James and was recently credited as A&R on Drake’s For All The Dogs.

Meanwhile, Durant is continuing to have a career year at age 35. He is averaging 31 points a game, which would be a career-best if he maintains it. Additionally, his stat line also boasts 6.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists a game. However, the Suns are struggling, currently sitting at 14-13 with one win in their last four games. Injuries have played a major part in their struggles. Despite adding Bradley Beal in a blockbuster trade, Phoenix’s big three has not seen much floor time together due to injuries to Beal and Devin Booker.

Kevin Durant has continued his trend of social media savagery by responding to a podcast clip of Moritz Wagner. In the clip from Pardon My Take, Wagner explains how he accidentally flamed Durant during his rookie year. After drawing a foul, Wagner fired off a dismissive “You can’t guard me”, only to realize that he had just said it to Durant. “I think it was Durant, Draymond Green, and DeMarcus Cousins on the free throw line boxout talking sh-t to me. I was so shaken,” Wagner explained. After the clip was published, Durant quote tweeted it, adding “I walked away from that game thinking, damn that rookie is an assh-le.”

Durant, who recently passed Moses Malone to become the NBA’s 10th all-time scorer, is absolutely cooking this season. He is currently averaging 31/6.5/5.7 a night at 35 years old. Meanwhile, Wagner, in his fourth year with the Magic, is putting 13/4.3/1.2. While he is nowhere near the star that his brother Franz is, Wagner is a solid rotational piece for the Magic. He had over 60% field shooting last season.

Meanwhile, KD’s Suns are good, but sit at 11-7 after 18 games. They recently saw a seven-game winstreak snapped by the Raptors. The run had taken the Suns from 4-6 to 11-6. However, December gets off to a tough start for Phoenix as they must face Jokic and the Nuggets. The Nuggets are second in the conference after the Timberwolves. As for Durant himself, he is having a phenomenal season. He is putting up 31.3/6.9/5.5 a game. Furthermore, he leads the Suns in both points and assists. Put more simply, it’s only natural to wonder who will be featured on Scary Hours 3 immediately upon Drake confirming its impending arrival is tomorrow, November 17.

Who Is Featured On Drake’s Scary Hours 3?

As of this writing on Thursday morning, November 16, Drake has not revealed features nor a tracklist whatsoever. We could lean on the his past Scary Hours projects to make a hypothesis, but that doesn’t help because 2018’s Scary Hours had no features, while 2021’s Scary Hours 2 featured Lil Baby and Rick Ross. So, the third installment could go either way.

Who Produced Scary Hours 3?

According to the cinematic, orchestral-backed trailer posted to Drake’s Instagram, the credited Scary Hours 3 executive producers are Drake, OVO’s Noel Cadastre, and perennial NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, also recently revealed as a NOCTA campaign star.

So, it’s only natural that his clothing line with Nike, NOCTA, would eventually get a line of basketball apparel and gear, along with a campaign featuring NBA all-star Kevin Durant. Durant previously appeared in Drake’s “Laugh Now, Cry Later” video featuring Lil Durk, which was shot at Nike’s Oregon headquarters campus. Here’s how you can get your hands on the new collection before it inevitably sells out and ends up on StockX for triple the price.

You can pull up (heh) on Nocta.com to check out the options currently in stock, which include basketball jerseys (of course) and shorts (absolutely), basketballs (naturally), shoes (they are Zoom Flight 95s, fam, just get those instead), base layer tops (why not), shooting sleeves (alright), socks (sure), and a “sideline trench” jacket (oh… kay). The Suns are loaded up with talent, however, injuries have plagued the roster to start the season. Moreover, they have lost some games to teams like the San Antonio Spurs, which has led to quite a bit of concern over whether or not the team is any good. Needless to say, there are a lot of questions left unanswered.

Now, however, Kevin Durant seems to be trying to get into his modeling bag. In the Instagram post below, we can see Durant participating in a photoshoot for NOCTA. Drake’s Nike imprint has made huge waves over the last few years. They have dropped a ton of dope collections, and now, they have another on the way. In the photoshoot, Durant can be seen modeling these clothes, all while vacuuming up some cash.
