Kevin Durant hopped into a Twitter Spaces discussion on Friday to debate whether he is one of the five best players in the NBA. The Phoenix Suns star complained about how fans determine a player’s value and more.
“I just think how y’all even look at the game is whack as f–k,” Durant said. “You factor in team success when you talking about players. I just think how y’all consume the game is trash, like are you good or not? I mean some things could be that simple. Are you just good or not? I mean, a lot of people have seen it for a long time brother and it’s OK. These lists don’t really mean nothing anyway, so why are you getting so upset about ’em?”
Users were excited to see Durant so willing to speak with fans. “It’s so cool KD just talks ball with literally anybody, even with people that say he’s not Top 5,” one user tweeted. Another posted: “Regardless of what you think about him I think it’s fire that a generational talent interacts with fans so consistently.”
Despite his comments on the relationship between a team’s success and a player’s skill, Durant has taken home two titles in his career. While the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets haven’t achieved Finals success with Durant, the former MVP did win two championships with the Golden State Warriors. He won the Finals MVP both times. He also won the MVP award in 2014 while still a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Kevin Durant Argues With Fans On Twitter
The Phoenix Suns will look to improve their playoff success, next season, after recently acquiring former Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal in a blockbuster trade, earlier this month.

Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the history of the NBA. Overall, he has two NBA titles, and he has the potential to win more. Moreover, his Phoenix Suns just traded for Bradley Beal, which is certainly a huge move. In football, someone who is comparable to Durant is Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has one Super Bowl and is now going to the New York Jets where he hopes to turn the team around. These upcoming seasons are going to be extremely crucial for both of them, and fans cannot wait to see them.
As it turns out, both Kevin Durant and Aaron Rodgers actually linked up with one another. We know this because of a post that was made on the Proactive Sports Performance Instagram account. In the photo down below, you can see KD and Rodgers on a basketball court together, shaking hands. It was a bit weird to see these two together, although it does make sense that they would have a mutual respect for one another.
For Aaron Rodgers, this has been one of his busiest offseasons in a long time. He is now a member of the Jets, and he has had to partake in workouts and OTAs. Overall, no one knows what to expect from Rodgers and the Jets. This could either work out extremely well, or it could be a disaster. There is almost no in-between here. As for KD, the Suns are going to have lofty expectations for next season, even if their bench is pretty non-existent.
Either way, fans are going to get a lot of entertainment and storylines out of these two once September rolls around. If they can both win a title, then perhaps this link-up will be considered the catalyst for all of it. Let us know what you think of all of this, in the comments section below. Call of Duty: Warzone is the long-running first-person shooter’s answer to the massively popular battle royale genre. Originally released in March 2020, the free-to-play game has earned a massive following. In April 2021, developer Activision announced that Warzone had surpassed 100 million active players. It also spawned a robust competitive scene. Arguably, the game became the premiere esports product for the Call of Duty franchise, even if Activision wanted to focus its attention on the Call of Duty League.
While Warzone was not without its flaws or detractors, it proved to be a big enough success for Activision to warrant a sequel. Warzone 2.0 was released in 2022 alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. A core part of the game’s visual aesthetic is the ability to buy specific skins, known as “operators”, to apply to your character. These often look like famous individuals, and now an NBA superstar is set to become the latest one.
Kevin Durant Is Latest Sports Superstar-themed Operator
In the past, Warzone has added operators modeled after the likes of Neymar, Messi, and Paul Pogba. Now it appears that the Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant will be the next sports star enshrined in the game. A teaser clip was uploaded by the official Warzone account that made reference to an “Easy Money Sniper”. EasyMoneySniper just so happens to be Durant’s Instagram handle. This was seemingly confirmed when the Warzone Facebook page “accidentally” uploaded the clip with the caption “KD_Teaser”. That was quickly deleted, but not before plenty of screenshots had been taken.
Further details have revealed that the Kevin Durant operator will become available on May 10 alongside the launch of Warzone 2.0‘s third in-game season. Based on previous operator releases, Kevin Durant will likely cost 2400 CoD points (~$20). “Swish”, a pro Warzone player for the New York Subliners organization, also uploaded images showing the Kevin Durant operator model.
Durant is seen wearing gear of the in-game weapons manufacturer Bruen, as well as wielding a climbing axe. As for the actual Durant, he is still locked in a tight playoff battle with the New York Knicks. Are you excited to play as Kevin Durant in Warzone?
Kevin Durant will forever be known as one of the greatest players of his generation. Now Durant’s partnership with Nike is making sure the NBA veteran doesn’t go anywhere. According to a press release from Nike, Durant has signed a lifetime agreement with the company. Obviously, the deal is a win-win for both parties involved. We’ve done amazing work creatively and philanthropically. We’ve traveled the world together and built a business that will now last forever. I’m excited for the future and honored to be in rare company with this deal.” Nike will continue to have such a strong ambassador for their brand in Durant.
Kevin Durant Stays With Nike
When Durant mentioned the deal was rare, he wasn’t misunderstood. Durant becomes just the third athlete to sign a lifetime deal with Nike. Obviously, the other two are Michael Jordan and LeBron James. That seems like some pretty good company to be a part of. Durant has been one of the biggest names in the NBA for the last decade. Now his legacy and brand have the potential to grow even bigger. Nike’s involvement in the sports world has long been a dominant force. With Durant in two for years to come, it will only become larger.
Durant is thrilled with the opportunity to become a lifetime Nike athlete. However, the Phoenix Suns star has his focus on the playoffs. The Suns are gearing up for their second-round matchup with the Denver Nuggets. After taking down a banged-up Clippers team in round one. The Suns will be facing a tougher challenge with the best team in the Western Conference, the Nuggets. Will Kevin Durant live up to his legacy by helping the Suns make a Finals run? Let us know what you think in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.
Kevin Durant had a lot of basketball fans in a chokehold with the Nike KD 4. Overall, the KD 4 was part of the golden age of Nike Basketball. At the time, LeBron James was doing great things with the Nike LeBron 8 and 9. Moreover, every single KD sneaker was doing big numbers. At that point, the brand could truly do no wrong whenever it came to its athletes. While that does remain true to this day, you cannot discount what Nike was doing over 10 years ago.
During the 2012 All-Star Weekend, Nike dropped a ton of amazing sneakers. Although many of them are forgotten, there are others that remain beloved. One of those sneakers was the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy.” As it turns out, this shoe is actually going to make a comeback in 2024. Overall, this is amazing news. However, it seems like plenty of other shoes from the 2012 All-Star game will be returning. This includes none other than the Nike KD 4 “Galaxy,” which can be found down below.
“Galaxy” Nike KD 4
According to the Instagram sneaker insider @zsneakerheadz, this shoe is going to return alongside the Goamposite. Of course, this will be great news for sneakerheads as it means a second chance at copping these. Firstly, the shoe has a gorgeous silver upper with an orange Nike swoosh. Secondly, the shoe has a NASA-inspired graphic on the tongue. This is then followed up by the midsole which has a galaxy aesthetic. Overall, this is one of the best Nike KD 4 colorways ever, and we’re sure lots of fans would agree with that assessment.
Unfortunately, the release date for this new shoe has not yet been revealed. However, we do know that it should drop around the Spring, which means a March or April release. We could even see these as soon as February of 2024. Let us know whether or not you plan on copping a pair, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sneaker world. We will always be sure to keep you informed on the latest releases from the biggest brands.
Kevin Durant knows how it feels to be called the greatest player in the league. The Phoenix Suns star once held that honor as an MVP award winner. Now Durant is speaking on where the award currently sits in this day and age. In a recent episode of the Boardroom, Durant expressed concern about the prestigious award. This season, the MVP honor will be decided between former winners Giannis and Jokic, as well as a new frontrunner in, Joel Embiid.
In the discussion, Durant mentioned that the mystique of the award is gone. “It still matters … [but] the mystique of being an MVP is not what it once was.” The former MVP talked about how nothing is kept secret anymore. In any field or any sports league, everyone knows everything that is going on. However, just because the magic Durant once felt for the award is gone doesn’t mean it isn’t essential. Durant mentions that you still have to put in the work to be known as the best player in the game.
Kevin Durant Misses Magic Of MVP Award
Durant’s statement on the MVP discussion being talked about too much, rings true. Because the final month of the regular season was exhausting as the media discussed their picks for the award. Every day seemed like a new take was catching headlines on the award. However, this is the world we live in now. Everyone can have an answer at the touch of their fingertips. So, not knowing the winner of the award immediately could start impatient fans continuing to look for the answer.
The MVP award winner will soon be announced. However, something tells me that the media and fans will already be discussing the favorites for next year’s winner. We live in a fast-paced world that demands answers immediately. But sometimes, the wait is what makes the award announcement that much sweeter. That is one of the moments I believe Kevin Durant was speaking on when he mentioned the mystique of the award. So, do you agree with Durant’s comments on the MVP award? Drop your thoughts in our comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.
Devin Booker led the way for a Phoenix Suns victory on Tuesday night. The Suns evened up the series with the Clippers with a 123-109 win. Now the team will travel to Los Angeles looking to bring a series lead back to Phoenix. Booker and his teammates spoke with the media after last night’s win. However, Booker probably didn’t expect to hear one question that was asked of him. The question asked was, did the Suns need to prove they could win with Kevin Durant in the playoffs?
Obviously, Durant is one of the best players of his generation. So asking if the team needed to prove they could win with him may sound a little crazy. Booker quickly answered the question. A question that has never even crossed his mind. “That’s a 2-time champ. A 2-time Finals MVP. He’s proven enough. We didn’t lose any games with each other in the regular season & we just dropped Game 1.” In the video, Booker shares a hilarious reaction after hearing the question. Check the video out below.
Devin Booker Laughs Off Durant Question
Of course, the question was seeking a bizarre answer. However, Booker gave the right answer on the subject. Durant is a two-time champion, along with a 2-time Finals MVP. If the Suns couldn’t make his addition work, then something would be terribly wrong. Oh yeah, as Booker said, the team went undefeated with Durant in the lineup during the regular season. Game 1 of the series with the Clippers was the team’s first loss with Durant. That being the first loss is a pretty impressive statistic, in my mind.
The Suns don’t look worried about getting over the playoff “hump.” The question of winning Durant is just something the team has to deal with. But Booker and Paul know exactly how important Durant is to this team. The Suns will be back in action on Thursday against the Clippers. Hopefully, Devin Booker can handle having a Top 10 player of all time on the court with him. Spoiler alert, he will be able to. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here at HNHH.
On February 9, 2023, the Brooklyn Nets traded Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns in a blockbuster trade. The 34-year-old player is currently preparing to make a deep playoff run with the Suns alongside Chris Paul and Devin Booker following his stint with Brooklyn. In 2019, he signed a four-year $164 million contract with the Nets, which made him one of the five highest-paid players in the NBA. Along with this, Sun’s star player has many off-the-court endorsement deals. Here’s a look at the net worth of Kevin Durant.
Durant’s Net Worth
Kevin Durant has a net worth of around $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Durant is one of the highest-paid basketball players in the league. Along with the $42 million he makes from his annual NBA salary, Durant also has many endorsement deals and investment opportunities, earning additional tens of millions of dollars per year. Between June 2019 and June 2020, Durant reportedly brought in $65 million through various business ventures. Furthermore, Durant is an avid investor in the tech world. He co-founded ThirtyFive Ventures with Rich Kleiman, which has invested in over 80 start-up companies including PostMates.
Durant’s Basketball Salary
Kevin Durant has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and Phoenix Suns during his illustrious NBA career. Durant began making more than $20 million per year during the 2015-16 season with the Thunder. With an increase in the NBA’s salary cap, Durant’s salary has exponentially grown over the past few years. During this season, Kevin Durant reportedly made $44 million which contributed to his net worth. By the 2025-26 season, Durant is projected to make $54 million per year, according to experts. As Durant is still competing at a very high level, that number will likely increase even more once his current contract expires.
Kevin Durant first signed with Nike when he joined the NBA. He signed his first deal with the company for $60 million over seven years. After his MVP season in 2014, Durant re-signed with Nike on a reported ten-year $300 million deal. Kevin Durant has sixteen signature shoes with Nike and is probably the second most popular NBA player signed to Nike behind Lebron James. Durant currently makes $26 million per year from his Nike deal.
Durant’s Nike deal also guarantees him $50 million upon his retirement. Many companies such as Nike have begun awarding lifetime deals to their signature athletes, so Durant could be awarded even more money long after his NBA career ends. Despite this, Durant’s current deal with Nike runs out next year. It is very possible that he resigns from his deal with the company due to their seventeen-year relationship and success. However, regardless of where Durant signs, his shoe endorsement deal will likely grow even larger in the coming year.
Off-The-Court Investments
Kevin Durant owns one of the most wide-ranging investment portfolios of any NBA player. According to Forbes, the Phoenix Suns star has invested in over 80 companies through his firm ThirtyFive Ventures. Durant founded ThirtyFive Ventures with his agent/manager Rich Kleinman. In 2019, Durant reportedly made $35 million from off-the-court investments.
Durant owns small stakes in Postmates and the investment app Acorns. Durant is also involved in many sports-related ventures including an equity stake in the Overtime app. Along with this, Durant purchased a 5% stake in the Philadelphia Union of the MLS. Recent additions to ThirtyFive Ventures include OpenSea. Durant is also backing SeatGeek’s SPAC merger. Durant is also behind the media brand Boardroom and was a producer on “Two Distant Strangers,” which took home the Oscar for best live-action short film in 2021.
In addition to his investments, Durant also makes over $40 million from sponsors. Durant landed a sponsorship deal with Gatorade and other companies, as well. He also recently struck sponsorship deals with Coinbase, NBA Top Shot, and Weedmaps. In addition to this, Durant’s media company has production deals with Fox, ESPN, Apple, and Showtime.
Real Estate
Along with his basketball salary, endorsements, and investments, Durant has also owned tons of real estate across the country during his time in the NBA. Durant reportedly owns a number of properties in the Oklahoma City area due to his time with the Thunder. In 2013, Durant listed his house in the upper-class Club Villa neighborhood in Oklahoma City for $1.95 million, though he later slashed the price and sold the property for $1.1 million.
In 2018, he spent around $12 million on a beach-front home in Malibu, California. By June of the next year, Durant sold the home for $12.15 million dollars. The buyer of Durant’s Malibu mansion was Anthony Zuiker, who is the creator of the CSI television franchise. In July 2021, Durant purchased a $15.6 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California. Many celebrities own property in the same neighborhood including Madonna, the Kardashians, Drake (who sold his property in 2022), and John Stamos.
Durant has the potential to increase his net worth significantly over the next decade. Along with an increase in his NBA contract, Durant is poised to sign a new shoe deal and continue building his investment portfolio. While the basketball superstar’s NBA career could end in the next ten years, it seems that through investments and endorsements, Durant will continue his financial success.
Kevin Durant snapped this past year when he came through and dropped the Nike KD 15. Overall, this is a shoe that is considered to be one of the best in the line. Moreover, it was certainly a top three signature shoe of the past year. We say this with confidence, which is huge when you consider how many amazing sneakers dropped in 2022 and 2023. Either way, Durant is someone with a lot of pull in the NBA, so consequently, it is no surprise that Nike would try to give him the best signature possible.
Although the Nike KD 16 was recently revealed on Instagram, there is no doubt that the Nike KD 15 is still a priority. New colorways are still being unveiled, and fans are very excited about what is to come. Furthermore, the playoffs started this weekend, and there were plenty of amazing shoes on the court. Subsequently, we should be seeing a whole lot more as the postseason develops. In fact, Nike is now blessing us with a new KD 15 teaser, this time with the iconic “What The” aesthetic.
“What The” Nike KD 15
When it comes to the “What The” sneaker, there is never any rhyme or reason. There are also no set colors that are used. Essentially, the designers are told to go nuts and do as they please. Firstly, it is very evident upon looking at this shoe that we have something flashy at play here. Purples, lilacs, blues, yellows, red, and pinks can be found all throughout this silhouette. Overall, this is a colorway that is impossible to pin down. It is meant to make a statement, and it accomplishes just that.
A colorway on these has yet to be revealed, however, you can expect them to drop soon for a price of $160 USD. Although you may not love them, they would look good in a collection. Let us know your thoughts on this latest Nike KD 15, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sneaker world.
