It looks like Travis Scott is still headling Coachella after all — sort of. After the Houston rapper was dropped from the lineup following the mass casualty disaster at his own Astroworld Festival last summer, it appears he found a loophole to get back on the stage at Coachella (no, not that petition full of fake signatures): by joining Kanye West’s headlining set instead. Kanye appeared to confirm that he planned to bring out Travis in an Instagram post today, writing, “YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA.”
However, there’s one other caveat: Fellow headliner (and Travis replacement) Billie Eilish must first apologize to Travis Scott for hurting his feelings. In Kanye’s all-caps post, he railed against Billie for her comments during one of her own recent shows, during which she stopped performing to get a distressed fan medical assistance. “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going,” she said. Some fans interpreted the statement as a shot at Travis, who reportedly continued performing for almost 40 minutes after authorities had declared a mass casualty event at Astroworld.
According to Kanye, “TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED.” However, without an apology from Billie for… explaining herself, I guess… Kanye says, “I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM.” I’m not sure there’s an opt-out clause in his performance agreement for being insulted by pop stars half his age. He also recently demanded an apology from the whole Kardashian family for his own antics, so maybe he’ll spend the extra sulking time figuring his life out.
Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever, The World Tour is officially in full swing. Last night, she was in Washington D.C. to perform and she and brother Finneas even stopped by The White House to say what’s up to President Joe Biden. But something Eilish said on stage this past weekend at her Atlanta concert has really ruffled Kanye West’s feathers, and now his Coachella headlining appearance could be in jeopardy if Eilish doesn’t act.
A fan in the Atlanta crowd was apparently having trouble breathing and needed an inhaler. Eilish was made aware of this and briefly stopped the show. “Do we have an inhaler? Can we just grab one?” she asks the arena, before someone presents an inhaler to the fan. “We got one! Guys, give her some time. Don’t crowd. It’s ok, relax. We’re taking care of our people!” she says, reassuring the fan. Then as the situation calms down, Eilish walks back to restart the show and says, “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going.”
During her latest concert, Billie Eilish noticed that a fan was having trouble breathing.
So she stopped the entire concert of 20,000+ people — all for one fan — then told her crew to bring an inhaler so the fan could breath again.

This was interpreted by some as a reference to Travis Scott and the tragic crowd control issue at the Astroworld Festival that left at least ten people in the crowd dead. Kanye West just caught wind of what Eilish said and in an Instagram post today and demanded (in all caps) that she apologize to Scott for the comment, or he won’t perform at Coachella — where Eilish and Ye are both headlining. He also said that Scott wouldn’t perform either, whom he subsequently confirmed in the post is going to be his guest performer at the festival.

Even though Kanye West has spent the past week (it’s only Wednesday, people) acting out against his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, the volatile producer/fashion mogul apparently still wants to reconcile with her — even if he also seems to realize that to do so would take an act of God. Kanye posted to Instagram yet again today, this time crafting a grid of photos from Kim’s new Vogue cover story, writing in the caption: “GOD PLEASE BRING OUR FAMILY BACK TOGETHER.”
Kanye certainly hasn’t been helping the supreme deity on that count. Early this week, he lashed out at Kim over managing a TikTok account for their daughter North against his wishes, and after she rightfully called him out for repeatedly making their private problems public, he doubled down, posting even more accusations that claimed she tried to bar him from spending time with their kids, forced him to take a drug test, and even put out a hit on him as if the Kardashians were a mob family rather than reality TV stars.
Meanwhile, in the Vogue cover story, Kardashian herself cast even more doubt over the potential for reconciliation, saying, “For so long, I did what made other people happy. And I think in the last two years I decided, I’m going to make myself happy. And that feels really good. And even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I’ve chosen myself. I think it’s okay to choose you.”
She also not-so-subtly calls out Kanye’s passive-aggressive behavior. “You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best,’” she said. “Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through.”
Last fall, the entertainment world received the first preview of Jeen-Yuhs, the upcoming Netflix documentary that looks back on Kanye West’s near-20 year music career. It was a brief video of him and Mos Def rapping to their 2004 collaboration, “Two Words,” from the former’s debut album College Dropout. Since then, we’ve received two trailers from Jeen-Yuhs, which was made a reality thanks to directors Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah (aka Coodie And Chike). The film is comprised of three parts and the first one will be available to watch on Netflix next week on February 16.

Jeen-Yuhs is the phonetic spelling of the word “genius,” and that’s an adjective that’s often been used to describe Kanye West. Whether it be his vision in music through production, crafting full bodies of work, or spotting the next great talent, he’s earned that title in the realm. However, he’s also earned it in the fashion world through the work in his Yeezy brand whether it was during its time with Nike or now as a partner with Adidas. All in all, Jeen-Yuhs examines Kanye’s career from past to present and highlights the many ways he was ahead of his time, thus making him a genius — or a Jeen-Yuhs — that took people some time to realize.

They’ve enjoyed multiple dates together, including one where West set up an impromptu photoshoot for her in the middle of a restaurant. In a written piece she submitted to Interview Magazine, Fox wrote, “I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride.” Well, thanks to a new report, it seems like their future together will be of the non-traditional kind.
According to Complex, which cites Page Six as a source, Kanye and Julia are in an open relationship. It’s unknown if their relationship status has always been like this or it’s the result of a recent change, but the absence of both “jealousy” and “bad vibes” has been noted as a positive aspect of it. The two were also described as “evolved beings,” appearing to make it possible for them to co-exist in an open relationship. This report comes after Kanye was recently seen with a woman that many believe looks a lot like his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

In TMZ’s new report about a listening party Kanye held this week for his new album Donda 2, it notes that not only was the party attended by the usual assortment of Kanye’s associates, including Drake, French Montana, Offset, and Travis Scott but there was also a model, Chaney Jones, dressed almost exactly like Kim Kardashian when she attended the E! People’s Choice Awards in December, with similar black catsuit, gloves, and stiletto boots (although Jones’ only reached her knees, contrasting Kim’s thigh-high pair at the awards).
Meanwhile, actress Julia Fox — who Kanye has reportedly been courting for the past month — was nowhere to be found, despite being lavished with extravagant gifts by the rapper just weeks ago. Incidentally, Fox herself sparked speculation among commenters when she deleted several photos of the couple on Instagram. Fans on Twitter also made note of the resemblance between Kardashian and Jones.

Kanye’s relationship with the original Kim Kardashian has notably deteriorated in the past week, as he appears to be on a crusade to convince the world that she’s been unfair to him. He’s accused her of blocking him from their daughter Chicago’s birthday party, putting a hit out on him, and preventing him from spending time with their kids, all while threatening to beat up her new man, Pete Davidson.
The saga of Kanye West’s feud against his ex-wife’s family continued as Kanye posted a demand for a public apology from the Kardashians over allegedly not being told where his daughter Chicago’s birthday party was being held. He’s been fuming about this for a few weeks now, but today, he vented his frustration on Instagram, writing, “I still need a public apology from the entire family for this. You [give] everything you got to someone then they try to bully you and then say they won’t apologize. It’s up till they all take accountability. Every woman there including Cory [Gamble, Kris Jenner’s boyfriend].”
In addition to the caption, Kanye attached a screenshot of a text conversation, presumably one of the Kardashians or Jenners, in which he wrote, “I still need an apology for you not giving me the address to my daughter’s party.” Per Buzzfeed, he not only tagged several members of the extended family but also accounts such as Barack Obama’s, The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘s, Hillary Clinton’s, Jeff Bezos’, and Kamala Harris’. Kanye then deleted the post moments later.
The latest round in the tiff was sparked over Kanye’s complaint that Kim and their daughter North have a shared TikTok account from which they post trivial content like them dancing to trends or North savagely roasting her mom. However, when Kim noted her belief that Kanye’s online attacks would be more harmful to their daughter than allowing her to wear makeup and post videos online, Kanye ramped up his own campaign, accusing her of putting a hit on him and that she wouldn’t allow him to take their kids to a basketball game in his hometown.
Kanye’s behavior has drawn mixed reactions from social media personalities like Candace Owens, who defended his stance against TikTok, and Azealia Banks, who railed against him and the people “making excuses” for his behavior.
