Roddy Ricch Unveils The Tracklist For His Sophomore Album, ‘Live Life Fast’

After more than two years, Roddy Ricch is finally delivering a new album with his upcoming project Live Life Fast. It’s an effort that will hopefully match the success of his debut album Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial. The 2019 project spent multiple weeks at No. 1 while also carrying a song, “The Box,” that tallied eleven weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. Altogether, it’s a high bar that the Compton native will hopefully reach again. Just hours before he releases the project, Roddy returns to unveil its complete tracklist.

Through 18 songs, listeners will catch appearances from 21 Savage, Alex Isley, Bibi Bourelly, Fivio Foreign, Gunna, Jamie Foxx, Kodak Black, Takeoff, and Ty Dolla Sign. These are all guest appearances that Roddy previously revealed, but he did so without sharing the album’s complete tracklist until today. Now, thanks to an update to the album’s pre-save page on Apple Music, we’ve received full song titles in addition to knowing when these artists will appear beside Roddy throughout the album.

Most of the collaborations on Live Life Fast feature one guest except on two occasions: “Hibachi,” which places Kodak Black and 21 Savage with Roddy, and “Slow It Down,” which finds Ty Dolla Sign and Alex Isley working some magic together.

Jamie Foxx Recalls A Time He Used Snoop Dogg To Scare His Daughter’s Boyfriend

Some fathers don’t take too well to meeting their daughter’s boyfriends. One person is Jamie Foxx, who during a recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon told a story about how, when meeting his spawn’s paramour, sought a little help from no less than Snoop Dogg.

“My daughter, who didn’t know I had already run a background check on her boyfriend, he comes to the crib and Snoop happens to be there,” he told the crowd. “And I said, ‘Snoop, there he is right there. Shake him up.’ Snoop just walked over to my daughter’s boyfriend and just said ‘Hey, what’s up? What’s up cuz? You know. Hey, look here. You know. We her uncles, you know what I’m saying? So act accordingly, homie.’”

Foxx has two daughters, Corinne and Anelise, but he did not specify which one was subject to this episode. But since the latter is only 12 years old, it’s safe to say it’s Corrine.

For more with Snoop Dogg and Jamie Foxx, you can stay tuned for their upcoming film Day Shift. The movie is a vampire action thriller with a cast that includes Dave Franco, Eric Lange, Karla Souza, Meagan Good, and Zion Broadnax. A release date for the movie has not been revealed yet, but it is confirmed to arrive at some point in 2022.

RMR And Tylah Yaweh Throw An Unauthorized Party At Jamie Foxx’s House In Their ‘Vibes’ Video

Masked rapper RMR is a bad housesitter in the cheeky video for his new single “Vibes” featuring Tyla Yaweh. The client in question, Jamie Foxx, is away and leaves RMR the keys and some very simple instructions from the house manager. However, as soon as the house manager leaves, RMR throws a smirk at the camera as Tyla pulls up with a platoon of scantily-clad women.

However, it isn’t long before Jamie catches wind of the party via the security camera feed and makes his cameo appearance via FaceTime. Both he and his house manager are charmed into joining, even if Jamie can only be there by phone. At least things turned out better for the charming, masked artist than they did for DaBaby when he tried something similar a few months ago.

RMR, who experienced a viral breakout last year with country-trap cover of Rascal Flatts’ “God Bless The Broken Road” titled “Rascal,” proved he was more than just a one-hit-wonder with his Drug Dealing Is A Lost Art EP and its follow-up, 4th Qtr Medley, which likewise included covers of fan-favorite hits from the likes of Drake, Matchbox Twenty, and The Goo Goo Dolls.

Snoop Dogg Joins The Cast Of Jamie Foxx’s Netflix Vampire Hunter Movie

There are so many elements about the headline above that make me so happy, but the details behind it (courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter) make me even happier. There is the fact that Netflix has a vampire hunter action thriller coming out called Day Shift, where the main character’s cover is that of a pool cleaner. There is the fact that the pool cleaner is played by Jamie Foxx in full “girl dad” mode. I was already all the way in, but then they went ahead and added Snoop Dogg to it. Give it to me now. Right now.

The film’s the directorial debut for J.J. Perry, a seasoned second-unit director on films like John Wick (yes), The Fate Of The Furious (yes), and Bloodshot (oh no), so we can be reasonably well-assured that the action scenes will be on-point — and really, isn’t that all you want from a Jamie Foxx vampire hunter/pool cleaner flick? The script, written by Tyler Tice, was discovered at a screenplay competition, so it can’t be all bad, and the cast, which includes Dave Franco, Eric Lange, Karla Souza, Meagan Good, and Zion Broadnax, among others, seems strong enough to support the admittedly kinda silly concept.

There are a lot of ways this could go wrong, but I’m choosing to remain positive because if nothing else, there is the possibility of watching Snoop Dogg react to a vampire attack to look forward to, and “Snoop Dogg reacting to things” is a genre with a wealth of fun moments — especially if the things turn out to be supernatural and unusual. Also, Jamie Foxx’s last Netflix action flick Project Power (in which he was again in full “girl dad” mode) was really enjoyable, as is his current ’90s-style sitcom on the platform, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me (do you see the theme developing?).

There’s nothing on when Day Shift will hit streaming, but turnaround on Netflix films is usually pretty quick so expect to see this one out at a theme appropriate time — say, Halloween.
