T.I. Names His Top Five Rappers Turned Actors

While a lot of rappers stick to what they blew up with, it’s more common by the day to see them venture into other fields. T.I. just shared his top five list of rappers turned actors with Jalen Rose on the Renaissance Man podcast. Moreover, his list includes a lot of the classic heavy hitters that can’t escape a mention.

“Name me your top five rappers turned actors,” Rose asked the Atlanta MC, who laughed at the question

“Damn,” the rapper began. “Tupac, Will Smith, Cube, Ice-T… man, Queen Latifah.”

To give credit where it’s due, it seemed like T.I. had his answers on lock quite quickly. Furthermore, all those names are legendary when it comes to crossing mediums over. Also, it’s funny to hear the 42-year-old talk about acting considering Morgan Freeman got him fired from a movie.

T.I.’s (Almost) Big Break

However, to be fair, T.I. almost made it big in that industry, as well. During a recent interview with Shannon Sharpe, he talked about how he was almost cast for Nick Cannon’s role in the film Drumline.

“[Dallas Austin] was telling me about his first film,” he said. “I was always like, ‘Yo bruh, put me in it.’ And he was like, ‘Aight, yeah man. Say less.’ He sent me to go read and I read and they were like, ‘Man, you got to learn how to play the drums.’ And I was like, ‘I could play like I could play the drums.’ They were like, ‘Nah, you gotta learn how.’ I was like, ‘Man, I don’t wanna do that.’

“I just didn’t want to commit myself to it at the time. It wasn’t there,” the “Live Your Life” star continued. “But I read, and I didn’t get it, and that movie went on to be Drumline. Yeah, I was reading for Nick Cannon’s part.

“Look, that opened the door for me to do ATL,” he added. “After I didn’t get the role for Drumline, I went back to Dallas and said, ‘Man, next time, bruh, just give me the role. I ain’t going to read or nothing. Just give me the role.’ And he was like, ‘Cool,’ and he just gave the role for Rashad in ATL.”

Still, what do you think of T.I.’s top five rappers turned actors list? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, log back into HNHH for the latest lists and ranking of the game’s best from the game’s best.

Jalen Rose Responds To Stephen A. Smith Speculation

Jalen Rose is someone who has worked with ESPN for a very long time. Overall, he is one of their best people when it comes to basketball, and he will continue to be over the long haul. That being said, there are some people out there who believe he has beef with none other than Stephen A. Smith.

Much of this speculation comes from rumors that Stephen A. has slept with Rose’s ex, Molly Qerim. However, Rose has shut down these rumors in the past. Regardless, after making some interesting tweets about people who hate the Cowboys, some fans felt like Rose was taking shots at the First Take veteran.

With numerous Twitter accounts speaking about the supposed slight, Rose decided it was time to respond. After all, you don’t want to have some sort of public feud with one of the biggest fish in the pond. In the tweet down below, you can see that Rose believes this is all overblown. Additionally, he noted that he is mostly talking about Skip Bayless.

“He is my brother and this is not accurate. If anything it was for Mr 1.4ppg playing JV as a junior,” Rose said matter of factly. This is an interesting route to go when you consider how Bayless is actually a huge Cowboys fan. Although, some pointed out that he could simply be talking about Skip throwing his Dak jersey in the trash.

Overall, this is one of those frequent moments in which social media blows everything out of proportion. At this point, it is impossible to speak freely on Twitter unless you actually tag whomever you’re talking about. Otherwise, people are going to misinterpret you in the least charitable ways.

Hopefully, Smith and Rose are doing just fine amid all of this. Let us know what you think of the situation, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world.

Jalen Rose Has Fans Thinking He Has Beef With Stephen A. Smith

Jalen Rose and Stephen A. Smith are two people who have been involved in rumors about one another. As many already know, Rose got a divorce from First Take moderator Molly Qerim recently. Subsequently, fans began to speculate about Stephen A. and whether or not he was sleeping with Qerim on the low.

Eventually, the rumors got out of hand and Rose had to put them to bed. However, the rumors have since been reignited after a series of tweets from Rose’s account on Monday night. These tweets were all related to those who hate the Cowboys on TV.

“So glad I didn’t make a career of content pretending to fake troll the Cowboys,” Rose wrote. “Praying on the audience being dumb/lazy and low hanging fruit. No @ needed. Damn near all shows selling clowns this like it’s quality content. You da fool.”

Jalen Rose Sparks Speculation

These tweets immediately had people thinking that he was talking about Stephen A. After all, Smith is one of the biggest Cowboys haters out there. He has always tried to slander the franchise, and it’s not a stretch to assume that is who Rose was talking about.

Consequently, there were plenty of tweets from fans who speculated about Molly and Stephen A. The consensus here is that Rose has some sort of vendetta against Smith. Of course, no one actually knows the nature of their relationship, although that did not stop people from unleashing their Twitter fingers.

To be fair to Rose, there are a plethora of broadcasters out there who have made a career off of trolling the Cowboys. Moreover, Smith is known for much more than just his Cowboys hate. Regardless, there is no denying that there was quite a bit of salt in whatever Rose was talking about.

Jalen Rose Rips Skip Bayless For Shannon Sharpe Diss

Jalen Rose has never been a big fan of Skip Bayless. Of course, the two got into a very infamous exchange on ESPN back in the day. Rose brought up the fact that Skip only averaged 1.4 points per game in high school. Additionally, Rose referred to Bayless as ‘Water Pistol Pete.”

Overall, this was a hilarious exchange that ultimately ended with some on-air discourse. It is something that Rose has never forgotten, and Skip has certainly never earned his respect. Since that time, Skip has moved on to FS1, while Rose continues to work for ESPN.

Jalen Rose Comments On Skip-Shannon Beef

Recently, Skip Bayless went way too far while debating Shannon Sharpe. They were in the midst of a conversation about Tom Brady, when Skip referred to the NFL star as jealous. Sharpe did not like this and mentioned that he is in the Hall of Fame. This led to a cheap shot from Bayless who told Sharpe that Brady is better than him.

This did not go over well with Sharpe, who became livid with Bayless. He took off his glasses and began to yell at his co-host, who continued to antagonize him. Overall, it was a bad look for Bayless, and now, he is getting criticism from the likes of Rose.

As you can see below, Rose took to Twitter and wrote “Wow what a bully tactic and clowns call him drip. Definition of a #culturevulture.” It was a pretty biting critique of Bayless, although it is one you would certainly expect given their past.

This situation has been a horrible look for Bayless, however, it doesn’t seem like he cares. He has yet to make any sort of apology, and on today’s show, the viral clip wasn’t even acknowledged.

Hopefully, Bayless sees the error of his ways soon.
