Justin Bieber Will Perform With The Kid Laroi, Jaden, Kehlani, And Others At His Three-Day Vegas Weekender

Justin Bieber is bringing his talents to Las Vegas and it’s not just for one night only. Rather, the singer has curated a three-day getaway experience in Las Vegas for he and his fans to enjoy, and Bieber won’t be the only one putting on a show there.

The Justice singer invited The Kid Laroi, Jaden, Kehlani, David Guetta, and others to perform at the experience, which will be held on the weekend of October 7-10 at Wynn Las Vegas’ XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club. The entire getaway was curated by Bieber himself, who made sure to include some of his favorite activities in the Weekender’s itinerary.

The Vegas experience begins on Thursday night with an opening party at XS. The following day presents a pool party at Encore Beach, with Bieber’s activation arriving on the final day. There, attendees will be able to enjoy his favorite food and drink pop-ups, a half-pipe and skate park, and, of course, a show headlined by the singer himself. Troyboi and Eddie Benjamin also appear on the guest list for performers with more special guests set to be announced at a later date.

Bieber recently saw he and The Kid Laroi’s “Stay” collaboration spend a second week atop the Billboard singles chart. The track is their second song together as they previously collaborated on “Unstable” from Bieber’s sixth album, Justice. Jaden also appeared on the album while Kehlani can be found on “Get Me” from Changes.

Jaden Shares The Wistful ‘Bye’ From His Upcoming ‘CTV3 Day Trippers Edition’

“I was sad when I made this song, but I’m happy it’s out,” Jaden said of his new song “Bye” in a press release. “Welcome to CTV3, welcome to trippy summer. It was the time of our lives.” The new single is the first release from the upcoming deluxe edition of his recently released mixtape CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3,, titled Day Trippers Edition.

“Bye” operates in the same mode as “Cabin Fever,” with a groovy, danceable beat and nostalgic lyrics about a lost love. However, it updates the production, to include more synth and a slightly more futuristic outlook than the throwback vibe on “Cabin Fever.”

While the original version of CTV3 mostly found Jaden performing solo on tracks like “Rainbow Bap” and “Photograph,” the Day Trippers Edition will feature an impressive array of guests, including Joey Badass, Justin Bieber (with whom he previously collaborated on “Falling For You“), and ¿Téo?.

In the months since releasing the project, Jaden has been busy, appearing on the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Miles Morales and opening a restaurant where homeless people can eat healthy food for free in LA.

Jaden Smith Is Opening A Restaurant Where Homeless People Can Eat For Free

Jaden Smith — who is also known mononymously as “Jaden” — is set to expand his philanthropic food truck operation into a full-blown restaurant, according to Variety (scroll down a bit). The restaurant, called I Love You, builds on the efforts he made to help feed homeless people on Los Angeles’ Skid Row two years ago with his I Love You food truck. In order for the concept to work, Jaden has figured out an unusual strategy to help offset costs: Those who can pay will pay more to “pay for the person behind you.”

While the report sports meager details — we don’t yet know when or where I Love You restaurant will open — it’s a pretty safe bet he’ll be able to follow through on his plans. Last year, he partnered with Lyft to provide free rides to people in communities like Flint, Michigan so that they have access to clean water, grocery stores, and work opportunities. He also has a boxed water initiative aimed at encouraging people to use more environmentally friendly methods of drinking portable water than plastic bottles.

Jaden is coming off a successful 2020 that saw the well-received release of his Cool Tape Vol. 3 and Jaden’s participation in the soundtrack from the Spider-Man: Miles Morales video game.

Jaden Drowns In His Emotions In The Melancholy ‘Photograph’ Video

Although Jaden’s mostly known for following in his famous dad’s musical footsteps, his latest single is a departure from his old-school influenced raps. “Photograph,” which comes from Jaden’s 2020 mixtape CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3, takes an even sharper left turn from that project’s pop-rock-oriented lead single “Cabin Fever,” slowing things way down for an indie-ish guitar ballad about the longing Jaden feels for an ex-flame.

Fittingly, the video for the song, released today, finds Jaden literally and figuratively drowning in his emotions as he wanders along the beach, getting lost in the waves. Several striking underwater shots punctuate the overwhelming melancholy he feels in the song’s lyrics as he croons, “I’m in the middle of the ocean and I need you right now / If I can’t love you, I guess I’ll just drown.”

Imagined as a prequel of sorts to his Syre and Erys albums, Cool Tape Vol. 3 tracks the sort of teenage love affair that does feel as big as an ocean — and just as mercurial. The project found him diverging from his usual style and reuniting with Justin Bieber on a song for the first time in a decade. More recently, Jaden returned to his rap roots to once again celebrate Marvel’s Miles Morales with “I’m Ready” from the Spider-Man: Miles Morales video game’s soundtrack.
