When you’re at a wedding, it seems like the last thing you’d want to talk about is children being caged at the US and Mexico border. However, this is exactly the kind of conversation former US President Donald Trump sparked at a wedding in Mar-a-Lago on Saturday night. Happy couple John and Megan Arrigo hosted a fancy ceremony where they were surprised with a speech from the ex-Commander-in-Chief, although he didn’t really acknowledge the bride and groom.

“I turned off the news, I get all these flash reports… they’re telling me about the border, they’re telling me about China,” Trump starts. “They’re telling me about Iran, how we doing with Iran?” Guests laugh at the comment initially, but the speech seems to quickly spiral out of control when Trump further complains about border control and President Joe Biden. Trump calls the way that he controlled the border during his presidency the more “humanitarian” approach, rather than the conditions that are being sustained under Biden currently. 

“Do you miss me yet?” Trump asks the wedding guests, to which they gleefully cheer. “We did get 75 million votes,” he says. “Nobody’s ever gotten that. They said, ‘Get 66 million votes, sir, and the election’s over.’ Well, I got 75 million.” 

It seems like even though Trump hijacked a speech that was supposed to be about the wedding, guests were entertained by the strange commentary nonetheless. Watch the video of the speech below.

Lil Nas X had the Twitter world buzzing over the weekend as he unveiled a brand new collaboration with MSCHF. The collab saw MSCHF create their very own version of the Nike Air Max 97, which featured a drop of blood in the midsole. The shoe was also going to cost $1,018 USD, and only 666 pairs were made, which, of course, goes with the whole Satan aesthetic. Many were absolutely enraged by this and felt as though Lil Nas X was trying to possess people.

Today, the shoe went on sale at around 11 AM EST and it immediately sold out. It only took a few minutes for every pair to be scooped up, and Nas X made sure to alert his haters about it. In the tweets below, Lil Nas X even said his foes were looking pretty down bad.

“Y’all talked so much shit about these shoes just for them to sell out in literally less than one minute. lmao y’all going out SAD!” he wrote on Twitter. Clearly, the outrage only helped to boost sales, and Lil Nas X is the biggest winner in all of this.

At the end of the day, controversy is always going to bring publicity, and all of the people clutching their pearls over the devil, should have known better.

Pop star Lil Nas X is on a roll this weekend, going on his fifth day straight of tackling the trolls who are angry about his queer representation in the music video to his latest single “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)“. The rapper is being accused of worshipping Satan because of his sneaker collaboration with MSCHF, which contains Satanic imagery and a single drop of human blood. The sneakers officially launched this morning and sold out in under a minute. 

Among the people that have taken issue with Lil Nas X’s latest moves in the music game are Joyner Lucas, who called out the 21-year-old on Twitter. “I think the biggest problem for me is the fact he dont understand ‘old town road’ is every kids anthem,” said the Massachusetts-born rapper. “Children love him for that record. They tuned in and subscribed to his channels. So with no disclaimer he just dropped some left field ish & all our kids seen it. Smh.”

Lil Nas X has responded and he’s taking no prisoners, blaming Joyner for letting his kids listen to “Old Town Road” in the first place. “I literally sing about lean & adultery in old town road. u decided to let your child listen. blame yourself,” said LNX, burning Joyner.

This appears to just be the start for Lil Nas X, who has stirred the pot to a dangerous degree, pissing off homophobes and bigots across the globe. What do you think of his new video?

Summer Walker has always been known for her internet antics, but she left fans completely shocked on Sunday when she posted a photoset of her in the mirror, only days after giving birth. In the photos, Summer wears a skin-tight caramel-colored dress that shows off her curvy post-pregnancy body. She’s glowing and radiating confidence in the post, certainly lavishing in the love and joy of a new baby– although her caption may say otherwise (“loner”). It’s not entirely clear if these photos were taken after the birth of her daughter, but it is the focus of the comment section.

“She didn’t have to snap back on us like that I mean damn,” said one commenter. “If I was this fine I’d stay alone in my bathroom too lol,” said another comment. Even Erykah Badu couldn’t help but comment in approval: “Snap back,” followed by flame emojis.

Many fans were confused and concerned last week when an Instagram account under the name “Princess Bubblegum” appeared, seemingly run by London and Summer. Some speculated that the two were actually going to name their daughter Bubblegum, but Summer quickly shut down the idea that the account was run by her, saying, “Don’t be sick & obsessed. Let’s respect my privacy.” Summer also noted that there would be no photos of her child on the internet, so it seems like we won’t be getting any cute baby photos anytime soon.

Vanessa Bryant has called on a judge to dismiss the lawsuit that her mother, 68-year-old Sofia Laine, is filing against Kobe Bryant’s estate. Sofia is attempting to claim lifetime support out of Kobe’s estate, noting that Kobe promised to financially take care of her for the rest of her life. According to new court documents that Vanessa has obtained, however, Sofia seems to have never acknowledged this “promise” until after Kobe’s death. 

Vanessa cites court documents from 2004 and 2008, when Sofia was having a legal altercation with her now ex-husband. Her ex claimed that he should not need to pay spousal support because Sofia was being supported by Kobe and Vanessa, which she vehemently denied, saying that they had no obligation to support her and whatever they gave her came purely from the goodness of their hearts. 

Sofia’s ex-husband also attempted to argue, using a tabloid story, that Vanessa had bought a $1 million home for her mother, so he didn’t need to pay her. Sofia called the tabloid story “absolutely false” and said, “I would never permit Vanessa to do such a thing. I have not and do not (nor should I be required to) rely on Vanessa for my support.”

In the lawsuit, Sofia argued that Kobe and Vanessa violated California labor laws when she was babysitting her grandkids, as they allegedly did not give her meal breaks, rest periods, and paid her minimum wage. According to Vanessa, “[Sofia] was never an ’employee’ … [she] is a grandmother who, at times, helped her daughter and son-in-law by spending time with her grandchildren.”

A judge has not yet ruled.

Back in 2017, Tom Brady led the New England Patriots back to the Super Bowl, where they played against the Atlanta Falcons. This was Brady’s chance at winning a fifth Super Bowl, which would make him the winningest quarterback of all-time. The start of the game was a disaster for Brady and his Patriots, as he threw numerous interceptions, all while the Falcons kept scoring. By the third quarter, the score was 28-3 and the Patriots seemingly had no shot at winning.

Well, as we all know by now, the Pats came back and won in overtime, with 28-3 becoming a huge meme that will forever haunt the Falcons. On Sunday, which just so happens to be March 28th (3-28), Brady decided to troll the Falcons by celebrating the day and even posting an old photo of him celebrating with his former teammates.

It’s a pretty hilarious way to take a dig at the Falcons although it is certainly unfortunate for all of the fans in Atlanta who have had to endure the embarrassment of that loss. The Falcons’ late-game collapse will forever be the worst thing to happen to a team in the Super Bowl, and once again, Brady was the beneficiary.

For Patriots fans, March 28th might just have to become a National holiday.

The paternal grandmother of President Barack Obama, Sarah Obama, has passed away at the age of 99 inside of a Kenyan hospital. The family matriarch died at 4 AM local time while being treated at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral hospital.

“Mama was sick with normal diseases, she did not die of COVID-19,” confirmed family spokesperson Sheik Musa Ismail. She had reportedly been ill for a week before being admitted to the hospital where she tested negative for the virus. She will be buried on Tuesday.

“My family and I are mourning the loss of our beloved grandmother, Sarah Ogwel Onyango Obama, affectionately known to many as ‘Mama Sarah’ but known to us as ‘Dani’ or Granny,” said former President Barack Obama on Twitter. “We will miss her dearly, but we’ll celebrate with gratitude her long and remarkable life.”

He posted an older picture of himself and Mama Sarah from a visit to Africa. 

The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, said, “The passing away of Mama Sarah is a big blow to our nation. We’ve lost a strong, virtuous woman, a matriarch who held together the Obama family and was an icon of family values.”

Fans of the Air Jordan 1 have been blessed with a plethora of great colorways over the years. At this point, it seems like the shoe will simply never die as it is just too good of a silhouette to pass up. It’s something that can go with virtually any outfit and it also boasts several colorways that will forever be considered classic. 2021 is set to see numerous Air Jordan 1s make their way to the market, and thanks to @zsneakerheadz on Instagram, we have seen numerous teasers for the summer.

One of the colorways that have been shown off is this women’s colorway called “Seafoam.” As you can see in the IG post below, the shoe has a white base, all while light green is placed on top as the overlays. It makes for a very clean offering, although the laces have a white and red candy cane thing going on. It’s a unique extra detail that makes this shoe that much better.

Though it was originally supposed to arrive on Black Friday in 2020, the YSL camp has opted to shift the upcoming release of Slime Language 2 into “to be determined” territory. And while concrete news about the compilation project remains relatively elusive, that hasn’t stopped some of the key minds behind Slimage Language 2 from whetting our collective appetites with a few promising snippets.

Today, Young Thug took to his own Instagram page to preview an upcoming banger produced by Wheezy, one that immediately invites comparisons to So Much Fun standout “Hot,” if only for the prominent use of victorious strings. Staring unwaveringly into the camera, he proceeds to engage in a spontaneous dance routine while his verse kicks off in the background; though he only showcases four bars or so, it’s enough to get an idea of how he intends on attacking Wheezy’s instrumental. “Yo turn,” he captions, tagging Gunna to share his own snippet.

It didn’t take long for Gunna to acquiesce to the request, hitting the studio and sharing a glimpse at his own verse. Rather than keeping Thug’s energy and preserving the spirit of the dance battle, Gunna opted for chicken and weed. Similarly to Thug, about four bars of his own verse can be heard at the beginning, transitioning into high-pitched cries of “SKI!” Given that he also used “SKIIII” as his caption, perhaps we’re looking at a possible song title. Unfortunately, neither party provided information about the release date.
