Stipe Miocic Addresses His Fans After Loss To Francis Ngannou

Stipe Miocic went into his heavyweight tilt against Francis Ngannou as the defending champion, and many fans expected him to come out and be successful. In the end, however, it was Ngannou who absolutely dominated Miocic from start to finish. Eventually, Ngannou ended Miocic in the second round with a vicious punch, and now, the UFC has a brand new heavyweight titleholder.

Recovering from these losses can be very tough but Miocic is doing it with class. Today, he took to his Instagram account where he made sure to let his fans know that he is okay, although he certainly feels bad about losing. Despite this, he is looking forward to the next challenges and understands that he can’t win all the time.

“First and foremost, I’m ok. I know that fall wasn’t my most graceful fall, but I was unconscious, so it happens,” Miocic said. “To my family friends and fans, especially Croatia & Cleveland. I love you and I’m sorry. I hate letting you down. To my team, thank you. I know you feel every loss just as much as I do. We win as a family, we lose as a family. Losses aren’t fun, they always sting for a while, but that’s the beast of this business. You can’t win them all, and it’s important to understand that losing is just as much a part of sports (and life) as winning. Don’t ever forget God will always put you where you’re meant to be at that exact moment.”

If you’re a Miocic, there is plenty to learn from here and he still has time to come back and get the title back. In the meantime, however, Miocic is happy to just relax and reflect on his past success.

Lil Nas X Releases Extended Version Of “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)”

Lil Nas X is a master troll. He knew that his new single and the accompanying music video would get people talking and, on cue, the entire world seemingly had something to say when “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” finally dropped. After teasing the song’s release for nearly a full year, the 21-year-old rapper came through with the controversial music video, which shows him making his way up to heaven before pole-dancing his way down to hell and seducing the devil. Additionally, Lil Nas X released a collaborative pair of sneakers with MSCHF that features satanic imagery and includes a drop of human blood.

As people continue to debate about Lil Nas X’s new single and video, the certified hitmaker has officially come through with “Satan’s Extended Version” of the song, which has been lengthened by thirty seconds with a bridge and an extra chorus. In case you wanted even more of Montero’s world, now you’ve got all the tools to enjoy it.

I wanna feel on your ass in Hawaii
I want that jet lag from f*ckin’ and flyin’

Lil Nas X Wants Fans To Troll Chick Fil-A By Playing ‘Call Me By Your Name’ In The Drive Thru

Lil Nas X is very, very good at trolling his critics on the internet. Whether through direct responses to his detractors like Joyner Lucas and Dave East or more subtly calling out the hypocrisy behind negative commentary against him, Nas X has shown himself to be one of music’s most creative clap-back connoisseurs.

In the wake of his new song “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” those critics are giving him plenty of ammunition. On the day of the song’s release, he gave a measured response to the complaints against the video, joking, “Y’all love saying we going to hell but get upset when I actually go there.” After five days of escalating attacks though, he’s going on the offensive.

“OMG if you roll down your window at Chic Fil A playing ‘Call Me By Your Name’ they give u a free sandwich and a lemonade,” he tweeted, slyly pointing out how the restaurant chain had reportedly spent millions supporting anti-LGBTQ groups such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Paul Anderson Youth Home. Nas, who is gay and pointed out how the “Montero” video was a commentary on anti-gay messaging in pop culture, warned his haters: “I had 9 months to plan this rollout. Y’all are not gonna win bro.”

Some fans are already taking his advice to heart, tweeting their own joking — and polar opposite — results after trying out his tip.

Nas also continued his campaign of mockery against the Satanic Panic by sharing an extended version of “Montero.” You can check that out here.

Tobe Nwigwe Drops Off “A Revealing Freestyle”

If he’s not yet on your radar, be sure to keep an eye out for Tobe Nwigwe — especially if you’re invested in the art of bars. Never failing to deliver in that regard, the Texan-based emcee has come through with “A Revealing Freestyle,” a spirited performance delivered from the comfort of his living room couch. In true family man fashion, Nwigwe’s wife Fat and children hold it down alongside him, with the former providing ad-libs whenever appropriate.

“Big words for you nerds, a big dub for the west,” he spits. “Just chopped it up with Nas, Diddy hit me on the text / low key it was a FaceTime but I ain’t even trying to flex / I’m just sayin’ I was broke, and now I’m rocking wit the best.” As the freestyle livens up, Nwigwe’s pushes his voice to its extremities as he lets fly an exciting announcement. “Swerve and I swing, Fat be the queen,” he spits, rising from the couch. “And low-key she pregnant as hell, we just ain’t said a thing / kid number 3, or maybe even four / we only been to one doctor visit, hell we don’t even know!”

It’s a wholesome moment to be sure, and one that happens to arrive complete with a dose of deftly delivered bars — as has come to be expected whenever Tobe Nwigwe gets to rapping. Check it out for yourself now, and congratulations to the Nwigwe family for the newest addition!

Deshaun Watson has been in the news quite a bit over the last couple of weeks as he has been accused of sexual assault by numerous women, who all claim to be massage therapists that were assaulted by the star. At first, Watson was being sued by one woman, which led to a few more coming with their own lawsuits. Now, Watson is being sued by 19 women, and they all have similar stories about how Watson took advantage of their vulnerability and line of work.

Joining McGregor and Christensen in Kenobi are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. As Star Wars die-hards will likely recognize, Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse previously played Luke’s Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru in Revenge Of The Sith, so expect to see them returning to the fold in some capacity.

As has been previously reported, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi will be taking place a decade after the events of Revenge Of The Sith, following Obi-Wan Kenobi’s adventures on Tatooine following his tragic duel with his former apprentice. As for Christensen, expect to see some of the transitional stages of his Darth Vader transformation, though it’s unclear as to whether or not he’ll end up crossing paths with his exiled Jedi master.

Production of Obi-Wan Kenobi will begin in April. The standalone series will be directed by Mandalorian director Deborah Chow, who helmed first-season episodes “The Sin” and “The Reckoning.” Check out the full cast announcement below, and look for more news on Kenobi as it surfaces.

Cardi B Strips Down To G-String To Show Off Long Hair & Back Tattoo

On Sunday, Cardi B took to her Instagram stories to strip down and show off her feminine curves, her long, flowing hair, and her back tattoo. While Cardi is certainly no stranger to wearing fun and extravagant wigs, she also wanted to show off her natural hair, which she’s clearly taken good care of.

In the video, Cardi faces away from the camera, wearing only a g-string and holding up her thick hair. She shakes it back and forth, running her hands through it and showing just how hydrated and healthy it is. Her massive floral back tattoo is revealed when she holds up her tresses, showing off the flamboyant and colorful butterflies, blooming flowers, and stunning hummingbird.

28-year-old Cardi definitely deserves to show off the massive tat, which took Jamie Schene of Union3 Tattoo nearly 60 hours of work to complete. The tattoo was done across more than 10 cities before the COVID-19 outbreak, as Cardi’s schedule prior to the pandemic took her all around the world. The huge artwork on her back is not Cardi’s only tattoo, though. The rapper’s most prominent piece is on her upper thigh, where she frequently shows off the peacock that wraps around her right leg. Cardi also has some roses on her left leg and a tattoo that says “Loyalty Over Royalty” on her right bicep.

Check out the Cardi clip below.

Blake Griffin Has A Message For Nets Haters

Blake Griffin is one of the latest additions to the Brooklyn Nets and in just a few short games, Griffin has shown himself to be a solid depth player that will make this team extremely dangerous in the playoffs. They already have superstar talent like Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Harden, although players like Griffin will only make them even better as the season goes forward. Not to mention, the team just got LaMarcus Aldridge which is borderline unfair.

There has been a lot of criticism of these moves, with some fans claiming the Nets are ruining the league. While speaking Malika Andrews, Griffin noted that he finds this to be amusing as he is well-aware of how fans have been claiming he sucks, for years. Now that he is on the Nets, however, his presence is somehow a problem.

Griffin makes a solid point here, as there are plenty of people out there who believe he’s washed. If this were the case, him joining the Nets wouldn’t be a big deal, however, somehow, it is. It’s proof that NBA fans are constantly looking for something to complain about, and right now, the Nets are the scapegoats.

If the Nets win the championship, then Griffin better be ready for a summer full of slander.
