Bobby Shmurda Teases The Ladies With A Thirst Trap

If music doesn’t end up working for Bobby Shmurda, there’s always OnlyFans.

The New York rap star was released from prison this week, getting let out ten months early on Tuesday morning. As the world waits for new music from the “Hot N***a” rapper, who was awarded four new certifications this week, including a 5-time platinum plaque for the aforementioned record, Bobby is getting acclimated to the new world that he’s been locked away from for six years. He’s learning about how to sustain himself as a pop culture phenomenon and he knows that, with the ladies, it helps to have some sex appeal. The GS9 rapper showed off that he can be a sex symbol if he wants to be, sharing a new thirst trap photo on Instagram.

“Hem woke up like this,” wrote Bobby, standing inside his high-rise apartment in New York City and rocking sunglasses, gold jewelry, black boxer-briefs, and no shirt. “Chocolate city n***a go get a tan.”

In the comments, people are waking up with some thirsty remarks for the 26-year-old artist, also flooding his mentions and telling the star to release a song with vocals from the late Pop Smoke. On Wednesday night, Bobby posted videos listening to the “Hello” artist, which prompted a barrage of people clamoring for a collaboration between the two. Unfortunately, the logistics behind that would be pretty tricky, but it would be a huge look for Bobby to come back with a posthumous feature from Pop Smoke.

Since his release from prison, Bobby has been going crazy on Instagram, seeing his follower count jump by over 3 million. Before he got out, he was stuck at 900,000 followers but, just a few days later, he’s sitting at 4 million.

Freddie Gibbs Tells Joe Rogan He Once Shot A Crackhead 9 Times

Freddie Gibbs may not be pressed to follow the various Hip-Hop trends that come and go, but he has made a spot for himself within the culture nevertheless. Over the years, Gibbs has dropped acclaimed projects such as PiñataYou Only Live 2wiceBandana, and most recently Alfredo. His latest album has even garnered him a Grammy nomination for “Best Rap Album” in the upcoming Grammy ceremony.

In addition to the music, Freddie Gibbs is known for his comedic antics as well, from roasting fans (and DJ Akademiks) to providing funny commentary on rap-related news like Lil Uzi’s new forehead diamond. In a move that some fans may have never seen coming, Gangsta Gibbs recently made an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience and discussed a myriad of topics, from crack to R. Kelly.

One clip that has really gone viral from their entire episode is the bit in which Gibbs reveals that he once shot a crackhead nine times, but the crackhead kept running.

In the clip, Freddie Gibbs nonchalantly states, “You know, this is some real shit because there’s a crackhead back in the day. I shot him that n**** nine times with a TEC-9, and he kept running down the alley.” Joe Rogan and Brian Moses looked momentarily flabbergasted by the Alfredo rapper’s admission, but they ultimately just smoothed by that part and continued to discuss the differences between crack and cocaine.

Checking out a longer clip of the exchange definitely provides more context, so you can watch that moment from Freddie Gibbs’ Joe Rogan appearance in the clip below. Hopefully, Gibbs’ comments won’t result in any legal action taken against him.

Jayda Cheaves Sells Custom Jeep Gifted To Her By Lil Baby

Lil Baby and Jayda Cheaves are no longer a couple, breaking up after countless cheating scandals had broken out on social media. The two celebrities had been plagued with constant chatter surrounding their relationship, especially by other women who felt compelled to throw Jayda’s rapper boyfriend under the bus, exposing him as a two-timer. A couple of adult film stars alleged that they were intimate with Baby, and while that originally didn’t throw the couple off their pivot, Jayda seemingly had had enough after a certain point.

Now, it appears as though she’s trying to shed any of the constant reminders of Lil Baby in her life. This week, it was reported that the custom hot pink Jeep Wrangler Sahara that Baby bought her for her birthday was up for sale, complete with the custom “Wayda” details on the seats. Some people saw that the vehicle was being sold and instantly assumed that Jayda was trying to be petty by getting a bag off Baby’s birthday gift, but it turns out that she’s doing it for her own safety.

According to Jayda, something happened in the car and she no longer wants a bright pink whip to drive around, citing her own protection. “I was getting rid of my Jeep because I had an incident one night while driving it,” she wrote on Instagram. “Nothing more nothing less. Safety comes first!”

It’s unclear what happened in the car, but a bright pink whip would bring you a lot of attention. At the end of the day, everybody knew that Jayda was rolling in these wheels, so it’s probably best that she switches up her ride.

As it stands, she does not appear to be interested in getting back with Lil Baby, keeping her fans updated with daily updates online.

Would you buy Jayda’s old whip?

Young Buck Addresses 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, & Lloyd Banks On “Ash Tray”

Anybody who remembers the rise and dominant run of G-Unit will likely hold respect for Young Buck, even if that respect doesn’t always translate to streaming numbers. And while the Cashville emcee has fallen on hard times in the industry, having been essentially blackballed and publically shamed by former group members, Buck has remained relentless in his output, following up his recent Vaccine tape with yet another new drop in “Ash Tray.”

A team-up effort with Drumma Boy, who whips up a smooth instrumental for the occasion, Buck opts to provide an update his contentious relationship with 50 Cent. Addressing his former G-Unit partner by name, Buck keeps things relatively businesslike as he reflects on where things went wrong. “The question is, why try to sign me and sabotage me?” asks Buck. “Break me and Travelodge me, see me and try to dodge me.” As the emotional verse continues, he brings up the time he stabbed a man in Dr. Dre’s defense. “Thought you were my brotha, n***a, told you to guide me,” he laments. “Put this knife inside a stomach n***a told you to hide me / Ay Dre, you don’t owe me nothing n***a I do this proudly!”

Closing things out with a reference to Lloyd Banks, wishing that the Punchline King would slide in with a closing verse, “Ash Tray” feels like a climactic chapter of the G-Unit saga. Though it’s unlikely we’ll ever see true peace between the once-mighty crew, perhaps Buck’s words will resonate this time — however likely that may be.

Thought you were my brotha, n***a, told you to guide me,
Put this knife inside a stomach n***a told you to hide me

Post Malone Covers “Only Wanna Be With You” For Pokémon’s 25th Anniversary

Post Malone recently announced that he would be performing at the upcoming Pokémon 25 celebration, putting on a show to ring in the quarter-century mark for the storied animation franchise. That wasn’t all he had planned with Pikachu and Co. though because, on Thursday, the world-renowned pop-rap artist released a cover of “Only Wanna Be With You” by Hootie and the Blowfish, which originally also came out twenty-five years ago, to recall simpler times.

Post’s cover of “Only Wanna Be With You” is officially on all major streaming platforms, as well as video-sharing service YouTube. It’s the first new music we’ve heard from the artist this year, hopefully marking a change of activity for the rest of the year.

His new cover of the track will be performed as part of his virtual concert experience for Pokémon 25 on Saturday, February 27. Post isn’t the only superstar that’s gotten involved with the campaign as pop star Katy Perry will also be part of the anniversary celebration.

What do you think of Post’s cover of the song? Happy Pokémon 25!
