“Walking Dead” Finale Reveals Final Season Will Debut In August With New Teaser

Some of you may be thinking… The Walking Dead is still on TV? Yes. Almost like a Law & Order series, The Walking Dead is harder to kill than its antagonists. However, AMC has just announced that the popular zombie apocalypse show has reached its end. On tonight’s season finale, “Here’s Negan,” AMC revealed that the 11th season will debut on August 22. It will be the show’s last.

“Coming off of the six additional episodes for Season 10, which focused on smaller, character-driven stories, we’re excited to kick off Season 11 bigger than ever,” The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang stated. “The stakes will be high – we’ll see more zombies, tons of action, intriguing new stories, never-before-seen locations and our groups together in one community for the first time, trying to rebuild what the Whisperers took from then.” Of course, fan favorites Daryl and Carol (Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride) are set up to have a spin-off show, so TWD universe will still be alive and well. However, season 11 will be the last ride for the show that started an international phenomenon. Are you sad to see The Walking Dead end, or are you surprised that it’s still on TV?

Jacquees Shares Snippet Of His Remix To Jazmine Sullivan & Ari Lennox’s “On It”

Jacquees blew up off his talent for crafting dope remixes, and so why fix what isn’t broken? The smooth R&B singer got a hold of Jazmine Sullivan and Ari Lennox’s dope new record “On It,” and decided to jump on. The song is a sexy banger where Sullivan and Lennox debate on whether or not a certain suitor is worthy of getting the goods. The ladies shine on the single together. The way the song is structured, it would make sense for a male artist to jump on the track to respond.

Jacquees does just that, and he shared a snippet of the track on social media. “ALL MONTH LONG!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ( I just woke up 😂😂🤧),” wrote the singer as a caption, hinting that he’s going to be remixing more music very soon. In the snippet, another voice can be heard possibly featuring on the track. The moment is brief, and we’ll have to see who Jacquees brings along for his remix ride.

Earlier this year, Jacquees had a pretty public split with Dreezy, which played out partially on social media. However, we’re glad to see he’s back to focusing on some new music. Do you want a remix wave from Jacquees right now, or nah?

Tyrese Gets Roasted After Posting Verzuz Comment About His Mother’s Drinking

Tyrese Gibson, much like many of us, was tuned into the Isley Brother and Earth, Wind, and Fire Verzuz battle on Easter evening. The actor and singer usually has some funny comments to make, but this time, Tyrese caused an uproar with his latest remarks. While the Verzuz battle was taking place, Ty slid into the comments to write: “Hate that my mother used to drink everything – but SHE’s the reason I know real music.”

Although alcoholism is not a joke, nor is Tyrese’s situation funny, what made people laugh is the fact Ty just always has the craziest comments at the weirdest timing. For example, his comments on vegan sex parties, dead celebrity’s sperm, an age limit for TikTok, and his methods of avoiding COVID-19 (among other infamously hilarious comments). Much like all those times, the internet went in on him for revealing such a personal story about his mom under a Verzuz battle comment section.

“Tyrese in the comments is sending me,” wrote one user. “Tyrese using Verzuz as a free therapy session,” wrote another. Of course, the memes were flying as the internet began to roast Ty.

Quelly Woo Is Surrounded By “Jealousy”

Quelly Woo is picking up where Pop Smoke left off on his new project Tactical PressureThe drill scene gets another sensational project, and Woo seems like he’s ready to take off. On his single “Jealousy,” the young rapper vents about trust levels and envy in his environment.

The concept of jealously in hip-hop is nothing new. Of course, clout chasing and the internet has changed things over the years, however, envy has always been an issue. Quelly Woo gives his take on the topic, over an outstanding instrumental. As epic choir lays the backdrop for the knocking drill beat, giving it a haunting vibe. Stream “Jealously” and Tactical Pressure, and let us know what you think below.

Quotable Lyrics
I’m feelin’ jealousy
A few niggas hatin’ and envy me
I told her TP, stop the talkin
Kick a Chevy, we could split it in portions, like
Grab the fire like Buddy Bodega, call up Eli, he gon’ shoot like a Laker
Shoot like PG from the Pacers, they call me TP ’cause I never say much

“Mortal Kombat” Reboot Release Date Gets Delayed By Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. Mortal Kombat is one of the big draws to buying HBO Max. The streaming service made a major move by promising to release all their films in 2021 to their viewer base. That means films like Space Jam, Mortal Kombat, Godzilla VS Kongand more are slated to hit HBO Max on the same day they are released in theaters. That is great for the consumer! However, it looks like fans of Mortal Kombat will need to wait a little longer for their moment.

Mortal Kombat was originally scheduled for April 16 and is instead dropping on April 23. This is only a week wait, but for some fans, that really kills the vibe. We did have to wait this long since the last film (almost three decades), so what’s the harm in one more week? Joe Taslim stars as Sub-Zero (The OG version) and Hiroyuki Sanada will play Scorpion in the highly anticipated flick.

Warner hit it out the park with Godzilla VS Kong, setting a pandemic box office record this weekend. It is possible that Warner anticipates more theaters being opened up at the end of April, pushing back the Mortal Kombat release so that more people will have movie access.

Sebastian Stan On Playing Luke Skywalker: “Don’t Want To F*** Up That Character”

Fans have long wished and prayed for Disney to cast Sebastian Stan as Luke Skywalker. Stan looks a lot like Mark Hamill, who brought the famous character to life in every Star Wars film Luke appears in. However, with Luke’s recent appearance in The Mandalorian, fans are clamoring to get Stan into the mix now more than ever. It’s obvious that de-aging Hamill won’t work for an entire series, and Stan already has a Disney contract due to his involvement with the Avengers series as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier.

Stan was asked about the rumors and speculation that he’ll one day play Luke by MTV Asia (about 6:65 into the video). Sadly, it doesn’t seem like the Stan/Luke vision is in play right now over at Disney. “I always certainly hear about [Luke Skywalker rumors] and I’m always slightly confused because I’m like if there are these conversations happening, why isn’t anybody calling me about it and having a conversation with me about it?” Stan told MTV. “Like anybody, I grew up on Star Wars, and for me, Empire Strikes Back was like one of my favorite movies. And Mark Hamill is one of the most iconic personalities and Luke Skywalker’s an iconic character, so obviously, it doesn’t sound like it’s my choice. It doesn’t feel like it’s up to me. Whatever that needs to be will sort itself out, and if it includes me in any way, hey — who knows.”

He continued on to opine about a possible plotline for Luke. “Like where does he go, what happens to him? I think those questions would be really interesting,” Stan stated. “And of course, it’s another one of those things where you’re like, ‘Well, you don’t want to fuck up that character. You want to get that one right.’ But anyway, we’ll see.”

Daniel Kaluuya Hilariously Compares British & American Racism On “SNL”

Daniel Kaluuya is a boss. The Judas and the Black Messiah star just took home the Golden Globe for his role as Chairman Fred Hampton. Of course, that would be it is an opportune moment to host Saturday Night Live. Kaluuya did just that this past weekend, and he delighted viewers with a hilarious opening monologue.

“I know you’re hearing my accent and thinking, ‘Oh no. He’s not Black. He’s British.’ I’m here to reassure you that I’m Black, and I’m British,” Kaluuya started off his monologue. He then threw in a timely joke about the royal family, who were outed a racist by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. “I’m what the royal family was worried the baby would look like,” he joked.

Kaluuya then continued on to compare British racism and American racism, in order to determine which one was worse. “Let me put it this way. British racism is so bad, white people left. They wanted to be free — free to create their own kinds of racisms. That’s why they invented Australia, South Africa, and Boston,” Kaluuya joked. The actor went on to joke about his Golden Globe muted moment, and more. Check out his entire monologue below and share a few laughs with your friends!
